I love a place that can provide vegan options and blaze it pizza is one of them. The price is okay and the workers and kind and friendly. For a place that is located in a mall they are quick with service and provide you with anything that you need, I had a delicious pizza and I am always excited in returning for more of the handmade, fresh pizza from this place :)

This is by far one of the best pizza places, i have had, A coworker ordered though they messed up and made her wait. forever and a day I have to remove 1 star, for that as we where waiting at work for our pizza’s. But I’d go in Person next time, this review is based off me eating the pizza at work Thin crust, regular dough, chicken, sausage, spinach, olives, mushroom and bannana peppers. It was a B+

Let me start off by saying I am from NY and it is hard to find good pizza around here. This place was pretty good. It was almost like a subway where you built your own pizza. What’s nice is you can add any topping you want and still pay the price! The pizza is made so fast as well I think I waited maybe 3 mins. Good spot will definitely be going there again!

I returned to to this place and was satisfied with the how they arranged the toppings this time(last time they threw the toppings in a single pile), it was evenly spread. Definitely improved on the time, Pizza came out fast! …still needs to work on the staff, they are not friendly at the least. Overall pizza was great.

This was my first time to Blaze and I thought I’d give it a try because I like Pieology so much. The service was fast and friendly however my pizza was mediocre. It wasn’t terrible but I wasn’t «wowed» either. The dough and ingredients were nothing special. Pizza was soggy in the center and too over cooked on the edges. Most of the toppings seemed to be out of a can. I would have preferred more sauce choices as well. I’d prefer to go to Pieology over Blaze now that I’ve had both. Pieology has a wider range of toppings, cheeses and sauces. In the trendy world of «build your own» concepts, there is just too much competition to be mediocre.

I’m a big fan of Blaze. So is my family. We tried many different branches. All was impressive! Pizza always good. Staff was welcoming and friendly. My first experience at Santa Ana mall was a disappointment! I waited few minutes for the staff to finished his thing and finally look at me and ask me what I want. When I was telling him what I wanted he was just looking focusing on the items instead of a customer in front of him. That was kind of odd. After I sat down and waited for my pizza the two staffs was just talking and laughing while letting my pizza siting on the counter. I watched and waited to see when will they be done talking. End up the girl just let my pizza sat there. There was a service issue at this branch!

I only gave them two stars because they have amazing food but shitty customer service. The man helping me at first wasn’t even paying attention to what I wanted and I could tell he was completely rushing me. He didn’t know what he was doing and talked to his coworker rather than me. He totally messed up my friend’s order and we had to repeat ourselves four times before he went back and fixed it. After my pizza came out of the oven, a different worker was packing up my pizza and I asked for pesto. I once again had to repeat myself about three times because this worker was also talking to his other coworker. Overall, the customer service was absolutely terrible and the employees have the same issues.

This is like a pizza Subway! You can customize your very own pizza, then they ‘blaze’ it FAST… heh heh. They also sell beer and wine! Pizza & beer = best combo. Oh, and their lemonade is so good! The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Loving this place!

Decided to try this pizza place out since I’ve been craving pizza and to try out other places that has the gluten-free crust option. The pizza itself is $ 7.95 + $ 3.00(gluten-free crust). For two pizzas it was around $ 20. Anyways, I got the green stripe which had chicken, pesto, arugula, red peppers, mozzarella, and garlic. The crust was not bad for it being gluten-free and it had a nice crunchy texture. The pesto sauce was a bit on the oily side… but it was okay just had to use more napkins to wipe my hands. Overall, a pretty good personal pizza place to try out.

This place is so good Every topping is flavorful and I think they have more toppings than Pieology. I love the zucchini, bell peppers, carmelized onions, and the whole roasted garlic they had to offer. It really made the pizza GOOD. Plus the pizza crust itself was good it seasoned and was not hard or dry. It was good enough that I ate it. The pizza was huge and filled me up. Do stop by here if you’re craving pizza!

