Ross Dress for Less

I love Ross, don’t get me wrong. I’ve been to this one twice and each time they have a pretty great selection. So great in fact, last night my mom and I spent nearly two hours there. We browsed the entire store and had quite a bit in our carts. We were being watched heavily by one of the female employees. She came and checked on us in the dress section, and once again while we were trying on clothes. We didn’t think much of it until we were checking out at the register. She was up front, speaking to the store’s security when she sent someone from Loss Prevention to come check what we were purchasing. The woman looked in our cart, and then turned the cashier’s monitor toward her and browsed the monitor. She laughed, then walked back to the podium where security and the other female employee were standing. Then, they all began somewhat snickering and staring at my mother and I. All the while there were people standing in line behind us. It was so incredibly embarrassing and rude. I understand the need to make sure people aren’t stealing, but don’t be so rude and juvenile about it. If we were stealing, we wouldn’t have left with $ 80 worth of merchandise.
Also, the store was in shambles, which most discount stores usually are. But this was excessive, the girls supposed to be doing closing routine seemed to be more interested in socializing with one another. It was extremely unprofessional and frustrating when you’re trying to navigate through carts full of items needing to go back.
They get one extra star for a good selection, but we won’t be returning to this location.

Went to Ross’s to look around. This location has more selection. I was browsing through some cute tops and found a lavender and white top that came with a matching necklace. Cost of the top was $ 11.99. My daughter picked out two toys that costs $ 5.00 each. I love shopping at Ross’s. So much to choose from.
This location was fairly clean, but there were so many people at this location. The lines went fairly quick. When I went to the register to pay my items, the cashier was quick ringing my items up. I think I paid around $ 40 for everything I got. Not bad.
There is plenty of parking in front of the store. Come here early cause a lot of people are at this location in the afternoon on the weekends. It tends to get crowded and lines can get long. I have been to other Ross’s and there is hardly anything to choose from.

Nada Nada Nada! Ross I could learn to love you if you just brought more to the table. Seriously though they def could use more stock for young adults and toddler. I love the adventure that is Ross. Just need to provide the adventure. Couldn’t hurt to pick up the aisles just a tad.

Worst Ross I have been to. Merchandises are everywhere.

Hey Ladies ITS ROSS NOT MACY’S OR NORDSTROMS :)
I know its messy, disorganized, crowded, hot, screaming kids and all the rest… Perhaps I am just a «seasoned Ross shopper from Long Beach» I am kind of used to it — I psyche myself UP as I walk in the doors — and make sure I have eaten/​gone to the restroom before I go in — sometimes its going to be a wait to get to a cashier. Ross is Ross — Its an experience in itself to shop there. I always get a LOT more than I would from other stores i powershop in Ross. FANTASTIC shift dresses 12.99 — 19.99 each I bought a pile pile of them. Yes a massive selection of dresses — every occassion, style and type AMAZING prices everyone can afford — and they look GOOD! I have been shopping at Ross for years and never had a problem with anything I have purchased — it washes beautifully, it wears beautifully !!! Hey let the «designer label» gals waste their money (I have scored Calvin Klien AND Nordstrom jeans at Ross as well!!) What they sell and how it wears and looks is just FINE with me! I get a lot of compliments on my «Ross» dresses — they have a unique and reasonably priced selection !! They are in the business to sell clothes. I know rock bottom bargains are going to be tough to shop at at imes especially in stores like this but if you have the time you can get GREAT stuff !! I’m a fan !!!

This place is terrible, I walked in looked around and made my way out of there asap. How can they compete with all the stores across the street? How can you work in a mess like that? Who is this Ross?

I don’t like Ross stores! I have yet to go to one that seems organized or well stocked in merchandise that interests me. I’ve heard several times that most people like Ross more than Marshall’s but I am loyal to Marshalls.
