Their mango shake was sweet and delicious. It cost more than the price posted though. I think 3.75 before taxes. Food is good, typical menu you’d see at any Chinese to go places. They have parking spaces right next to the building.

I eat here because I work in the area. The food is ok for American style Chinese food, I’ve been eating at this establishment for a few years, my face should be familiar with the some of workers. This time I noticed a new face, not sure who she was. I was getting some food to go, and before I left I wanted to use the restroom. As I was walking to the restroom the lady that I have never seen before told the younger grill to follow me and watch me. I was a bit offended, but this is the way she wants to treat her customers she has that right. I also have the right to eat elsewhere

Me and my friend ate here in San Pedro because there wasn’t much resturaunts by open so early. We also love asian food lol. the place is kind off dirty. I can tell people come for something quick and just go. They also have a B rating for their resturaunt and have like dirty dish tubs unattended the whole time we were there. As if they clean tables and leave the bins out there while people eat. Food is ok, just a little sketch eating it after seeing how dirty it was around.

This place is DISGUSTING! It’s soooo dirty, it’s rumored around Pedro that someone once found a newborn rat/mouse in their food! The noodles tasted like they cook it with vinegar and too much of it! The owner/employee was beyond rude, and you have to pay extra for any condiment you ask for. Gross place. My boyfriend and friends who are born and raised San Pedro natives love it here, I on the other hand, coming from Downey, have had much better and cleaner food.

Best Chinese food In San Pedro! Orange chicken is delicious as is the fried rice and chow mien. I recommend the Sauté shrimp plate too. The workers are so kind and remember you and what you like to eat.

The food here is really good, I have yet to be disappointed. Staff that works here are wonderfully friendly and very accommodating. If there was anything negative to say it would have to be that the restaurant is a little grubby and run down, but the kitchen is immaculate! Probably a better place to go when the evenings are cooler, they never run an air conditioner and it can be a little brutal. WARNING…If you are one of those people that insists on ordering from the buffet you may not be that impressed, but for those who order from the ala carte menu the rewards are worth it. The Mongolian beef may be one of the best I have had and the fried shrimp dish that they specialize in is out of this world You will not be disappointed :-).

They have the best Chinese food in Pedro! My girl brought me here recently & we’ve been coming here just about every wednesday. Their food always tastes fresh like its constantly being changed I love their bbq red pork its not too sweet & its not too salty its perfect! Also the 2 women that serve you are so nice & funny especially the older lady. We always leave with a good laugh & good food from there. Food is really price reasonable than most chinese restaurants i’ve been to. Definitely reccomend this place… P.S parking is right next to the building might be a little tight to get in there.

I feel really bad for not updating my review sooner. I guess the first time we came here we caught them on a bad day. We decided to give them a second chance about a month later and it was a night and day difference. The chowmein had plenty of flavor, the rice was good and the meat dishes tasted a lot better! Every time we’ve been back after that its been the same quality. Their war wantan soup really hits the spot when anyone at home is sick. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is cuz they get a little stingy with the bbq pork and other meat dishes.

Great portions for the price! Friendly staff. The food is delicious. They have special order and buffet style(they serve you), fresh and ready to eat. Too bad they don’t deliver. Friends introduced me to this hole in the wall joint and I’ve come back on my own! Would definitely recommend.

Great portions for the price. They remember us and our ‘usual’ We have always gotten our food to-go. dining in seems like we don’t get as much food. We like the orange chicken best over the other places in the area

I’ve eaten here three times last few months and it’s very hit or miss. The pricing is good but the food is inconsistent. Chow mein is always good but everything else varies. They give you a lot of food for the price and you have the option of sitting there and eating or take out. For the most part the younger girl behind the counter is friendly but the older woman is like the food, hit or miss on how friendly she is.

Best spicy shrimp fried rice. I go out of my way from Long Beach, even Paramount. Over the Vincent Thomas Bride for it.

Longevity is the mark of quality… and Louie’s Chinese No. 2 is the spot! Order from the kitchen you will not be disappointed. The food is second to none. Don’t be put off by the décor, after all you not eating the wall tiles. If you like good Chinese food this will be your go too!

I tried this place out of sheer curiosity. The building the restaurant is in is 70’s San Pedro and I wanted to see the inside. I warned my husband that it might suck, but he was up for the adventure. I had a cold at the time and really wanted some sweet and sour soup. The restaurant was nearly empty and looked like it was not often occupied. Several people came through for to go, but no one stayed. The sweet and sour soup was made to order, but full of what appeared to be chicken fat. I have never had sweet and sour soup with meat in it. The broth was greasy and gamey, not all what I remembered sweet and sour soup to be. I don’t eat meat so I boxed it up for my husband to eat later. He had buffet style chicken wings, fried rice, and some kind of sugary chicken. He said it was typical for buffet style chinese in his opinion. All in all, the only reason I would return is for the retro pleather booths, but I would not eat there again.

This is Asian fast food. Simple. Its family owned and they are kind people. The trick in eating here is getting it fresh. So their lunch is excellent, crisp and fresh. Their dinner is not. The rice and noodles at dinner are old. Great for lunch locals.

Its okay. Typical Chinese fast food. All the main dishes you’d expect. Nothing is extraoridinary. But if you’re looking to get food on the go come here. Don’t really like eating inside the restaurant because everything seems a tad old and out dated. The orange chicken breading is great, just wish it had more chicken. Soups on the other hand are amazing. Their wonton soup is great. If I could give seperate reviews for the soups I’d easily give a 4. Anyone remember when this was a nice sit down restaurant? I miss that.

Should not judge a book by it’s cover, sure the place could use a face lift, but, Hey! The shrimp fried rice is very good. yes!

Once again the reviews prove the diverse cross section of people & preferences on Unilocal. This is the standard, run-of-the-mill greasy Chinese fast food that is no better or worse than many other places. But they give good portions for the price and for many people just getting a filling meal for a decent price is the driving force to eating there. I’ve tried it a few times over the years and still can’t find anything that tastes good to me(and when it’s fresh, I love that gooey orange chicken stuff sometimes) The people behind the counter are a bit abrupt(rude) if I hesitate even a second too long to make a decision. It’s not located in the best part of town and most customers aren’t affluent, but neither one is a good reason for poor service. They serve cheap food with a cheap attitude. I see no reason to go back.
