UPDATE: pharmacy is still awful. They need to do away the phone refill system as they never have my prescription ready after I phone in my order. Their response is, you can call in to make sure it’s ready before you come in. If I make an order that will be ready after 2 the next day, then it should be ready after 2 and I should not have to call to check on its status, or get to the counter and it not be ready. That’s just common sense.

Been waiting since 11am at the pharmacy now it’s 12:12 pm. I live here in San Pedro & when I go to Wilmington im out of there in 20 minutes, rather spend gas to go to Wilmington’s Rite Aid Pharmacy. The girls working right now do not care about their customers, so frustrating!

Terrible pharmacy, smelled like marijuana when I walked up to the pharmacy and my medicine that was supposed to already be ready WASNOT ready. I am sick of this pharmacy and will be transferring somewhere else!

Went in for 3 scripts tonight 2 of which was sent in electronically 1 I had to bring in. I was told it would be a 15 min wait. I had new insurance but it still should not have taken them 3 hours to get my scripts ready. After an hour I was asked about a last name confusion. Then another hour later was told it is almost done and hour later it was done. Most ridiculous wait time I have ever encountered at a pharmacy. And all they could say was I am sorry for the wait. I will not be making them my new pharmacy. Walgreens needs to move to San Pedro. I guess it will be cvs.

I came to Rite Aid to get a prescription filled at the pharmacy, and it was a HORRIBLE experience! They pharmacy said it would be 15 minutes and it took them over an hour and a half to refill the prescription. The staff was unfriendly and found that talking to their friends was more important than filling the prescriptions of a huge line of customers. Defiantly need a change of staff and management, this is unacceptable.

I come to this Rite Aid pretty much on a daily basis… some cashiers r nice & some r not… I’m used to that, it doesn’t bother me too much but one cashier in particular is beyond rude, her name is MAYRA she is the rudest cashier I have ever encountered here or any convenient store, seriously the girl won’t even greet u when u walk to her counter! Customer service is a must, hospitality is a must, if u can’t even say hello to the person in front of u, u should not be in «customer service»! I have had her check me out at least 5 times in total & I’ve tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, we all have bad days, but this chick is no joke, chip on her shoulder type! Well I guess I’m gonna start going to CVS! Rite Aid in San Pedro doesn’t deserve my money if this broad is who I have to deal with! Get it together Rite Aid! Pay attention to ur employees, that is if u even care about ur customers!!!

I always dread going here there’s always a huge line, staff will talk to each other instead of helping with line. Always creepy characters outside. Gave two stars because I am greatful it’s 24 hours

I avoid Rite Aid due to reviews that this particular one is very«ghetto.» However, I had to go stop by one day and was surprised to see the store to be really organized. The entrance is clean, items were nicely stocked… the only thing they fall short though are the people working the fronts – wearing a cleavage baring shirt that is two sizes down from her true size, this girl assisted me with not an ounce of professionalism, chewing her gum, popping it and rudely asking me for my ID, my card etc. The line was so long too, just like CVS but at least CVS front store crew look more polished and presentable than Rite Aid.

What’s there to discuss? Your store sucks. Why not chat with your store manager instead in training employees of how to treat customers and improving your store?

This rite aid has the longest line ever… Staff members are cool(especially the security) but they need more people…

The only reason this place gets a five star review is for pharmacy tech Rosie. Who took the time to call my insurance company so I would not have to pay out-of-pocket for my prescriptions. It took her a few minutes and looked like it was a total pain. She could have just told me to call my insurance company and figure it out but instead took the time to help me and I really appreciate that thank you so much you’ve created a new customer

My friends & I came into the store to buy Monster energy drinks & we were helped by a cashier Cindy who was very friendly & even suggested a delicious low carb silver/white Monster flavor. I was in a pretty bad mood from my long day but after talking with her, my spirits were lifted. Cindy is a positive happy energy & I know my friend & I were very happy with our service & will honestly be excited to see her again whenever we come into this area again. Love ya Cindy!

