Not that great, this is another one of the disappointing places you find on Unilocal that have high ratings and bland food. The salsa taste like tomato sauce.

Camorines burrito is a must. Very friendly service and everything is delicious. I even eat the stuff with sour cream or mayonnaise. And I hate sour cream and mayonnaise! My go to spot in Santa Ana. I mean everything they make is great!

Been coming here for years. Service is excellent, the place is very clean, and the food is outstanding. My favorites are the Camarones a la Diabla(I like it extra hot), and the Tortas. My wife swears by the Cheese Enchiladas. This place is very good, from top to bottom.

My girlfriend and I were in the neighborhood looking for a good Mexican place. We stumbled upon Antojitos Clemente and we loved it! The place is exceptionally clean and the service is excellent. Omar took great care of us, he’s really personable and gave us really fast service. We ordered the fish taco(holy crap, probably the best or 2nd best I’ve ever had) a bean and cheese burrito and the enchiladas with cheese. We had our mouths watering at every bite. Aside from the authentic food, clean restaurant, and great service, it’s in a location you’d never look twice at which is a shame. But I highly recommend going here. Honestly it’s worth it and then some.

Stopped by for a quick bite after court. This restaurant is smallish and very clean. Came in thinking tacos but on the server’s recommendation chose the spicy shrimp with beans and rice. The chips and salsa were quite good and a bit different. Freshly made, the chips are a bit thicker than usual, Think in between an ordinary chip and a Stacys pita chip. The salsa is also sort of like a Cholula sauce in a bowl. But both are good(I was glad to have seconds). The spicy shrimp was very good. Probably 8 or 9 shrimp instead in another different sauce also resembling a Cholula but with a fine flavor. The shrimp and rice were great together with the sauce, and also wrapped in taco sized tortillas. I ate every bite and found the portions satisfying and better yet very flavorful and enjoyable. Finally, the crowd. When I walked in, the place was about half full with Hispanic blue collar types(a good sign) and as it got closer to noon the place filled up with office types and teachers(there must be a school nearby). In short this was a popular lunch spot and for good reason. The meal was great, the price moderate, and the service was quick and courteous. I would definitely come back here for a great meal when in Santa Ana.

I love this place. Very unassuming; you’ll find the restaurant in the middle of a pseudo new-ish strip mall. And what a find it is. Nothing fancy, just tasty. My favorite is their filete de ajo(fish filet with garlic). The fish is fresh, and the garlic sauce… AMAZING. Then, there’s the choco-flan to finish(a must). All I can say about that is YUM. This place is definitely worth searching out.

Their customer service is great. Its a small place so expect a wait if you arrive during lunch. The chips and salsa are really good. Chips look like they just fried the tortillas. Their tostadas are insanely huge. I tried their shrimp a la Diabla and was very dissapointed. I was expecting authentic chipotle sauce with a thick paste but was rather given this aqueous salsa that looked like butter and tapatio mixed. :(I’ll stick to the tostadas.

I love this place! It’s the go to every time we are in Santa Ana! There chips and salsa are the best and they come free as an appetizer! The seafood here is always fresh and tasty. I wish I lived closer I’d probably go everyday!

Food was average at best. I got the two fish taco plate, it came with chips, beans and rice. The fish tacos were greasy and dripping oil, there was no white sauce and overall was pretty forgettable. There’s a 1 $ fee for using a credit card so my meal ended up being 7 $. Perhaps their ceviche is better as I saw lots of people ordering that instead.

Great tasting shrimp plates. The camarones a la diabla(shrimp in spicy sauce) with beans, rice and tortillas is very flavorful. There were 8 large fresh succulent shrimp that we’re nicely shelled & deveined which made them easy to eat compared to having to shell them yourself. The aguas frescas are made fresh from whole ingredients, not from pre-made mixes or powders. So the jamaica and other fruit drinks are fresh squeezed and taste so good.

Had this for lunch today and i have to say I’m quite impressed. They don’t offer any beef selection on the menu but I’m not complaining. I had two hard shell chicken tacos and the shrimp in «a la diabla» sauce with rice and beans. The shrimp wasn’t up to par because it didn’t taste fresh but the flavor from the sauce Definitely made the meal very delicious. The rice and beans were made differently from what you would expect at any other Mexican restaurant. It was a bit on the greasy side but had an explosive flavor to pretty much everything. I wish it were a bit closer to work so i can try the cocktail. I would definitely go back again if I’m around the area.

Clementes is a family own business. The couple is great and attentive to what the customer wants. The staff also gives magnificent customer service. I been going there since I was 2yrs old. They know what I want. :) Tortas de camaron a la diabla are the BEST! Also my mom loves their enchiladas michoacanas and they stick to what enchildas really need to be.

When I think of Authentic Mexican food, it’s pretty simple. The workers gotta talk to me in spanish and right when I walked in this place, I was greeted with«buenos dias». Not only did they speak spanish, the mini table menu was in spanish also. So I’ve been to their other location in Costa Mesa, but I would have to say this one is a little more authentic than the other location. I ALWAYS order the same thing when I come here, and it’s been a while since I don’t work in Santa Ana anymore. I order the torta milanesa(breaded steak sandwich) and that’s all I’m gonna review here. It’s so good you gotta go here and just order this, the other tortas are good too torta pescado and torta camaron(fish and shrimp) but I usually get the milanesa. Torta milanesa costs $ 4.58 and if you eat here they give you chips and salsa. But if you order to go, no chips and salsa for you. So place your order, grab a seat and listen to mariachi music playing on the radio in the background and get your taste buds ready for some good breaded steak. It’s not as good as I remember it, but it’s still good. If you want jalapenos, you gotta ask for them.
