Their lunch specials are great! If you don’t have a long lunch, you can always call in your order! Love their calzones too! They have a nice patio on the roof where you can enjoy your food and take in fresh air… Well almost fresh –__–

Type of place you only would hit with county business or a class near by. I was in a class. Because the parking was so expensive it saved money to eat here. Tried a sandwich with fries the 1st day. Everything was good. The portion on the fries was large, they cooked them fresh. I grabbed a coffee that was pretty potent because I stayed up a lil longer that night. My 2nd day I grabbed a asada burrito and soup. The lady behind the counter can fold a heck of a burrito. Large, fresh. Id ask for more salsa next time but it was still good for what they had on it. The soup was tasty, decent price, hot and fresh. Id get it again. **HOTTIP** Go up in the morning and order lunch, give them the time and its ready for a quick pick up. The out door patio is roof top and actually pretty nice. I enjoyed the time out there, music, nice shade set up or sunny spots too.

Food is good, prices fair(better than driving to find food) pizza for 4.99 is a great deal, sandwiches are plentiful of fixings, salads — many selections fresh n tasty. The staff is really nice and caring. You need cash to purchase things here only, they have a ATM machine inside to get cash for a fee. TV s don’t work it’s not been fixed for almost a year so far !!! Great place to grab food and internet wi if for free

Great place to grab a bite — not your typical cafeteria food. The owner Is very involved in each Bella’s location. I highly recommend this lunch spot!

Not bad for the cafeteria in the courthouse. Definitely like the food, I had the chicken tacos and they were good. Everything was made fresh so it’s not like getting food wrapped in Saran wrap from a normal cafeteria. If I’m ever in the courthouse again I will definitely take the short walk to the records building to have lunch here.

Don’t be fooled, this is no better than a decent cafeteria at a hospital, or other such institution. It’s reasonably priced, but nothing to make a stop for if you’re adventurous. You know the type of fare to expect at a cafeteria — wraps, sandwiches, lettuce-based salads, etc. This place is no different, but no worse than usual, either.

Unlike the other 2 Bella’s Kitchens in the 2 block radius, this one isn’t inside a Federal building so anyone can go in without the security screening. This location also has a younger crowd and less serious atmosphere during lunch time. Daily lunch specials are the way to go and it’s not too bad I must say, especially when it’s Italian. The only downside is the journey to get here. You must pass the area where a lot of the homeless hang out so it can smell quite unpleasant(urine). Once you make it to the county records building, you take the elevator to the 3rd floor and go all the way down the hall until you find this cafeteria.

The prices at this cafeteria are low. My wife and I split a calzone between us. It was big enough for the two of us. The price was $ 5. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The calzone was made at 11:00AM. We got there at 12:30PM. They heated up the calzone in an oven. The grease had soaked though calzone and the bottom was super greasy. The grease permeated the rest of the shell and made it taste rubbery. The food at the Orange County Court House is much better. Don’t eat here.

Great quality food for a super low price! Yummy pizzas, sandwiches on fresh baked bread and daily specials! And most items are under $ 5…and be sure to sign up for their mailing list in order to receive their weekly specials by email! Oh… and they cater too! We’ve used their catering services for several events and people rave about the food EVERY time! And nobody can beat their prices!

Super handy location, large selection and reasonable prices what’s not to love? It was pretty quirky having Christmas carols playing on the radio last week in mid-July…

I love the steak tacos here. the meat is well cooked and they go great with the green salsa and cheese that are added on top. plus at $ 1.50 ea. can’t beat the price! They have a good variety of meals, from Italian to sandwiches to the usual mexican favorites, this places is crowded during lunch hour, so if you work in the area, try to order ahead. All the cooks here are nice and they will help you figure out what is the best meal to try here. I love this place because is within walking distance of my work plus I can eat pretty well with less than five bucks!

This place is really good! I’ve been here for lunch and now for breakfast. I am a vegetarian, so I appreciate that they always have a lot of veg. options. I got the special for lunch, which was the caprese panini! AMAZING bread, good pesto and man, they had fresh mozzarella, which is a miracle especially considering this is a café-style place. This morning for breakfast, I just got the breakfast potatoes, not knowing they would be amazing, loaded with flavors, perfectly cooked with onions and bell peppers and herbs and whatnot. Good stuff and very very reasonable. I am definitely going back!

This is the best restaurant in the downtown area. John, the boss makes everything from scratch. He has a wide variety of good foods for an excellent price. Everyone who works in the courts and civic center area has found out about this little gem. Our office had one of the guys go over and order catering from John. It was absolutely excellent and was very reasonable. The variety of specials is amazing. Like an old east coast diner, the menu is wide. From BBQ to teriyaki and rice, and the always italian dishes. I can honestly say I have never had a bad sandwich or meal. If your serving jury duty swing over, its on the third floor of the County Records building, serves starbucks coffee.

Man, this place is good! It’s an insider’s favorite for anyone who works in downtown Santa Ana. One of the guys at the office where I intern told me to go here for cozy, cheap eats and so now I know I can just run across the street for something quick and hot when I didn’t bring lunch from home. Cash only, though, so bring your wrinkled dollars and get busy. The guy cooking at Bella’s(and maybe he’s the owner) is this over the top, gregarious mountain of a man who – and I’m willing to bet good money here – really likes to eat. Well, dude, it shows :))) I think the specials change pretty frequently but one of my favorites is the white pizza with broccoli and marinara sauce on the side. It’s definitely different but it’s also undeniably delicious and filling. Bella’s is a good spot. Lets you take a break from the day and catch your breath a little. Don’t forget, though, that it’s only open during office hours because it’s in sync with all the government/court work done in the surrounding few blocks, so by 5 o’clock, most of the food will have been sold. Just how it works around here :)

I ate at Bella’s Kitchen for lunch today since it’s very close to my work. I have eaten here several times before, usually when I go to the Civic Center for meetings or training classes. Today, I got there just at the right time, as a steaming, juicy combination pizza came right out of the hot oven! The pizza had cheese, sausage, mushrooms, green bell peppers, onions, and olives. It was deliciously mouth-watering! It was slightly bigger than the size of a usual frozen pizza, cut into four slices. 4.99, not a bad price. I ate all four slices! Mmmmm, I love pizza :)
