Very cute little place with great shops and such a friendly staff! Upon driving in you are greeted by the friendly parking attendant, Christian, and then when you walk inside it is such a cute, artsy feel that gives you a little adventurous vibe with an ambition to shop. It’s definitely a fun place to check out with family and friends.

I like CRAFTED. I don’t go on high traffic weekends and that’s maybe why 50% of the booths have been closed when I’ve visited. I’d love to show up one day to see all the vendors open. Lots of parking and a very friendly staff. Interesting wares in a beautiful warehouse.

The warehouse is gorgeous, I found a lot of local artists and their work was impressive. Left with shaving soap and some ceramic bowls, very happy My girlfriend and I sat at the«creation station» and made wreaths. It was perfect!

As a lover of all things craftsy, I have gone to fairs like Renegade and various local ones. Yes, you get to see famous crafters and a dazzling variety of products at those, but they are only held a few times a year. Also, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. But when you want your craftsy fix when a fair isn’t scheduled, you can be glad that LA’s craft scene is big enough to have a permanent space for you to visit any weekend of the year! Parking is free and the warehouse building itself is really cool — their branding is adorable. They have a make-a-craft-to-bring-home section and a self-help gift wrapping center with paper, boxes, ribbons. That is way awesome! Check in on Unilocal and get $ 5 off any purchase of $ 25. You can’t expect as much variety but I thought there was a good sampling of different things at Crafted. There are food vendors(specialized condiments and jams), cake pops with liquor, handmade journals/notepads, homemade soaps, handmade clothing(esp cute ones for kids), photography, jewelry, furniture, art, even books. The cool part about the smaller, more intimate venue is that you can chat and get to know more about the artistic process behind the products and watch the artists at work. My favorite discovery there were the handmade soaps with a piece of natural loofa in it — they smelled divine! I also picked up a couple handmade baby accessories and adorable UCLA onesies. If you are looking for some unique and well-made gifts, I would definitely recommend checking out Crafted. I for one would definitely not mind being gifted with any of the handmade soaps or the jams! ;) In terms of location, if you’re going to make a trip to the Port of LA, it’s worth it to save part of the day to enjoy San Pedro and walking along the waterfront. In my book, crafts + walking along the water = a lovely, ultra relaxing day!

Crafted is a market featuring handmade items from local artisans. The marketplace is actually in a historic World War II Naval Warehouse. I really like the variety of sellers. So many handmade galleries are mostly jewelry, but Crafted has furniture, soaps, candles, custom clothing, quilts, handbags, photography, découpage, skater tees, and culinary treats like cake pops and homemade jelly. The market is divided into smaller shops… you can browse and visit with the artisans, and sometimes even learn about their craft.

With the Holidays coming up a great place to shop for the unique gift. All stalls feature hand crafted items. Well made and reasonably priced

(Review is only for the parking lot staff) Poked around at the RH sale over the weekend. Had the opposite experience regarding parking from the review above/below me; everybody was super polite and helpful, to the extent that I felt compelled to write a review about a parking lot.

I was just there today to check out the Restoration Hardware Outlet Store sales event. It happens to be Lobster fest in San Pedro and the traffic getting there was horrible once you get off of the bridge!!! Avoid this area if they have any special events!!! Parking was great there were lot of spaces but the craft shop part of the warehouse was very hot! The craft stalls look very clean but the merchandises they had there were not what I call craft. I saw very few crafts people hand making their ware. Maybe it just happened to be their day off or not, I was not impressed with this venue.

Miserable experience, we were there for the Restoration Hardware sale and wandered through the other shops. The building was way too hot, staff are all too eager to yell at you when there is no sinage, and the craft vendors all look like rejects from actual artisan communities. It’s not a particularly hot day by LA standards but it was an oven in the building. The huge fans were not helpful at all. The ends of where the sale was and where the«warehouse» began were both unmarked and unclear. There was furniture unwrapped on both sides with prices etc. Rather that posting signs or being decent about it, we(and others) were screamed at by drill sergeant wanna bes. I am fairly certain these were Crafted staff and not RH staff, even in the parking lot, staff were screaming at visitors. It was horribly unpleasant. Even down to letting me out of the car was a nightmare. Parking was impossible and I had been badly injured the day before. My husband tried to let me out near the main doors where we were blocking no one, there were handicapped and other parking there, I went to get out and was again screamed at. Even when my husband explained he didn’t want me walking so far, the psudo-guard barked that we needed to move and I could not get out, no alternatives were offered(we were NOT trying to park in blue spots, simply a man being a gentleman to his injured wife). This was agressive screaming, not speaking loudly, there is a difference. So after being screamed at and oven baked, in enormous pain, I still trudged along because we drove quite a ways and the RH sale was important to me. I am not commenting on the warehouse sale since this is about Crafted. I had already walked a block to get in so I went into the Crafted section, what a waste. It was a handful of booths that had ¾th walls, many were empty, the others were filled with crafts that looked about the same as what my 6 year old niece could make. Imagine a bad, tiny county fair. Yuck. Just avoid, there are so many better things to do around LA and certainly many better craft fairs and markets. No matter how awesome the event is advertised, nothing would bring me back to this spot.

I love that everything here is handcrafted and creative. They have a lot of beautiful merchandise for sale. The vendors that I met were very nice and informative. I enjoyed walking around and checking out everything such as candles, alcoholic cake pops(delicious by the way!), stones, jewelry, crocheted clothing, etc. The warehouse is huge! There’s also art drawn by students in the center. I love anything that inspires people to be creative and artistic. Definitely a new favorite spot for the weekends when I want to walk around and be around creative minds.

