Research this place. It has been on the news more than once(see KUTV Get Gephardt) for taking the customer’s money and not returning their computer.

BEWARE: This computer repair shop’s advertisement that«$ 49 fixes any computer» is a scam. The $ 49(which is paid up front) is to fix software problems only and no refund is given if the problem is hardware only. Plus, the only«fixing» that is done is to wipe the hard drive and reinstall OS and drivers.

Good guy. Met him through the Sandy Chamber. He buys all of these surplus computers from businesses and school districts and resells to schmucks like me. He knows his stuff and has an employee that seems every bit as competent as himself. They’ve got a bone yard from which they can salvage just about any part you could imagine. They stand behind their work. They’ll make things right with you. You may end up needing hardware and that’s additional unless they can find something to swap out for you. I think they’re a great value and provide great service. I believe they’re into their fourth year in business which indicates I’m not their only customer. If you’ve got an issue, you can trust these guys. They’ll take good care of you. That’s why A.C.E. Computers Solutions is «Mike Olsen Approved!»
