Absolutely DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend. $ 8 for an 8 inch pizza and $ 10 for a 12 inch. The Mediterranean hush puppies are my favorite.

I moved back to the ATL recently and thought I’d pay Sandy Springs a visit. This place already had alot of solid Unilocal reviews, and the interior looked pretty nice; so the outlook of this random choice was promising from the beginning. All in all, this place did not disappoint. My friends and I got the meatball appetizers and 2 specialty 12″ pizzas(the Great White Clam & the Mass Pike). This was for a table of three pretty hungry guys, and we were decently full by the end of it. Appetizer: Rob’s Famous Meatballs with Ricotta($ 8) Despite the name, I couldn’t figure out anything ‘famous’ about it. It was pretty good still; so I’m willing to concede that my disappointment was simply from the name. Then again, $ 8 for 3 meatballs is pretty steep. Pizza #1: Great White Clam($ 19) This is a white pizza with chopped clams, mushrooms, and Italian sausage for toppings. The sausage added a hint of spice to it, but I’m def not expecting sausage in a clam pizza; it kinda took some of the spotlight away from the clams. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the flavorful clam in each bite. Dropping the sausage completely and adding more clams throughout would make this pizza go from ‘great’ to ‘spectacular’ imo. I’d order it again. Pizza #2: Mass Pike($ 16) This is their pink pizza(ie. a mix of their red and white sauces) with cheeses, capicola, Italian sausages, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms. You can’t go wrong with those classic pizza toppings; so this is considered a pretty ‘safe’ choice on the menu. With that said, it was pretty good. Throwing some pepper flakes in there made it really good(imo since I love spicy foods). If you need a point of comparison, think Anticos but just a little cheaper(I’d give Anticos a 5). Even though the food was a little pricey, we had a very good dining experience. The food tasted great overall. Our waiter was super cool and really helpful when we had questions about the items on the menu. I’d go again if I’m in the neighborhood.

Love the arugula salad and the bar drinks are doe well. Pizzas are tasty and you can’t go wrong. The wait is annoying, they should take phone ahead reservations.

This place is great. Walking up I was a bit hesitant to go in, but once you walk in, the atmosphere is great. I’m in town for business and was looking for a low key drink and take out food. I sat down at the bar, ordered the specialty apple mule while I waited for my carry out order and was not disappointed. It was refreshing and delicious. I ordered the brussels sprout appetizer and chicken coupe de ville pizza. Both were delicious but I have to commend the brussels sprouts for being top notch, and after a short drive to my hotel. The lighting is darker, the vibe is cool, and the bartender was super friendly and made me feel comfortable sitting at the bar by myself. Next time I’m in town I will definitely be back.

Yes, I came in during awkward lunch time(at 2:30 pm), where servers were on a break and only two other tables were filled. But that shouldn’t decrease the quality of service. Although the servers were not necessarily unfriendly, they were just slow and inattentive. There were quite a few times where we tried to get our server’s attention, but failed. Food, on the other hand was really good. My absolute favorite was fish and chips. Wow. To be honest, I don’t remember when was the last time I had really good fish and chips before this place. Pizzas were delicious and good portioned too. I could easily finish the small size pizza and be content. The veggies on pizza were fresh and well-balanced: not too much, not too little. But again, fish and chips — the best! I will definitely come back for that! I like the location and how it’s situated in a shopping center with a huge parking lot. With the large sized patio, this could be a cool chill-spot to grab beers and munchies.

This place was surprisingly empty for lunch. Maybe they just cleared everyone out because they knew I was coming, and wanted to give me special attention. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. The pizza was delicious, but the highlight of the show was the mac and cheese for me. This was some of the best Mac and Cheese I’ve had in a long time. The service was really good! Fast and friendly. Very patient with all the questions. Kept drinks filled, food came out when it should, getting the check and paying was a breeze, just an all-around good time. The décor is nice, and the dining area is very clean. This is a classy place to eat classy Pizza. Price point is on the high side, but the value for my experience was good. They do a great job the service, and in the kitchen. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Good food and atmosphere with patio. Small restaurant so arrive early. Average wait 15 – 25 minutes on normal nights. Yes I tell all as it is good to know such as restrooms are singles so careful drinking too much or you may find yourself holding it in for 5 – 10 minutes…

Great atmosphere, and delicious food. What more can you ask for? Well, maybe faster service. It wasn’t extremely slower or anything, but for a weekend night there was no sense or urgency. The whole process(being seated, getting drinks, eating, paying, leaving) probably took around an hour and a half.

Some amazing pizza served up right here in Sandy Springs. I love the neopolitan style, super thin crust with amazing cured meats and ingredients. Add the arugula salad to it and you’ve got quite a meal — probably enough for two people to share. Service is also very good here but you will have to deal with a fairly crowded place, especially during lunch. Parking can also be a bear at this shopping center with the other businesses and Whole Foods taking up most of the spaces.

