Twin Acres has great coffee soft serve and their facility is very clean. For yoga flavors sometimes their flavors are too sweet(coffee toffee). Their season will end by October 19

Super cute place. Great for families. Ice cream was a bit plain tasting. Don’t think they make their own. I generally like ice cream places that do more than just scoop someone else’s ice cream. Not bad, but I was hoping for more.

Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Purple cow is my favorite! Very generous portions!

I love ice cream which is pretty apparent by my Unilocal reviews! It was my first time to Cape Cod and naturally I looked up every ice cream spot within a 20 mile radius. Twin Acres was at the top of the list and I am so glad we made the detour! The ice cream itself was delicious! I ordered a scoop of the Moose Tracks in a sugar cone and it was perfect!!! This may sound odd, but it was the perfect temperature… it melted just the right amount without dripping everywhere. A true ice cream lover will know what I mean! Twin Acres Ice Cream Shoppe is in an adorable building that looks like a converted house. You order your ice cream at the window, but be prepared to be overwhelmed by delicious options. The menu is huge and has a flavor for everyone! Once you decide, you can enjoy your scoop outside. This is a must stop for Cape Cod!

Twin Acres has one of the most lovely settings of an ice cream stand that I have visited, and this significantly influenced my 3 star rating. They have a generous selection of ice cream flavors(40+), sundaes, etc. The servers are friendly and helpful. The ice cream, which is the main draw, is just good, nothing special. Additionally, the serving size is quite small compared to other ice cream shops. The scoops are the size of a tennis ball, the Kiddie is 1 scoop and the Small 2 scoops. The setting is very lovely, but there are better places nearby, specifically Ice Cream Sandwich minutes away.

Stopped here on the way back from Ptown since we needed to hit the bathroom and were getting hungry. There wasn’t much of a line because of all of the traffic so I was able to order right away. They have quite a selection of ice cream flavors, but apparently they are not made in house – which I found to be disappointing. I tried the cake batter ice cream, but did not really like it as it did not have enough flavor for me. I ended up going with the coffee ice cream, which was decent, but very average. Overall, the people that work here are super friendly and pleasant but I was not impressed by the ice cream itself.

One of the best Ice Cream places on Cape Cod! While the ice cream isn’t homemade, they have something like forty or fifty different flavors– it’s crazy. Depending on the day, I’m partial to their Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough or their Coconut Almond Bar. They also have a decent selection of hard-pak frozen yogurt– my favorite is the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip. During the day, this place offers simple sandwiches and chips, if you’re interested, but I’ve never actually gotten them. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out if the weather is nice. They have a huge yard with cool benches and rocks that the kids will want to play on. Can’t reccomend this enough!

Cash only, and the prices aren’t obvious(albeit it is obvious why when you see them — the prices are damn high for ice cream!) Great selection overall, with both hard/scoped and soft serve. There service is great, and there is plenty of space for parking and/or enjoying your ice cream. Great spot in area where ice cream is taken very seriously.

An absolutely marvelous ice cream spot here in Sandwich. Impressively clean anywhere you look and the flavors are just out of this world! Not a spot to just pass by, this is the real deal here.

At last — I have found my ice cream shoppe at home on the Cape! Growing up in Sagamore Beach(just a stone’s throw across the canal from Twin Acres), I surprisingly had only been here once before as a youngin’. Having spent the greater part of my past ten years in-city(Boston and NYC), I’ve tried my share of ice cream places. My choice in Boston — JP Licks. My choice back ‘home’ — Twin Acres. The ice cream is phenomenal. Thick, creamy, sweet — but not too sweet. Fresh made — with love, no doubt. Each bite delivering a healthy dose of dopamine to the nervous system that will have you coming back for more. The flavors are creative and inspiring — salted caramel chocolate pretzel anyone? Just the name should get your mouth watering! Ginger. Bubble Gum. Cotton Candy. Well, those were just the three flavors my pregnant self got in a huge waffle cone for a mere $ 4. That’s right. FOUR dollars! Who says you can’t get anything for less than $ 5 nowadays? They’ve got appetizing offerings in frozen yogurt, sorbet and even some fat-free sugar-free options for those of us keeping an eye on our waistlines. The shop is cute and has been recently redone, fresh pavement and seating. There is no inside — only benches and picnic tables so be prepared for that. The server was fast, f

I am a HUGE fan. They have a large assortment of hard ice cream and some unique sundae options, but my favorite is the peanut butter cup. It is creamy with tons of peanut butter chunks and not too sweet. Every year when our cape vacation ends, I grab a last ice cream for the road and hope that the memories of its deliciousness can keep me going until the next summer. *la sigh They also have a cute set of picnic tables under the trees which is dog friendly! :) CASHONLY
