Very organized. Simple course and flat. My 11 year old came in 8th overall! Free ice cream after!~ The shirt was cool as is the heavy medal. Bars + fruit were offered and it was a good weather morning to run a 5k! Will probably do it again next y year!~

Fun! It was well organized and attended. Snacks, drinks and coffee before and after. People called out time at each mile. There was one drink station, that was enough. I like my shirt and ornament. Nice way to spend the morning. Kids in strollers and dogs on leash are welcome.

As a runner, this was poorly organized this last year. I had to take my cat to the vet and the road was blocked off and no detours and no one there to direct me. I ended up getting a ticket and having to pay money just because the vet was blocked off. I emailed the organizer and there was no help. Others at the vet also complained that they could not access the vet. Hopefully, next year this will be better planned.

This was my first year participating and I thought it was very well organized. I definitely enjoyed this run more than my past runs in the Bay Area(i.e. Pleasanton Spirit Run and Bear Creek Trail Run). Everything that the past Unilocalers said were all true — participants get a nice long sleeve t-shirt, a Christmas tree ornament for the finishers, lots of food and ice cream. Although it was freezing, it didn’t stop Cat N. and me from enjoying our ice cream. It was a well deserved treat. =) The course was a flat, paved route around the Bishop Ranch area(think of a big figure 8) and the volunteers at each mile marker would call out your time. Only downfall on this race was that there were no water stops. Nevertheless, I would totally sign up again. P. S. We got free water bottles from Fleet Feet(one of the sponsors).

Well organized, fun race. They call out your time as you pass the mile markers. Participants get a nice t-shirt and Christmas tree ornament, and there is an ample supply of great refreshments at the end. Kudos to the City of San Ramon and OnYourMark Events, they do a good job with their running events.

A fun, flat race for all. Lots of good things about it: –Good for families, dogs, runners and walkers –small race, but can register online –Peet’s coffee in the morning –9am start(so you’re not up at the crack o’ dawn) –Cool long sleeve t-shirt(featuring the Grinch) –Ornament at the finish –Lots of food at the finish – bagels, oranges, bananas, muffins, etc. –And the best part – there’s ice cream!!! Yes, I had a nice ice cream sandwich before breakfast. :) Thanks City of San Ramon!
