I was excited to check this place out, and wasn’t disappointed. The owners were really pleasant, and got us our drinks really quickly. I thought it was great that they make their food in house, but would like gluten free options. I do understand that can be hard though. I’ll be back for sure.

The coffee and food were definitely yummy, but what makes me really love this place is the unique décor, laid-back vibe, and super friendly baristas. Would be a great spot to get some work done or hang out with friends. And check out the bathrooms!

Cool coffee shop /café /record store. I like that there’s lots of seating and a large wrap around bar. The décor is interesting and odd. I do wish they’d get rid of the rack of hats… something about having a rack of hats in a coffee shop /café seems gross to me. They used to have a more minimal décor, but they recently added a bunch of cheesy centerpieces to tables and«grandma» sort of furniture. I don’t like it. Anyway, the coffee is good, and so is the tea. I do wish they’d keep the music on a more mellow channel… having the red hot chili peppers blaring in an echoey building isn’t chill. All in all, I think this place is the beat coffee shop in Sanford though.

This was a great place to kill a few hours while I waited for a friend to land at the Sanford airport. I had a candied plum tart and it was super tasty and a few Americos. The staff was friendly and it was fun to watch the happenings around on a Friday afternoon. Live music at night was super good and the baker had stuff going the whole time I was there which smelled amazing! Worth a stop!

This place is my new favorite café. The cuban sandwish is the best I’ve ever had, the coffee and desserts are out of this world. Highly recommended, you will Not be disappointed, I promise. They also have a very nice record/vinyl selection for sale. Located at the corner of 2nd St. and Palmetto in Sanford, Fl.

Had a great time here, Gem in sanford. Talked to the gentleman about music, coffee and food is fantastic. Will recommend to anyone for a nice chill date or hangout. Records are always a plus and catch some live bands as well.

The Cuban Coffee was GREAT, among the best I’ve ever had. Great LP/Vinyl selection to look at and purchase if interested. Will be back very soon. I will spread the word and tell people to stop by.

This is a great, chill spot. Coffee. Records. Live music occasionally. I admit I’ve said, at times, that Sanford doesn’t have much to offer. This is a definite plus of Sanford. Come here and read, chill, meet up with a friend. Coffee is not amazing, but is good. I’m having an iced mocha today. I’ve had other beverages on past visits and they’ve all been decent. There are a lot of couches and tables and chairs and even a horse-shoe shaped bar to sit at. The service is great and employees all very nice. If you’re in Sanford and want some java(does anyone call it that anymore lol), stop in to Rabbitfoot’s!

A nice approach to open space coffee houses. With a record collection you can browse and make purchases to getting your own record press. If that was all there was to the shop it would be cliché’ but the coffee and tea selection is great and the staff remembers you and your preference even after just one visit. I’m already in love with the place!

Great spot for coffee and tea. Didn’t try the food, but the espresso is good. I am from NYC and was just in town visiting family, so I was quite surprised Sanford had a place on this level. The atmosphere is cool and seems like a great place to just relax and spend some time while drinking a latte.

Great coffee! Hubby and I had a café con leche that rivals any Miami cafeteria. Lovely barista, who was welcoming and informative when asked about the neighborhood. Great vibe and a nice community feel. Will go back!

As I approached the Rabbitfoot Records and Coffee Lounge, I didn’t know what to expect– what I should brace myself for, what I should embrace. Parking on the side of a building that looked like a warehouse, and stepping out of my car to a contraceptive strewn on the ground– I was once again tossed back into the nostalgia that is the growth of this generation: not giving a damn while trying to make a difference. Upon entering Rabbitfoot, the décor I would describe as minimalist– leather sofas, chalk boards and peeling wall paint, as well as high ceilings, record bins and a mic, it had the feeling of an urban apartment thrown into the middle of Sanford growing through growth, an artists studio perhaps. The ruby of Seminole is apart of Rabbitfoot and it interpreted that vibe perfectly. I ordered the JackRabbit Latté. As I awaited my drink– a gentlemen I’ll describe as grunge, unhesitatingly blew vapor smoke into target circular shapes– I remembered going to places like these as a child in the city but never had I fully looked at it, as an adult you see it as it is– a slight reflection of the cities personality. As Rabbitfoot Records grows more, I’d like to see its menu grow as well. I like the entire vibe and I can definitely see the artistry that reflects its personality and the schema that patrons are thrown into; a minimalist urban recording studio. This establishment can be a great gem and the JackRabbit Latté is one of its best hits in my personal opinion. As I sat in the parking lot writing this review, I noticed one of the best staples about a great recipe iced latté– it never got watery.

