I’ve been to this location numerous times. Five min from my house so it’s a quick fix for me. Typical as any longhorn goes; western theme décor, family environment, and average food. Service is always nice and personable, never really busy so waiting isn’t a problem. I always get the 8 oz filet medium rare with a baked potato. Not spectacular, but good and fulfills my steak urge if I don’t want to cook a steak or leave the area for one. I also have tried the salmon with an asianesque sauce with a pineapple onion relish medium. It was seared nicely and not overcooked but it was a little too sweet for my liking and I would have been happier with more pineapple and less sauce. The bread is ok, I love butter so I eat it but I always regret consuming the calories seeing that I’m not in love with it. As any chain restaurant pretty much goes you know what to expect even though it may be mediocre you still go lol.

Food was fantastic and the only good thing about the experience. We walked in at 9 to find the hostess stand empty, the majority of the tables needing bussing and a stale smell in the air. After asking for a booth we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Once seated we were not served for another 5 minutes and it took another 5 for our sweet teas to be delivered. The bread took another 5 – 10 minutes. The food took awhile, as it always does but the porterhouse for two was delicious. The add-on shrimp was bland and the sweet potato a little over done. While the server was polite and nice, she was slow and forgetful. We never saw a manager and the staff seemed to amble around doing whatever they pleased including one guy that stood at a table talking to a lady for well over ten minutes, all the while there were tables needing bussing.

This is my first time going to Steakhouse and it was great! When we went during the night with our party of nine the place was already packed with party of 40, our hostess they notified us that it will probably be awhile since they had a big party already which we didn’t mind waiting. Our server she was very nice and cheerful. If this is your first time getting a steak in their menu they have a little information tells you different types of steak and also explain the difference ways of cooking a steak(like rare, med etc.) They offer you many types of side, I have try their new side dish which was spinach in cheese mixed together which was pretty amazing because i am not a fan of spinach but I took a chance. They also have a kids menu which also includes the steak at a great price. All the night we win it was a birthday party and the waiter brought out this Sundae with ice cream and cake which was amazing! And if you got it at a regular price it seems worth it because it’s big and it’s a shareable dessert because we all shared it and 9 of us all took a bite. This was a great place and a great experience with steak.

Ok clean classic steak restaurant, food is about no differences compared to other places, generally ok. Three stars because waitress was nice, the other waitresses were a little impatient. Had a ribeye and if was almost half fat, a little disappointed. 2.5 stars.

Corporate social media rep contacted me asking if a gift certificate would work to remove my review. Yes but $ 10 towards a failed $ 40 dinner doesn’t work…

It has probably been 8 years since I was last at a LongHorn steakhouse but I recently went with my husband because we received a gift card and we had a nice experience at this location. Décor is what you would expect at a steak restaurant chain but it was surprisingly very updated. The restaurant was clean, had a health score of 94, and the crowd was a very diverse sampling of groups of all ages: from young couples, to families, to the elderly. The food here was perfectly fine. My chicken fingers and fries weren’t out of this world but they were just what I expected. I ordered the«lighter» portion and even that size was a very generous portion with 5 chicken fingers and a boatload of fries. And although they gave my husband a medium well steak instead of a medium, we didn’t mind too much. I mean, if we were paying $ 40 for a steak we would have most definitely sent it back. But for a $ 17 steak with a side of shrimp/rice, salad, and one side, you can’t really complain. Did I mention that all their entrees come with a salad and choice of one side? Maybe I need to visit chain restaurants more often! Service was really great even though the restaurant was filling up with dinner patrons. Our server even asked if we wanted an additional loaf of bread because, well, we are fatties and gobbled the first one right up. When my husband said yes, it was brought out promptly without any fuss. FYI the location is right at an intersection on Roswell Road and turning in from the other direction can be a bit awkward.

We went with my in-laws and they ordered t-bones. My mother-in-law’s t-bone was BURNT from one side, but she did get a new t-bone. But the fact that they serve it BURNT was unexpectable. My father-in-law’s was dry after he had order his t-bone medium. My husband’s steak was too under cooked after the fact that he also ordered his medium.

Had the 11 ounce rib eye, it was at least half fat. The manager tried to make up for it by bringing a second one, but that one had at least the same if not fat then the first. The sides(potatoe and Mac n’ cheese) was very good, but the service also ran at a crawl.

I have eaten here twice in the last couple of months. The food is great and the service is decent. The last time I ate there, the lady that serviced on us was simply awesome. I recommend this place for any time of the day.

Our waitress was very nice but she got our order wrong. I changed my mind and ask a side of brocolli when she was taking our order and she brought out salad instead. I loved all the sides like the ceasar salad, baked potato, mashed sweet potato, and fries. I used the salmon which was okay. It wasn’t as flavirful as I wanted it.

For some reason, this place has a weird smell when you first walk in. I can’t describe it but if you blind folded me and took me here and said«guess where we are?» I’d say«Longhorns on Roswell Rd». I only like the Longhorns in Alpharetta

This LongHorn has been here a long time and honestly it is Excellent and sometimes its just the worst. Its really a hit or miss. Usually when I go to Long Horn I am on the market for some steak. But the last few times I have been they have not cooked my steak right. I dont think the cook knows the temps on steaks as well as he/she should. But last time I went even though the food was not on point their service was on point.(usually is anyways) My boyfriend had spilled an alcoholic beverage all over the place and less than 10 seconds after a waitress(who was not even our waitress) came to our rescue and helped us clean it all up and gave us a brand new drink. by the way… watch out… their drinks are strong…(not that its a bad thing)(:

I ordered a 6 oz. Flo’s Filet Medium well with a Parmesan crust and mashed potatoes. Only complaint was not telling them to hold the butter on the mashed potatoes and getting it on the side instead, but that was my fault. The steak was cooked as I asked. Be warned, the Parmesan crust is thick, I liked it but others may not want it that thick. The olive salad dressing is good if you like green olives as I do.

