Tried them because they were in our parking lot for lunch one day at work. I had the Pittsburgher which was just OK. I was originally going to get the Grouper Rueben until I saw someone else get it in front of me — it looked pretty small. Fish is expensive you I can understand that. They only took orders two at a time and then cooked just those two. This caused a long wait between every two people. In my case this ended up being about a 35 minute wait with only 6 people in line in front of me. I consider this way too long to wait for an OK tasting $ 8 hamburger. I tried them cause of the other positive reviews but it fell short of my expectations. Although I paid with cash I did see they were taking plastic too.

Had a couple items from this truck. Everything is good and the operator is very cool.

Solid food truck. Had Curbie’s for the first time at a FAVO this summer. I got the grilled cheese burger and it was a beast. It’s actually a quarter pound of beef, not a half pound, but it’s still huge and delicious. I am a fan of this food truck and we are looking forward to trying some of their other menu items.

GRILLEDCHEESEBURGER! Half pound of beef, bacon, lettuce and tomato between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches $ 6. My companion also added extra pickles to his. It was a delicious mess! Ooooh, and the Chicago Dog. It was truly GINORMOUS and I loved it. Damon uses the all beef hot dogs from Hopkins Meat Packing(uses their Italian sausage, too) which are the best of the best. I’m totally loving Curbie’s! Note: For the best updates on where Curbie’s Sidewalk Café will be next, check out their Facebook page
