Noelle Busby

Noelle is a hair goddess. I went to her for what we both joked about being a Hair Rehab (growing out a *very* wrong cut). I was almost beyond my wits end when I sat down in her chair the first time as I’d given my previous hairstylist two chances after the initial cut to fix (re-​shape) whatever had happened to the hairstyle that used to get so many compliments!
Only each time I went back, it looked worse and worse.
So Noelle had a bit of a skittish customer on her hands that first day. I hoped I wouldn’t walk out looking even worse, but she had come so highly recommended by my cousin (who’s known her for ages) that I figured I had to give it a shot.
She was very patient, listening to what I didn’t want, and helping me plan a path back to what I did want. I knew I was in the right hands when I walked out after our first cut and thought, «Wow, I look so much better!»
Over the past year she’s shepherded me through growing my hair out where it was too short, and blending the longer parts so they don’t look funny next to the shorter bits. After each hair cut I looked better and better, and more like my old self. She also highlights my hair, which folks find surprising when I mention it because they think my color is natural.
Just the other day, I was told my hair, which was loose at the time, was «sexy!» You don’t know how good that feels after a year of wearing hats, clips and a pony tail. Thanks Noelle, for making me not only look, but feel like my old self again!

Noelle has been my hair lady for more than ten years. I followed her from Fremont to San Ramon and can’t imagine anyone else taking care of my head!
I always walk out of my appointments looking beautiful, or at least I think I do! Noelle does superb highlighting, cut, and style. She is absolutely professional and takes her time to make sure every last detail is correct.
Noelle attends stylist conferences every year and keeps herself up to date on the latest innovations and products in the business.
Noelle is also gorgeous and takes pains to keep herself that way – why would you want to get your hair done by someone who didn’t even take care of themself?
She is also funny and smart. If you want to have a good chat in the chair, you will. Otherwise, she will leave you alone.
She is also loyal to her long time customers. I’ve had a hard go of it for a few years – economic downturn hurts us all! – and Noelle has not raised her prices on me, which is really nice.
I don’t get in to see her as often as I’d like now, but I’d rather wait until I can afford a GREAT hair experience with Noelle than get a «bargain» somewhere else. It’s weird, though – she does such a great job, my hair stays looking wonderful for a long, long time!
One caveat – she is so popular, you will need to be patient getting an appointment. She is booked up in advance for months, but if you work with her, you can probably get in when she has a cancellation.
