Went on a Sunday lunchtime. Got some really good help/service picking out items since we’d not been here before. Not real busy, took about ten minutes to get our food. Great tacos all around and the grilled shrimp salad was good as well. My dad got the nachos and a taco. The nachos were just cheese sauce and ground beef. Too much cheese sauce no matter how good it is(it’s really tasty). My dad’s words were, «I should’ve ordered two tacos«. I don’t give out fives often, but this was close.

Just the worst Fuzzy’s location. Nothing is clean, the kitchen is always missing like ten menu items, the service is slower than molasses, the food is not at all well-prepared, and honestly there isn’t much good to say about it except we surprisingly didn’t get sick after we ate. Fuzzy’s is not a well-maintained franchise in any capacity, so it isn’t surprising that this chain is how it is.

This location is always consistent in their quality and service. The shredded beef tacos are great, as well as the veggie salads, I haven’t had anything I didn’t like here. I am a bit disappointed that they did away with their weekly specials. We really enjoyed going on taco Tuesdays for some breakfast tacos and Beer. Update: went in for dinner on Thursday, waited 20 min for four breakfast tacos, the eggs were blackened, the potatoes were hard and undercooked. One taco didn’t even have any egg on it. We asked for a refund. Not a good night for fuzzys.

I wish I could give 0 stars! I’ve tried Fuzzy’s in the past and waited again to give my thoughts. GROSS is the only way to describe the menu at Fuzzy’s. The staff acted like they had better things to do than take my order. The food is atrocious! I tried the fish tacos. Think fish sticks on a stale store bought tortilla with garlic sauce and feta cheese. Really? The most disgusting taste combination I’ve ever had. I’m often amazed at all the cars with fuzzy taco stickers — these folks must not have any taste buds.

Unless you’re drinking like a fish, returning these glasses back to the counter empty and looking for refills… your order is definitely NOT priority. A guy just returned four — two in each hand — and the guy with him returned another two. They are schmoozing it up with the chef, the only chef, and you’d think these two have a key to the city. The place isn’t busy but it takes 20 minutes to get our food. We travel between Waco and Oklahoma City quite often and this is the 2nd time in a month we’ve stopped here for a late dinner. The first time, they were out of everything and it took about 30 minutes that night to get our food. They were quick to offer up an explanation that someone no showed their shift and they’ve been swamped all day. The restaurant was a mess, trass cans overflowing, etc. Tonight, it’s not much different. They are out of tea until the truck gets here tomorrow. Should restaurants really be running out of tea? Or do they not want to make it fresh close to closing time? We thought closing time was 10pm(per Unilocal) but they keep turning away people walking in the door. In addition, as mentioned in other reviews, they forgot our chips and queso all together. All in all, avoid this location. I’ve been to others and really enjoy the food and vibe. This place sucks! If these guys aren’t the owners, the real owner needs to step forward and hire some new employees!

We’ve just recently started going to the Sanger location. Always had good service and good food. Love the shredded beef tacos, queso and Guacamole!

This is by far the worse Fuzzy Taco ever! The people who come in behind you get their meal before you do. You order chips and queso and you don’t get it until you get your meal 30min later after everyone else was served. The staff is very unfriendly!

You can not fix cold nachos with a microwave. You just can’t! Just remake them with hot ingredients already. I ordered nachos, not nacho pudding.

Worst Fuzzy’s I have been to by far. It is always dirty or the bathroom has spewing smells through the entire place. Each member of our family has gotten sick after eating here at least once. Save your tummy and drive into Denton for your Fuzzy’s fix!

We have had fuzzy’s multiple times at other locations and it’s great! The food at the other locations is delicious, but this fuzzy’s was so dirty, I still can’t believe I actually ate any of the food that I ordered. First, the floors were filthy. Next, there was not a single table clean in the establishment but yet there was at least open seating for 20 people. It was a little busy, but not very. Our food wasn’t as slow as some of the other reviews I have read, but in the 30 minutes we were there not a single employee cleaned a table. I was mortified by the lack of responsibility and pride in their own establishment. I will not eat here at this location again and I suggest you steer clear of this place as well. This one restaurant undermines the entire Fuzzy’s chain.

This is by far the worst Fuzzy’s in their chain! Went there on a Sunday afternoon and placed a simple order — beef quesadillas, grilled shrimp tacos on soft corn tortilla. After waiting 35 minutes for the order, I got my order… the quesadillas were wrong, I ordered ground beef but got shredded beef instead. The bottom of the quesadilla was soggy and inedible. The shrimp tacos were alright but they were on soft flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. At least these were edible. I didn’t complain because I was short on time, I really couldn’t afford to wait another 35 minutes for them to make another quesadilla. In summary, if you’re on your way north on I 35 and get a hankering for some food, DON’T stop at Fuzzy’s. There’s a Taco Bell on the other side of the highway.

Ups — They serve Shiner beer in frosty goblets Downs: — The whole place was a dirty, wet mess — They got our order wrong — Slllllooooow order prep — They let hot food sit out and get stone cold If you MUST try this Fuzzy’s, do NOT do it on a Sunday evening. We should have took one look and turned around to walk out. But we were really hungry and didn’t want Taco Bell. The guy at the register stopped us mid-order to take a phone order. It took them 25 minutes to have our food ready, and our enchiladas sat on the counter for 15 minutes, so they were stone cold when the rest of our food came up. I told them the enchiladas were cold, so they stuck them in the microwave. Should have made new, hot ones. They had two of our orders completely wrong out of four. So I had to wait even longer for them to serve what we ordered. Every table in the place was dirty — even the ones they had just wiped. Our table had a nice puddle of liquid under it. There were ketchup packets dropped in with the lemon wedges for tea and tea filled the silverware trays. They were out of shrimp and fish. «We’re always really busy on Sunday nights,» said the cashier. OK. If you’re always busy on Sunday nights, why not have extra staff on hand to handle the load? Why not order extra food so you can meet demand? It’s clear that this Fuzzy’s location does NOT have it together. I let them know about this experience via their website two days ago. No reply yet. We will not be back.

I needed a step up from fast food on a recent road trip north of the Red River. Fuzzy’s fit the bill. The wait was short and the food was on par with other locations. Granted, I always get the garlic shredded beef on corn tortillas(hard to mess up) and a cup of their beautiful queso. God, I love that stuff.

I lived in southern California for a while and know what a taco shop should be. Fuzzy’s is a decent attempt but falls short.

I was so happy to see Fuzzy taco come to Sanger. Love Fuzzy’s but Sanger’s Fuzzy Taco is not as good as the other Fuzzy taco’s around. Also they do not give you as much food as the other restaurants. So even though I’m live in Sanger, I go to either the Denton or Lewisville Fuzzy Taco.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is a fast-casual restaurant serving Baja-style Mexican food in a fun, energetic atmosphere. They offer indoor as well as patio seating, and specialties include fish tacos, nachos, burritos, queso, and ice-cold beer They are open breakfast thru dinner, and provide amazing service whether your picking up take out or having your meal there. I have tried at least 2 things from every menu category and have yet to be disappointed by a single thing! Fuzzy’s is also really great about leaving off what you dont want on your taco, etc(If you don’t like cilantro, ask for it off). They’ll answer any questions you might have. The place is ran by a innovative and caring manager an you can see that reflected in the service. Coming home from work? Grab some take out for home. Family outing that won’t break the bank? How bout a Fuzzy’s night? Girls night with amazing margaritas, beers, or «Fuzzy-driver»? Sure! And grab some white-cheddar queso while your at it. I truly am a fan!