Who doesn’t love pizza!!! Fresh, Quick Delicious Pizza with great customer services! Dropped by with my 8 year old niece. She ordered the Bbq Chicken pizza. Cindy H. gladly took our order with the biggest smile! The staff is really attentive and friendly. Cindy T. who checked on us several times and kept our table cleaned! Thanks!

I’ve been meaning to update my one star review. Which isn’t by much. If you find my previous review, please take your time to read it and laugh! Lol, even though the service here was poor, after my rant, the manager or whoever reached out to me, apologized, and asked me to come back in to get a free pizza on them! For this generosity, I’ll give you another star, but still, my views still stand. Please upgrade your staff, those kids should go deliver pizza instead of making it!

This was my first time eating at a blaze pizza, but I figured the ordering system was the same as Pieology, sure enough. Exact same setup. So I’ll just talk about the pizza! I ordered my pizza with«spicy» red sauce(though I didn’t taste any spice), pepperoni, sausage, roasted garlic, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and jalapeños. AND with all those toppings the only thing I really tasted was the jalapenos. I had the SO eat her first slice without any jalapenos and she agreed that it lacked flavor. So pretty much bland pizza. Although I did like the crust, it was crusty yet still held shape considering I tend to fold my pizzas in half like a taco. Oh and the Shocktop made up for the blandness. The tomato basil and ovalini cheese salad with balsamic glaze was pretty tasty, minus the few leaves that were rotten. Overall, not sure if I would return to Blaze again, maybe if I wanted a quick bite and was REALLY hungry.

When we know its the end, we go in a **BLANK** of glory. We will always love this creation and encounter it wherever we go. What is it exactly?! Its PIZZA! I’ve always wondered about this new«old» concept: Build Your Own Pizza. What was the difference of me customizing my pizza than Build Your Own?! We’ll never know until you come to Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza at the Westfield Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana. Located at the west section of the Westfield Mainplace Mall at the first level of the food court, you’ll find this lovely pumpkin/orange color of Blaze Pizza. Yeah, we could use the whole name. Blast Fast-Fire’d Pizza, but these days, Blaze is the name to use. With so many other competitors around, Blaze makes it very simple. How simple?! Actually, YOU are on the driver’s seat on the order. You can select the a couple varieties of favorite pizza or better yet… You make your own. With this Blaze Pizza located in the mall, you have your options of having your pizza in the mall or outside in the patio. You can grab a bite before or after the movie which is conveniently located at Westfield Mainplace as well. As you get in line, you wonder if you made the greatest choice or fear what you just did wrong. A Blaze Artist greets you in line and is happy to make whatever monster creation you want to make. They mark the pizza base with a marker with your name and order. You can choose one of their popular menu items or make your own. THATSIMPLE! They have three simple pizzas to choose from. A Simple Pie for $ 5.45, a One Topping Pizza for $ 6.45, or BUILDYOUROWN for $ 7.95. I like Blaze’s selection of pizzas. I tend to mix up their favorites. My choice is their CHKN Pizza. I don’t know why they have missing letters, but I like it. They have the dough ready for you. It can be a classic dough or gluten-free. Instead of a tomato sauce as a base, I have it covered in BBQ Sauce. I know most people like to have this pizza covered in chicken, but I prefer mine in banana peppers. Its not hot, but its sweet with a little tickle of heat. I had extra banana peppers to make my pizza was in heaven. Just before it goes in the oven, I want to add even more BBQ sauce drizzling up and down the pizza. DELICIOUS! My mouth is watering every time. Of course, I ask the Blaze Artist, ADDSOMEOREGANO! Then it goes into the Fire Deck oven. It’ll take about 5 – 10 minutes depending on how many other pizzas are in it. The dining area is plentiful with a lot of stools and high tables. There are several of tables in the back with a small dining area that leads to nowhere, but a wall. Or you can decided to eat outside. Grab some Parmesan cheese or Tabasco while your food is getting prepared. When your name is called, you hit the jackpot. Blaze Pizza can either come in a unique pizza box or just a simple metal tray. You get eight slices and each one is never the same as the other. Even though you have the same ingredients. Whatever pizza you choose, its YOURBLAZE Pizza. You may have a Blaze close to your home. No… No…Don’t call the fire department! I mean Blaze Pizza. If you do have a Blaze, head on over and make your ULTIMATEPIZZA! If your pizza fails you, then you didn’t make your dream pizza. You can enjoy a whole pizza without feeling guilty and making your cry at the corner of the room. Trust me, I used to do… Nevermind. Blaze Pizza is a sure bet that you can fill your tummy with some custom pizza. Unilocal…I Live, Breathe, and Share my Reviews for everyone to read. Come Join Me!

