Ranger Audio Video Integration

We had Michael Vetrovec and his team install an audio video system in our home. They were knowledgeable and professional. I also appreciated their attention to detail through every step of the process. Our system was not as extravagant as some, but Ranger AV treated ours as important as a bigger job.

Michael and the Ranger team installed a multi — room audio video system 7 years ago for me in my new home. I am happy to say this 7 — year business relationship continues to exceed my expectations! I had a problem due to a major TV repair two days before Christmas this year (emergency!) and I called Michael. Brian from the Ranger team came out on a rainy Weds night and stayed for 2 ½ hours to troubleshoot the problem. All because I am a regular customer. Who else would do that? They are true audiophiles so they create unique solutions and work around your constraints. They did a particularly good job for me incorporating some older equipment I had in with newer components. They build such loyalty that I will only work with them whenever I do any upgrades. You’ll learn allot from them too — if you are curious and want to know!

I discovered Michael Vetrovec and Ranger AV about 4 years ago. I had moved to Union City and had a pretty good 5.1 home theater system: Samsung HD 46″ flat screen, Integra reciever, Samsung CD and BluRay DVD, PSB speakers. I was having a problem finding a person or company that would install without having purchased anything from him/​them. When I stumbled upon Ranger in my search I hit GOLD. I have done all my electronics and home theater business with Michael and Ranger ever since. Even after recently moving out to Davis from Union City I am contracting Michael to drive out to re-​install my system in the totally professional and perfectly tuned, balanced way that is his normal standard… I truly believe he is in that small top tier of «the best» out there in this line of work. In addition, I also purchased several more components through Ranger over the last few years to upgrade my perfectly adequate system (being a believer in building slowly in quality rather than wholesale replacement). So, I purchased a Panamax power manager, an astounding all-​in-​one remote by Universal (which honestly and truly replaces ALL your remotes), the RFS unit for the remote’s operation, an REL subwoofer, and Audioquest cables for all important connections. On my own I upgraded to a new Integra receiver. All those changes, managed, fine tuned and balanced by Michael right in my own living room produced a ROCKING system from one that was, well, adequate. I was stunned at the positive, audible visible difference, and it was exactly as Michael had predicted it would be… making every penney I spent worth it every time I turned on my TV for regular shows or a movie, or simply wished to pop in a classical CD for musical enjoyment. If you like the best in service, thoughtful planning, and good pricing on your components, if you CARE about getting the most from your system, I highly recommend Ranger AV to anyone. In that spirit I am planning on following through on purchasing a pair of Sonus-​Faber loudspeakers. Michael, knowing how much I love my classical music playing with exact precision, recommended I take a listen to those units… I was blown away at the sound stage and «hugeness» of the genuine concert hall sound… Thanks, Michael. So, to all out there who read this: I recommend Ranger AV without hesitation to all audio and videophiles who want quality without pretentiousness, and service without compromise.
