made an appointment for a haircut with Gustavo & he didn’t show up, I waited for him for 30mins… I came to this place because I was referred by a co-​worker, not a good way to threat a 1^st time customer :(

This is the worst place to get your hair done! Don’t go here!!! I was part of a bridal party and the bride had picked this place to get all our hair done. I walk in and was immediately dissatisfied with the lack of cleanliness. You’d think with such a small salon, they’d be able to maintain and clean up the place.
Upon arriving for my 8:15 appointment I was also dissatisfied to hear that they had fallen behind on other bridal party hair and was running an hour and a half behind. AN HOUR AND A HALF! Can you believe it?! When I asked why they were sooo behind its because one stylist showed up and no other stylists came in to aid with all the bridal party hair appointments. Talk about lack of organization, preparation, and pride in your business. I sat around with other dissatisfied bridesmaids and was standing and talking to a bridesmaids maid getting her hair done when I felt some itching on my feet. I look down, and ants were EVERYWHERE! They were infested with ants and I was so nicely standing in their pathway that they started crawling over my feet and up my legs. Thanks for warning caricapelli stylist!
I didn’t sit in a chair till 9:40; which now was going to make me, and the others waiting, LATE to the brides house where a photographer was showing up at 10. I showed her the hair style I wanted (a curled half up/​half down style) and it came out nothing like the picture but since I was now running behind (it’s ~10:45) I just said it was fine and wanted to pay.
Before picking this establishment, the bridal party was quoted ~$ 40 per person to get their hair done. So when paying I was surprised that the amount I had to pay was $ 80! What the heck?! Why?! I was told it was because my hair was a little thick and my hair style was difficult. I look around and another brides maid who got a complete Up-​do was only charged $ 60. The bride got extensions, curled hair, a tiara put in, and a half up/​half down style, and was charged $ 60. I asked why all the other styles were cheaper when mine was less complicated and took less time. She responded that it’s because the other stylist that showed up late charges a different amount. I just said it’s ridiculous that they all charge different amounts and I could’ve waited for the other stylist so I could pay less and she had no answer. I just paid the ridiculous amount and left. An hour later
My hair came undone. Can’t believe what a waste of time and money that place was. I repeat, don’t go there!!!

I went with Stephanie for the first time because my hair was a mess all orange and brassy and she did it, she fixed it it took a few hours but it’s really worthy

Martita is awesome! Ashley and I have been going with her forever and she puts amazing extensions, and for awhile ash was platinum blonde and martita had her going from brown to blonde in no time! i have other friends that gi with her and all of them gush about the excellent job all thse people make, specially Marta!

Gustavo is the absolute best!!! I always love my hair, and it is always exactly how I want it!
My mom has been going to him for 15+ years and I recently started going as well — I see why she is such a loyal customer!
Everyone is extremely nice and very helpful, I highly recommend trying out this salon!!!

I was skeptical to try this salon specially after I drove up to it. It’s pretty sketchy on the outside and the bars on the windows didn’t put me at ease. Nevertheless, I managed to overcome my fear and go inside and set up an appointment.
Inside, the salon displays a big teal wall with chipped off paint and very generic salon chairs etc. nothing fancy.
Fast forward to my appointment… The owner Martha did my hair and she knows her stuff and doesn’t give you any false expectations. Whole ombré process took over 6 hours but the results were amazing. No harsh lines and a very gradual result.
Overall, the salon is older and in the middle of the ghetto. The staff lacks customer service skills and professionalism. If you are able to overcome that you will get great hair results, just dont pay attention to the staff speaking in their secret dialect about you or their wild weekend.
