Banana Republic Factory Store

I love BR and I love factory stores! This was on my «to do» list for San Diego, and I did go here twice in a week :)
The staff is friendly and helpful, from helping me find the item or size I was looking for, and also helping me change an item that I accidentally bought the wrong size in (came back with only small part of receipt).
What keeps me from scoring it 5 is that it’s difficult (impossible!) to know the actual prices. On my first visit some shelves were clearly labeled with «sale, 40%», but I also bought a skirt, which I thought would be full price, but turned out to be 60% off. Great that it’s that way, but would be so much better if I knew what to expect.
On second visit, the whole store was 50% sale — awesome!
Apart from having a really good selection of clothes (to really good prices), the clearance section is really good and sorted by size.

If you can put up with the very rude staff, you can find some great deals if you’re lucky.

Rude rude rude staff!!! Absolutely appalled at the way we were treated!!! I left my mom there for 10 minutes, she had forgotten her glasses and was unable to read the shirt label to see if it was 100% cotton. When she asked a sales associate for help, the woman pulled out the tag and thrust it right up in her face saying «there.» My mother informed the woman that she knew where it was but she couldn’t read it without her glasses and that nasty piece of work scoffed at her!!!
I was going to go cuss that woman out for treating my mother’s vision impairment so unprofessional but my mom was already uncomfortable and wanted to leave before we caused a scene. NEVER COMING BACK. Unprofessional rude arrogant staff, steer clear

I really like this store and they always have good sales, but I just am more of a j. crew person. This store has a lot of business suits and business wear so if that’s what you are looking for definitely come here.

I’ve been to this outlet store a few times now and it is one of the better ones forsure! I am a banana fan but sometimes the patterns and cuts are more suitable for older woman… or area rugs.
I love coming in to this location and not only finding great, well made staple items but at a discounted price!
I’ve found great shorts, tops, and accessories! This last time I found a comfy sweater for 30% off and the friend I was with found a couple sweaters and a beautiful coat on sale for 60 originally 140!
If you are visiting these outlets banana is def worth a run through!

Love shopping here… the only drawback?
Sometimes, the place looks like it’s been ravaged.

This was probably my first of many trips to this fabulous factory store. One thing you gotta love about outlets: SALES. Need I say more? I came here with my boyfriend, and their ENTIRE store was 50% off! I’m sure it’s not ALWAYS like that, but I’m also sure they have better sales at outlets anyway. We came here specifically for him to find a look, which he was able to do for around $ 100. They also give a military discount which is great! I love places that give military discounts: it’s nice to give a little back to the people who serve.
Anyway, their style is unique. And although our original intention was to find my boyfriend a look, I also found myself a new perfume and the 50% off brought it down to $ 12! Really sweet deal. I’d love to come back another time.

One time in this store and I have no complaints. As many times as I’ve been to Las Americas I’ve never stepped foot into this store until I needed some chinos and I left with a pair, a tie, a belt, and some perfume for my girlfriend. I wanted to get more stuff but it wasn’t on my list of things to get AND I wasn’t looking to spend any more money… payday didn’t come yet.
Nonetheless, their selection is great and prices are affordable (at least to me… I mean shoot, the entire store’s selection was 50% off). The employees were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work which has always made my shopping experience easier.

Whenever I am down at the outlets I always make it a point to stop in at Banana Republic. I only give it 3 out of 5 stars because at times the store looks like a hurricane just rolled thru with such a mess, they are typically understaffed and some of the clothes in comparison to the regular Banana Republic stores seem cheaper quality. I’ve had really good luck with articles of clothing as well as some really bad luck with others. 3 out of 5 is all they get from me.

Much better selection than in Carlsbad.
Found several pieces of clothing my size– something the Carlsbad store was out of.
Very good.
The only funny thing is — I don’t speak spanish and most of the sales associates try to communicate with you in spanish first– but that never bothers me, so it’s just makes me smile :)

I love this factory store tucked in the corner of the outlet. Please note that if you are a AAA member they give you 10% off on top of whatever the sale price it. I picked up a pair of pants that were 60% off and then they applied my extra 10%…Awesome.

I’ve had a lot of luck at this Banana Republic outlet over the years. They have large clearance and petites sections. Their jewelry sales are also often very good. I hardly ever walk out with nothing.
