We visited the sanford location and it was about 830pm. We got a late start for dinner. We stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes. Got seated sat for about 15 minutes a server came up to us finally and asks us if anyone has been over? Said no. She said oh what’s wrong with these people? Don’t know if it’s her section or not. Anyway we put the drink order and food order in at same time. She had no time to take our order so she rushed through that. Drinks came out then she comes over and asks us if we got salads? Said no. So she brings those out and then our food comes. The food was slopped on the plates and cold. So we hurried n ate salad then our cold food. Didn’t ask us if we were ok just dropped off a check and never returned. My son asked for a box she brought it and grabbed unfinished biscuits that were on a plate n took it to the back. We took home left overs. But aren’t sure if they will re serve those old biscuits that we could of taken home. Or if they throw them away? That’s kind of gross if they re serve them to another table. We tipped the server but she was really lousy. Im sure other ppl wouldn’t of tipped her cuz she was so crappy. Her name is Joan. And we won’t be back after we got treated like crap all the way around. Bad service. Bad food. I don’t know what happened to this place. It’s going down hill.

Very consistent food. For some reason I really like the veggie plate with biscuits. I don’t recommend the meatloaf or open face turkey, but the fish is good and so is their new campfire(seasonal) dishes are really good I highly recommend these over anything else. Can’t go wrong with dumplings or hamburger plate. Pinto’s are good too!

I always like to go to Cracker Barrel mainly for the gift shop. The food is decent. This is actually the first time I have eaten here. Had the lunch special turkey, stuffing and mashed sweet potatoes for 5.99. It was good. Hubby had catfish, rice and broccoli. Good also. The corn bread was a bit dry and bland although the bisquits were good.

Store is really nice! Now restaurant is another thing. Food was not that good. Service… terrible! As soon as food came in not even a minute after server brought us the check. She said«for your convenience» Oh we hate it! What if I wanted order something else like dessert!!! Which was our plan… Or another drink! We ate and left right away and will definitely not come back at all! Not a good taste on my mouth.

Old tyme feel. Great breakfast place. I was told by a friend it is one of the few places she can eat now due to her food allergies. She can’t have any thing dairy oriented. Not even animals that drink dairy. So you can request them to make sure that the food is not cross contaminated by anything including the oil it is cooked in.

Just not a good experience again. This is our 2nd time going hear and both times was not as good as we hoped. Breakfast was ok but not something to go out of your way for. Next time I think we’ll try Bob Evans located in Lake Mary off I4.

This place has really gone downhill. The food USEDTO be delicious with big portions. Now, very skimpy portions and poor quality. Green beans from a can… yuk! Instead of red sauce on the meatloaf, they use ketchup! Even the mashed potatoes weren’t good… they tasted like they just mashed plain potatoes with no butter or milk. Of course, the prices are about the same! Wasn’t impressed with the store either, no items caught my eye.

Four stars for Angelica who noticed me not being taken care of and jumped on it. Very friendly, very polite and she was attentive to my coffee cup being refilled. Uncle Hershel for me, with biscuits, hash brown casserole, eggs over medium and the grilled pork chop(which is probably the least salty of all their meats). It came out quickly and was just as I ordered. Ideal breakfast meal.

Staff is always friendly. Food has been consistently good. Can’t find a meal like that at a cheaper price.

Finally! Everyone has told me how amazing Cracker Barrel is, but I’ve never been able to make it to one. I’m sure glad I finally did! At first I was confused. You walk in the door into the store, then the hostess stand is toward the back. We were seated right away and given menus. Once again, slightly confusing. I just felt like the menus were unorganized and you had to really read it. However, I saw Chicken and Dumplings and knew right away what I wanted! Carol was our waitress and she was sweet as pie and extremely attentive, so she made my first experience great! I also ordered a side salad which came out almost immediately. Nothing special, just lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. With my last bite, our meals came out. I don’t know what was better, the chicken and dumplings or the biscuits. They were both absolutely delicious! I look forward to the next visit!

I’ve always lived this restaurant. I love that I can get breakfast anytime of the day. During this recent trip our waitress I believe her name was Annica… Was very polite and kept check on is very well. My son was asleep so I needed a table with room for the stroller. We were put in a corner with great amount of room. Our meal came out and was delicious as always. They have the double meat breakfast back which I love their bacon so I am happy about that. For dessert we split a slice of chocolate pecan pie. It was so yummy and served warm. Also came with ice cream which we opted for on the side. I love that they have the old country store to shop before or after as there are so many unique things to purchase. My son loves sitting outside and playing the checkers too. Have to peeeeel him away from there. There’s a Cracker Barrel at most major rest stops for your next trip too.

Food is ok and service is not bad, not bad place to eat and prices are reasonable but you get no fee refills on Orange juice witch makes me mad, just about everywhere you go you get free refills. The place was not busy for a Wednesday, asked the manager in charged about it and his response was” no there is no free refills” …okay I guess I wont be back. Bacon was hard and eggs were nothing special, the only good thing here was the pancakes and hash brown casserole. I was attended to really quick and service was fast but overall I don’t feel like refills should be charged at any place. Avoid refills, bring your own drinks

Was able to walk in and get seating @ noon on a Sunday, not always possible at some locations! Great food, great prices, great service — what more could one ask for???

I enjoy this place when you want to have some home style country cooking. I opted for the lighter side this time. They have a section on their menu for under 500 calories! I ordered the egg sliders with a serving of fruit. This is a great option for lunch! Meals are around $ 6 – 8 dollars each and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like :)

I really like the old time-y country feel of the place. Granted, on weekends there is always a crows, but somehow they move things along pretty quickly. I always have breakfast when I go; the Old Timer’s Breakfast is at the top of my list. However, the chicken and dumplings is awesome comfort food since my grandmother is no longer cooking Sunday dinners. Most of the staff is friendly and accommodating — given how ridiculously busy they are, it’s nice that they can still take a few minutes out to chat and make sure you have all you need. I also discovered this past Christmas season that they have awfully cute gifts, reasonable prices, and free gift wrapping. I just wish we had a location closer to us!

Oh Cracker Barrel, even though I loathe the long wait and giant hordes of people that you have on Sundays, your cute country store and consistently good comfort food always draw me in. And it doesn’t hurt that the Sunday special is fried chicken. I’ve been going to this location for probably 15 some years now. From my experience, it’s always been pretty clean and service is good. I have lots of nice memories of dining here with family and friends. I guess you could say it’s like a tradition to come here, or any Cracker Barrel for that matter — no matter what state or city you are in, it kinda feels like home when you step inside. When on a road trip in the middle of nowhere, you have to admit you get excited when you see that familiar highway sign. Is the food amazing? No, but it’s pretty darn good for the price.