So these pizza assembly line places are apparently all the rage now, but I got out of my chair to give Blaze a try because they have vegan cheese. I can get vegan pizza just about anywhere, but who wants dough, sauce, and a few salad veggies tossed on just to make the naked sauce feel less lonely? Yeah, me neither. The good: The pizza has a nice thin, crisp crust. At both Blaze visits, the pizza baker was very attentive and pulled it out before it got too crunchy. Also, the aforementioned vegan cheese. And when I ordered the vegan cheese, they asked if I would like them to change their gloves. Thank you, and well played, Blaze! The selection of veggies was good too. Roasted whole garlic cloves, kalamata olives, fresh basil, sauteed onions… not your basic, boring salad greens. The blood orange lemonade was good and there was a good selection of beers. The bad: The aforementioned vegan cheese is an extra $ 2 and if you’re going to charge me that, give me enough to hide the sauce. I don’t know if this is a real bad thing, but there is only one size of pizza. Kid or big person, lunch or dinner. However, nothing in the bad column is bad enough to keep me from coming back. Blaze has earned a spot in the lunch rotation.

Hey my mistake, ok? I came on a weekend. The mall in general was packed, and I thought I was dodging a bullet by coming here, where it had its own designated seating area. There was only one person in line in front of me, but it took almost 10 minutes to have my pizza made because the only person making the pizza was the newest employee, who had no idea how to sprinkle cheese evenly on the crust. I noticed there was also double dipping between sauces, which I was ok with but you might not be, especially since the spoon was going between spicy and non spicy marinara. The toppings seemed really fresh and my pizza came out slightly charred just the way I like it, but I really can’t recommend this place based on the fact that it took forever to get my food and the seating area was dirty. On the plus, aside from the trainee, the service was average.

I’ve been to blaze in Irvine before so I was quite familiar with the concept. Its located next to Dog Haus inside Mainplace Mall. I came through with some people after we had just went to Round 1’s grand opening. We ordered the meat lovers and it was actually a really delicious meal. The pizza was made perfectly and the toppings we got really complimented the pie itself. The whole thing was like 8 – 10 bucks which isn’t that bad at all considering the pizza was pretty fresh and tasty. The place looked clean but when we sat down we noticed how disgusting the tables were. The tables were all sticky and had leftover remains from prior customers. Clearly the employees here are not doing their jobs. Speaking of which, the employees here were really absent minded. They had a really sour attitude when greeting us and then proceeded to chit chat amongst themselves when customers were present in line. When their«friends» came by the atmosphere became unprofessional but then again it is a mall pizza place so I get it. Not too mention these are a bunch of teenage kids who probably lack the proper training. Overall service sucks from the start of the line but got a whole lot better when we reached the employee who seemed like the veteran of the bunch. He rang us up and was more professional than his teenage peers. Overall the pizza was extremely zesty but with a lack of cleanliness and customer service somewhat abysmal, unorganized, and lacking I probably won’t be returning to this place. I’ll stick to either Blaze in Irvine or Pieology. PS I don’t think this place is better than Pieology.

Cool spot to make your own personal pizza. Tons of different types of cheeses. My son had a blast with all the different choices of sauces, cheeses and toppings. They even had white sauce! The restaurant itself is inside the mall and is small but comfy. The service topped it off! It was our first time so we weren’t really sure how it worked but the workers were patient and friendly explaining how they operate. After we began eating they even came and walked the restaurant to check on everyone. This is a definite first since most fast food, pizza joints don’t really ever come out from behind the counter. Definite plus for customer service!