This review is for ONE of the vendors, drunken cake pops. Great idea, poor execution. They are pricey(15.00 for six), they were out of the first two flavors I asked for, and when I did finally find one they had, it was AWFUL. My husband was not thrilled with either of the two he tried. don’t waste your money. That’s $ 15 we will never see again, three went directly into the trash. The idea of CRAFTED, the whole place is good. There are a few good vendors. But beware and try before you buy.

I had a lot of fun visiting this market over the weekend. It is located in a really neat old warehouse and has plenty of parking in its own lot. There was a decent selection of vendors and everyone was very friendly. The only negative is that I was there on a Saturday but about a third of the booths were closed. I am not sure why so many would be closed on a summer weekend but I was disappointed that I couldn’t browse all their wares. Oh, also the warehouse has no AC so make sure to dress accordingly!

I live in the area and stop by about every six months. Today was the first time I was really excited about the variety of vendors. I was really impressed with«The Wet Sheep» booth that sells beautiful felted hand knit accessories. I also really liked«One of a Kind Machine Quilting.» I really appreciate the fact that many of the vendors teach classes. Four stars instead of five because they still don’t have enough to food choices — but that has improved too. There are other wonderful things to see in the area if you know where to look.

I read about Crafted in my recent AAA magazine and decided it would be a neat place to take my mom who was here on a visit. We both like homemade crafts and it was fun strolling around the different booths but quite a few booths who had goods didn’t have anyone there to sell the goods. Since it’s a pretty far drive in LA standards I probably won’t be back but it’s worth going to once. The only thing we bought was a couple of drunken cake pops. If you happen to be there when Chori-Man is there be sure to try his red chorizo tacos! That was the only food available when we were there and it was the highlight of our trip!

If this faculty was located in a high traffic area it would do great. But, it is kind of at the end of the world in Pedro. :-) And, there are very few reasons for people to travel to this location. A for concept. C for location. This being said, there are some great vendors here and some interesting pop-up shops. I’ve been coming here since it opened and, for the most part, the shops keep changing. As they frequently change, there is an ever-evolving plethora of fun items from art, to jewelery, onto clothing, and everything in between. So, come here if you get the chance. The thing to keep in mind about Crafted is that a lot of the shops will not be opened when you arrive as the shops are simply small alcoves in a large open space and the owners only show up when they feel like it. So, it is not like a store that will be opened on specific hours. None-the-less, fun place to see unique items that you will not see elsewhere.

This place is a challenge to find, but so unique with its products. Local artisans sell their wares in small booths. You can buy jewelry, clothes, candles, books and what we came for — specialty salts. We found this place several months ago and purchased some black truffle salt and some smoked bacon salt. What a RUSH! The flavor that the bacon salt contributed to the MU’s fresh seared ahi made me want it served no other way. So back to the salt mines we came. This trip we bought garlic salt and chipotle bacon salt. I roasted some asparagus and used the garlic salt — OMYGODITISSOFLIPPINGGOOD! It looks like they’re expanding this area as there’s plenty of construction ongoing. I can’t wait to see what transpires. Maybe some restaurants? No clue. But I’ll keep coming back for the salts.

I came to Crafted when they first opened and I thought that it was a cool concept, partly because it was different; local everyday crafters and artists trying to sell their wares. When I first went, they had several different food trucks and vendors selling everything from plants, to bath items, to art. I originally went to see The Donut Snob, a «new business» pop up on my Unilocal app that showed that they were in the area. They in fact weren’t in the area, but they delivered gourmet donuts to people in the area and they had it on their site that they were setting up a booth at Crafted. When I went to crafted to buy some of their donuts, I found out that they weren’t there. I emailed them and was told that they were waiting for permits to open up shop at Crafted. I figured that other«food-type» businesses were awaiting the same, because their were limited booths with food. Disappointed and pissed that I had paid for parking(because in the beginning, they charged for parking), I went to one of the food trucks. I grabbed food to go and it wasn’t a long wait. There were maybe 4 trucks there, in a space that alloted for many more trucks. There weren’t many vendor spaces ready for business. Many of them had signs up about what was coming. I haven’t been back since, but I do want to see if there have been any changes. Driving by, I don’t see as many cars in the lot as I did when they first opened. Hopefully it gets better, but overall it’s a nice concept and I would go back. Pros: Plenty of parking, beautiful area, nice and modern on the inside, food trucks, eating areas, the unique vendors, and it’s clean. Cons: Paying to park, though I heard that they got rid of that. Not enough food truck choices, not enough vendors renting space inside, food choices are not consistent, the hours are weird, as they are only open on the weekend.

I have been here several times ONLY because various friends have been excited about checking out Crafted, especially because we all want to patronize our local craftsman business owners. However, there is NEVER anything here that I want to buy. I try hard to try to spend some money here, but I am not thrilled about the jewelery, clothes or knick-knacks that they are selling. They seem to have stuff that would appeal to my grandmother, and not to someone like me… Also, MANY of the booths are empty because I have heard that the vendors have to pay $ 500 a month… which is too high for a place that typically does the vast majority of its business on the weekends. Hopefully, this place will improve and be cool… and bring in some talented and creative San Pedro artisans.

Love the art of coffee at Angel’s Gate roasting Co. They are small but mighty! Taking care to roast each bean with a heavenly touch.