I am rubbing my rabbit foot keychain to help me solve my problem. My problem: I do not live closer to Rabbitfoot. The moment my friends and I walked in, I was impressed and in love with this shop. A cool, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly barista greeting us; couches grouped together nicely along the shop’s windows and café tables further into the shop; boxes of vinyl records organized neatly in lines in one large corner of the shop. My friends and I made a direct visit Rabbitfoot after seeing it as a hot, new coffee shop in the area after a long day of traveling. We sat at the bar – something that is so original and fun and that I have never seen at a coffee shop – and ordered a dirty chai, a regular coffee, and a Jackrabbit. I asked Kendra – who we soon discovered was one of Rabbitfoot’s owners – what the Jackrabbit was. Noting it was the shop’s signature drink, she said it was made with coffee, espresso, a little sugar, and cream. I asked if she could make it with milk, and Kendra got to work after making my friend a dirty chai. One sip and I was in coffee and flavor heaven. I love the plain(plainer than syrup coffees but with a little more something than black coffee) yet flavorful and unique taste it has. I was addicted after than first sip. I am not one for iced coffee, but I would order the Jackrabbit every day if I could.(How much does it cost to live in Sanford? I could stop in to Rabbitfoot everyday…) Sipping our deliciousness, we chatted with Kendra and were joined by her husband and co-owner Donavan. She told us about the shop, which is actually a converted car garage, newly updated with painted time ceilings and half exposed-brick walls. I took in the setting and I could not stop myself from slurping my Jackrabbit down(My friends were more disciplined and nursed their beverages. The dirty chai was commented to be one of the best she’s ever tasted.) Kendra is an excellent barista and takes time with each beverage she crafts. She is also supremely kind and thoughtful. I mentioned that we were visiting because my cousin was getting married near there the next day, and Kendra said if my cousin would like she would do coffee for the entire bridal party, whatever they would like. I was so grateful and appreciative of her gesture, as my cousin was too when I told her! After ordering another Jackrabbit to go(do not judge), I perused the bins of vinyls. Donavan told me as I looked that they could cut their records or order any special ones if they did not have it in the shop. He stated that he and Kendra go by an online site for records to gage prices and the two work to give their patrons a better price than the site. The shop can do custom orders and ship them right to your home, too. If you cannot find something in the shop(though I doubt you will not), then Kendra and Donavan will work to get it for you, all the while running an outstanding coffee shop. The only downside to Rabbitfoot – and a very slight one at that – is that it does not have fat free or skim milk, only whole.(Soy and almond milk are also offered.) I found my Jackrabbit(all right, my two Jackrabbits – again, do not judge) to be perfect and not too heavy or too much. I thoroughly enjoyed it(and the second one). Support local, drink fantastic coffee, meet talented and kind baristas, flip through stacks of vinyls. Original coffee in an original and unique shop. It is defined by crafting excellent beverages and providing outstanding customer service with a relaxing and vintage feel. You will be hopping and quite happy like me once you visit! I am really hoping my cousin invites me back soon so I can go back to Rabbitfoot!

Not my favorite coffee shop. It’s not very clean. Not sure if they are going through a construction period, but from the condition of things behind the bar, I wouldn’t feel comfortable ordering food from their make shift kitchen. It’s a great concept, but I need a little less grunge. My coffee was just ok as well. Sorry! Wanted to love it, but they fell short.

Bottom line — probably the best latte I have had in Central Florida. The coffee scene in Central Florida is growing which is definitely a good thing. Orlando has several excellent shops for a good cup and a nice atmosphere. But if you travel a bit further north to Sanford you will find a strong contender for best cup in the area at Rabbitfoot. The coffee is excellent and the baristas are very friendly. They also have managed to add a unique angle by combining coffee, food, and vinyl music. Overall, if you are in Sanford and looking for a good cup you can’t go wrong with Rabbitfoot. Highly recommended

I’m not in Sanford all that often but their downtown strip has a good number of must-visit locations. I’d say that Rabbitfood Records is a great addition to an area that already has some cool spots — Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Café, Wondermade and the Imperial Wine Bar(Washburn Imports) just to name a few. Rabbitfoot is off of the main street but don’t let that deter you! It still gets a comfortable amount of traffic and you won’t feel awkward hanging out in there. In fact, the staff is very welcoming and friendly which well help make things less awkward if there aren’t many people in there. The ambience is relaxing and if I were still a student, I’d hang out in here to get some school work done. The music isn’t too loud and neither are their regular visitors. The coffee is decently made and the food isn’t too bad. I’d like to try more stuff on their menu before I comment on it though. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be sure to swing by to hang out for a bit and grab a cup of coffee.

Friendly staff! Great atmosphere and music. Love the old school records/music they play. Food is great and mostly made to order. This is actually a great study place and hangout spot. Late hours. I would recommend not studying during rush hours.

I just stopped in for the first time and I was seriously impressed. The place has a great vibe and the space is an open and classic, brick-walled jazz café, but also plays classic rock and modern alt stuff too. I made a point to try their omelet and their coffee, with another«Cuban» coffee to top it off. All of it was delicious and priced right. I’ll definitely be making this a frequent place for drinks and spending time.

Oh goodness, I could give this place some stars! I am not sure what magic is in the air here, but I loved everything about this place. To start, it has this delicious small town coffeehouse feel that is hard to find when places get too popular. It’s just a genuine feeling. There are sofas and little tables. There are lots of unfinished corners, exposed brick, and a «u» shaped bar area. I am not sure why, but all of this just works for me. You can have it dessert, wine, and coffee here. I suggest you have all of them! They also serve food. I had a delicious café au lait, smooth, sweet, and milky. I have not been here to see a live show, but I understand there are bands that play in the space. Can’t wait to come back here and flip through their vinyl and sit around all day eating and drinking something wonderful. Very dreamy place!

If you’re looking for great coffee, food and atmosphere, then you should definitely check out this place. I came here after a long day of running errands and I was very relaxed. I ordered their Jackrabbit iced coffee and had a Cuban Sandwich to accompany it and they both tasted great. I’m from Miami, which is the base of Cuban food, and Rabbitfoot’s Cuban sandwich has came the closest to what a Cuban sandwich should taste like in the Orlando area. The staff their are very social and tries to get to know their customer as best as they can. The environment is very mellow and chill. Since they just opened recently and being that it is Summer, the coffee shop may seem a little empty, but I can predict that it will start booming with coffee fanatics and those who love studying in a relaxed environment during the Fall season. They also have a great collection of records, so for all you music lovers, you should definitely check it out and add more records to your collection. Overall, I was very pleased with this coffee shop. Seeing that they just recently open and already have me hooked to their place, imagine how amazing this place will be as they grow and become more successful.
