Staff keeps sending letters for an «unpaid» visit. This is the last time I am sending the Money Order copy receipt to their office. My dad was referred by his primary care physician after he had an aneurism. His visit lasted approximately one whole minute. Dr. Nabavi never even acknowledged my dad in the visit he only spoke to me(which my father and I found extremely unprofessional) and asked me if I believed that my dad was actually having the symptoms my dad claimed to be having. Last time I checked Dr. Nabavi was not listed as a psychologist. If you are referred ask if there are any alternates.

My husband has been struggling with back pain for years and has tried everything but nothing seemed to work. He got a referral from his primary care doctor to see a specialist in hopes to get an accurate diagnosis. The visit with Dr. Nabavi was the worst experience my husband has ever had with a medical professional. My husband came prepared and brought all his medical records and MRI scans on his back. Dr. Nabavi looked through the images and basically told him that he’s going to be on pain meds for the rest of his life and that he isn’t going to get any better. He didn’t listen to anything my husband was saying and wouldn’t even let him talk. Even when my husband tried to say something, he would cut him off and ended the appointment with no resolution at all. My husband left completely depressed and crushed. Dr. Nabavi did not have any kind of bed side manner and didn’t show any empathy. I want a doctor that will do everything in his/her power to figure out a diagnosis rather than give me a prescription and push me away and one that can create a comfortable environment where we can have a dialog. Thank god for second opinions, but it sucks when you waste so much time and money for nothing. We won’t be able to get back those few minutes he spent with my husband, but at least we found a doctor that actually was able to do his job.
