Stopped in on our way up north for a quick cup of coffee and stretch break! Coffee was great and the lady who owns it was very nice and helpful! We tried a bunch of the macadamia Nuts and they were all amazing :) The frosted chocolate toffee ones were to die for! Definitely stop in and check it out! Also you can buy 100% Kona coffee to brew at home, and everyone knows Kona coffee just taste better ;)

Not only do I love the quality of this 100% Kona coffee… but I love the fact it is 100% American! Kelly and her daughters have created such a darling Tiki COFFEE Bar and are always warm and inviting when we stop by to restock! And the Mac Nuts… HEAVEN! Even now in the summer Kelly’s coffee makes the most delicious iced coffee! Thanks for bringing this delicious coffee to the Mainland for all of us to enjoy! ALOHA!

As an avid Kona coffee drinker, I was delighted when I found Hale Kai Lana. Not only do they have a local spot where I can stop in and get my coffee fix, they also have a wonderful website that I use to order coffee & Macadamia nut gift baskets to sent to family members at Christmas! They also have a coffee subscription service that you can either order for yourself or a friend. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My friend who loves genuine Kona saved a story about this hidden treasure from the Monterey Weekly. We had the pleasure of meeting Kelly who took us on a Kona adventure of a lifetime. She not only sampled out all her delicious flavored Macadamia nuts but sampled different coffee roasts as well. Cant wait to come back!

We ran in between rare California raindrops to join Kelly for cups of Kona brew which included her dark roast and her smoky roast, (beans toasted with the coffee cherry still intact), a unique flavor which you may not taste anywhere else. Kelly gave us a cordial welcome despite the fact that we arrived just minutes before closing. There was something very apropos about our visit that day. It felt like we escaped from a tropical rainstorm and were beamed up to Hawaii. No plane ride required. As we cozied up to a stool at the«tiki bar», Kelly serenaded us with tales of her Big Island life, beans from Kona farmer/friends and uniquely flavored Mac nuts, including wasabi and honey/coconut. The prime perk here is that you’re supporting coffee beans grown in the US, by American farmers. That’s a rarity which we should all support!