Breakfast wasn’t too bad for being at the airport and the service was quick. Our meal was cheap but my mimosa cost more than the entire meal.

I had a great experience from Wednesday’s OTP Unilocal Event at Long Horns that I brought my family with me for dinner tonight. I really enjoyed the sweet corn fritters at the event. Since they gave us a coupon for free appetizer, I ordered one sweet corn fritters for the table. Tonight’s corn fritters were bit disappointed. It was sweet at all and not much corn bits in the fritters. My family didn’t like it. Green salads that came with the steaks were delicious as last time. Raspberry vinegarette dressing is what makes the salad delicious. It’s sweet and tangy at the same time. Steaks were disappointing at first. My parents’ porterhouse was cooked beautifully but he complained that it’s bit chewy.(It’s his teeth). My sirloin was undercooked, my sister’s was overcooked. However, they fixed it right away and the manager came out personally and fixed the steaks. The second time, steaks were cooked perfect and tasted deliciously as well. So I’m happy. I came here also for the Pumpkin Lava Cake. I’m not a pumpkin person but this dessert is heavenly. The cream cheese melts in your mouth. *drool* Overall, there were hits and misses but lastly, I walked out happy so I’m giving it a 4 stars instead of 3. Mistakes happen as long as they fix it, I’m good.

«I’d like to take you out for a steak dinner» — Catch Me If You Can(2002) Sometimes you just end up going to a chain. Low key, easy in and out, predictable. What I like about Longhorn is the food is decent, they update the menu and they always cook the steaks properly. This was my first visit to this location. My mom and I were hungry, in no mood to cook and we just wanted something simple. She wanted fish, and I felt steak was the way to go. We walked in and were seated immediately. We had drinks within 5 minutes and placed our order. Our food came out in a timely fashion, it was well-prepared, and tasty. Our server was attentive and our drinks were kept filled and we were asked if we needed anything regularly without being annoying. I’d come back — this is in my hood and glad it’s there when it’s needed.

I went to Longhorn’s for lunch two days ago for a variety. I had not been to a steakhouse of their cuisine for sometime. I, being alone, chose the bar seating for several reasons: the stools are higher than the conventional tables(which is easier for my knees); place settings were set at each stool inviting individuals to seat themselves; others were already at the bar, and lastly, I didn’t feel like I was intruding on the bartender’s alcohol-consuming business like at other restaurants. Further, the host had not acknowledged my entering into the establishment when he was preparing to seat people ahead of me and I did not want to wait on him to return. For lunch, I had my mind set on a steak but the prices were just a bit too high for lunch for me, so I settled on the soup and salad option along with their hot bread. All in all, I got out of there for around ten bucks including tip. Not bad for my first return to Longhorn’s in several years. I’ll be back.

J got a gift card to LongHorn a few months ago, and kept saying that we needed to use it. So when we got a last minute opportunity for a Valentines date, and had no reservations, it made sense to just go ahead and use it. We got LongHorn around 7 pm on a Friday Valentine’s Day. It was packed. The entire entryway and area surrounding the hostess stand was packed with people, including several families with young children. We put our name in(they don’t take reservations, but they do take call aheads, but I’m not exactly sure how that works) and were told 35 minutes or so. No buzzers — they walk around and find you. In the mean time, J was parking the car(the lot was completely full, so he parked in the shopping center lot just across the side street). When he arrived, we bellied up to the bar, which had 4 draft beers to choose from and a dozen or so bottles. We intended to wait for a table, but halfway through my beer, I suggested we just eat at the bar, since I was too hungry to wait for a table and then service. The bartenders were hustling to take care of everyone, which included several regulars, as well as take out orders. They were pleasant and kept things moving. I can see why people would be regulars. I got the Flo’s filet with merlot roasted mushrooms and a side salad. J got the rib-eye with side salad and french onion soup. Both of these orders incurred a slight upcharge, which the bartender warned us about when confirming our order. Bread and butter arrived shortly thereafter. Salads were simple with fresh ingredients(iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, shredded carrot and cabbage, shredded cheese, croutons). I’d ordered my filet medium-rare, and it was pinker than I’d prefer. There was a sauce with the mushrooms, which I used sparingly. The steak and mushrooms were decent, though not terribly flavorful. J’s rib-eye was slightly overcooked. He said the french onion soup was pretty good, but could’ve used some more char on the cheese. In short, it was a good experience that I would happily repeat if given another gift card. The friendly service set it apart from the otherwise decent but common chain food.

I went there knowing this was a chain restaurant. I’m usually not one for typical chain restaurant but I haven’t been to a LongHorn in over 5 years and wanted to check it out. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. We started off by having the Lobster and Shrimp Dip which was fairly good. Then came the salad which was drowning in Cesar dressing. When I told the server about it, he said«It happens all the time» and he voluntarily brought me a new one. Then the Chicken and Portabella plate came out and I was EXTREMLY disappointed again! It was smothered in this overwhelming mushroom sauce! I’m not sure why they think they need to drown their foods in sauces! The sweet potato was good but my friend’s mashed potatoes were tasteless and the steak was as dry as a bone! The manager did walk by and picked up our plates and asked how everything was. I told him our issues with the food and he didn’t really say anything to fix the situation! Instead he gave us his name and said«in the future, if you have an issue with your plate, you know who to call». All I can think to myself is «To be honest sir, there won’t be a next time in this establishment but thank you». Definitely not good customer service… very disappointed…