This is my spot– reasons why: *24 hour store, *they still sell cigarettes(CVS no longer does) *AND they still sell alcohol till 2am(CVS and Vons stop selling at 10 and 11pm i believe) *been going there for years– so I know the cashiers– although I agree with other Unilocalers– that they dont have enough cashiers working — so the wait can be LONGANDMISERABLE… but its not the end of the world… *Last and most important: THEY9OUTOF10TIMESHAVEGREATDEALSONYAGER.

Worst Managed location! Longest lines! Dirtiest bathrooms! I have been a rite aid costumer for many many years and I normally would not write reviews on drugstores but I really need someone to take a look at this location and do something about it. The lines are very long every time I have been there, there is only 2 cashiers and the wait times exceed 15 – 20 mins to purchase anything. I am just back from having waited in line with other dissatisfied customers for about 20 minutes. When I spoke to the employees about it always being this way, they confirmed that there is never enough people scheduled to help and they know and this is normal for them. when they repeatedly call for a 3rd checker nobody shows up. the manager is nowhere to be seen. The bathroom is locked, when asked to be let in, I had to wait around for 15 mins and nobody let me in. finally after complaining and asking to be let in repeatedly, I saw the most unsanitary of conditions in there. no toilet paper(at a drugstore mind you) wet paper and urine covering the floor, dirty sinks and stained mirrors. All of these are things that I would never expect from a rite aid store. I’m thinking if you’re in the area, CVS across the street is a much better option.

Do not go on Saturdays at 10:00pm and up. It’s a different crowd, at this place, not good. The line is huge at this time Friday’s too. It’s a bummer when trying to order ice cream, which so freaking good, because they take forever. They have to call one employee from the back and you have to Wait and wait. Not good. But I love it at times because the deals are so Good.

It’s your average rite aid, nothing special about it, nothing bad about it. I come hear because I prefer it over CVS across the street and its 24 hours, not to mention they let me shop in peace here without looking at me like i’m stealing the way they do at the CVS a couple blocks down across the street. Just don’t go in on a friday or saturday after 10 otherwise plan on waiting in a long line. Mainly beer sales, which wouldn’t be a problem but they only have one or two people working that cashier which is why the line stacks so much.

I’m ALWAYS in here… You are not going to find«regularly» lower prices for beer, pretty much anywhere in ‘Pedro.(That alone my friends, is why they get 4 stars). The place is usually filled with, or surrounded by, a cast of «characters»,(myself included), and for me personally, that’s part of it’s, shall I say… «charm». The later it gets in the evening, the more of an adventure it becomes!!! Out front you will typically find a panhandler or two, a Salvation Army worker, a stenchy, aromatic, toothless, drunkard… or some other, absurdly bizarre, entertaining, personality. I worked at this location years ago when it was a «Market Basket» grocery store,(okay, I’m dating myself). So while some say it’s in a «sketchy» area, that $hit don’t bother me. I’m just looking for the lowest price I can find on my 30 pack of Coors Light!!!

Let me share a couple of things about me: A) I’m a make-up fanatic, addict, and freak… love it! B) Rite Aid, along with Walgreen’s and CVS are my favorite places for the lower end drugstore make up. C) I can never walk into a Rite-Aid without getting a least a handful of make-up items. and D) I’m a die hard fan of the 24hours stores(nothing beats a 2am make-up shopping spree!!) So, if you haven’t guessed it already this review is geared for the make-up and beauty products section. So, for starters: A) This Rite-Aid is 24hrs, woohoo midnight shopping trips here I come! B) It’s very clean and nicely organized which when it comes to make-up is very important specially when you’re looking for popular and hard to find items, cause the last thing I want is to search rows and isles for a single item which may or may not be stock. C) The employees are friendly and eager to assist. and D) I think the«people of Walmart» come to this Rite-Aid!!! I can’t wait to get some awesome pictures!