This place is highly over rated and not worth your time. Turn around now, and find something else. First of all, the beer is incredibly over priced($ 8.50 for a pint of a local brew?) The bar tenders were only making drinks for tables while we were waiting at the bar, and it took us at least ten minutes to get a drink. Second, the hostess informed us that we would have a 30 minute wait, which was true, and normally I’m fine with that. But at she sat there chewing gum and twirling her hair, our party noticed ten empty tables(that’s not an exaggeration). How does your restaurant have a 30 minute wait with that many open seats? I asked if we could sit at some high tops next to the bar, and was informed that that was not an option. We were eventually seated, but there was no reason for the wait. Third, the lay out. It looks like they tried to cram as many long tables into the restaurant as possible, but didn’t have a plan on how it would work. You’re always climbing over people to get anywhere in this place. The worst part about this was that they weren’t even seating large parties at the tables. Instead, they put small groups to sit down communal style. If that’s what you’re going to do, why just have smaller tables so people can move around and have a little bit of comfort. Fourth, the pizza isn’t really that great. I’ve seen people go gah gah over the coupe de’ville chicken, but honestly, it’s not all the special. We ordered two different pizzas, both were mediocre. It tasted like the chefs decided to put as many spices and and flavors together and call it something special. I mean, they weren’t bad, but not $ 20 worth. Really, if you’re going to spend money on quality pizza, this is not the place to go. Save yourself the disappointment and walk away.

One of my dearest friends lives in Sandy Springs so what better excuse than to have a girls lunch at s place I’ve been wanting to try! Upon entering the restaurant you notice the outdoor area which is quite large so I will defiantly be back when it warms up. The restaurant had a nice flow to it and gave off a nice low key vibe. There is a long bar on the right side that has tvs on the wall then in the middle are tables and booth line the wall. The booths are very private and gives you a loungy feel instead busy restaurant feel. We choose to sit in a booth, they were not busy so we sat ourselves. We were soon greeted by a waitress with menus– the menus are very cool! They are on a clipboard and layered so you can see the different sessions of the menu. I liked the rustic look of the clipboards! Now the important part– the FOOD!!! We ordered the Simply Red and Pesto Pizza. I figured you can’t go wrong with ordering their classic pizzas. The Simply Red has red sauce and cheese but, don’t let the simplicity fool you because the dough is handmade and cooked to perfection then the pizzas cheese is Devine! You can tell they use quality cheese and not cheese greasy cheese. We also ordered the Pesto pizza that has pesto, spinach, cheese and pine nuts. This was my favorite pizza because it had a great fresh taste from the pesto and the added pine nuts was a great added touch of crunch! While the toppings were great the crust was the star because it was chewy but crispy!!! I brought home leftovers and my husband finished them off immediately! This place is a must of you want a great low key environment and amazing pizza!!!

Not bad! Came here for lunch during work. The placed served us quickly, considering it was busy time during work. Lots of outdoor seating and lots of inside seating too. The place has a lot of options besides pizza such as sandwiches and burgers. I ordered The Cure. This has italian sausage, bacon, cheese, and on marinara sauce. This was my favorite so far! I also tried the Mass Pike, which has ricotta cheese, with pesto sauce on it. I am a fan of the marinara sauce, so the Cure is my favorite so far.

Omg. This place has THE best pizza. We got the cure pizza(all meats) and the«Brookie brownie». The pizza was cooked to perfection and the brownie was sooooooo delightful. There were 3 small brownies with cookies baked on top and salted caramel ice cream on top of THAT! Hey, you won’t be disappointed! Promise!

Excellent ‘Zas. Please note, contrary to what other Unilocalers have posted, this pizza joint DOESNOT offer deep-dish pizzas. Crust is crunchy and very tasty. Plenty of meat on The Cure. Loved the Atlanta Sausage Co sausage on it as well. The Anchor Summer Wheat ale was a good pairing as well.

Outdated menus.(See Deborah below) Some drinks no longer offered. Menus were like old pizza hut menus. OVerall atmosphere felt like I needed to be old and a big drinker to be there. We ordered calamari as the appatizer and it was very greasy and over fried. Small pizza was OK but for a $ 1 per topping they were scarce. Extremely dark inside and it appears there are many regulars. At the bar. We will pass until it changes hands for the upgrades it needs so badly.

Met a friend for dinner at hearth a few nights ago. First impression the place has limited indoor seating. There are about 8 booth and then some table right in the middle of the restaurant/walkway. I preferred a booth but none were available. We ended up sitting outside on the patio. My friend got a speciality pizza I forget the name — maybe fun guy? — it had turkey sausage and fennel. I tried it thought it was ok but she really liked it. I did a make your own pizza with chicken, jalapeño, spinach, and black olives. It was yummy! The small was slightly larger than personal pan pizza but not big enough to share… well I guess you could share but I didn’t want to My friend ordered the brownie dessert which was a pleasant surprise! It was warm and crunchy(I think it has caramel bits in it). I’d go again just for the dessert, but the pizza was good too.

I like the hearth Tavern! It’s a cool little place located at the tail end of a strip plaza, but don’t let looks confuse you! The inside is a perfect layout with a dining option to go outside if you wish, which is perfect for later in the evening. They do offer a nice beer selection with draft and bottles options and they offer a nice wine list as well. The pizza here is fantastic! So many creative pizza pies to try! I had the mass turn pike and I must say, it was tasty, served out with plenty of cheese and fresh toppings covering it! The dough was cooked perfect with a slight black just as a wood fire pie should look like! I’d definitely love to try many of the other options here they offer! The only knock I have here is the staff! There extremely slow to say the least! 15 minutes to receive a draft beer is ridiculously slow and that certainly needs to improve! I’ll stop on back when I’m in the area!

Gourmet pizza. I had the special pear pizza without the prosciutto. It was really amazing. Definitely unlike any pizza I have ever had. It almost tasted like they added honey onto the pizza but it was the sweetness from the pear. Lover man had the steak pizza and loved it. They weren’t stingy with the meat. We also had the Parmesan Truffle Fries which came with a side of truffle aioli sauce… Which is a mayo based sauce. The calamari appetizer sounds so good! That’s what I am having next time! Can’t wait to come back! If you’re craving real good pizza, this is your place!
