I was in a rush so went thru the drive thru. All I asked was for a tall coffee with cream and 3 packs of brown sugar. They handed me a coffee with 3 packs of sugar on the side. I had to ask them for a stir stick and then had pull over and mix it myself. I could of just went inside. Not a super big deal but I’ve never been to a starbucks where I went thru a drive thru and had to mix my sugar in myself. Even McDonalds does it for you. I live so close so I’ll probably still go here

I almost gave 4 stars because of the intense parking wars in the lot but I can’t fault Starbucks for being located in the shitiest part of this plaza. The location is A-1 for the drive through part of Starbucks, but if you’re parking and walking in, good luck to you! This location tends to get really crowded early mornings. I’m typically here around 6:30 am before I hit the road to work. Wait time can be anywhere from 2 –10 minutes. However, if you step your game up like I did, you can order on the app and it will be ready by the time you arrive. Most times. I only had to wait for my drink twice when ordering on the mobile app. 1 time was because I left my house earlier than I expected and I got there too soon, the other time, they forgot. SMH. It happens, I get it. But damnit that’s what the app is for. Over all this location is really good for meetings, studying, hanging out. There’s outside patio furniture which is great for the hot days. And inside seating can get full pretty quickly so be patience if you wish to have a seat. The staff is really friendly. Oh before I forget, another great thing I love about ordering on the mobile app is that there’s no way anyone can mess up my name :)

Woah I’m kinda surprised too see all the bad reviews of this place. I’ve never really had any bad experiences here. Most employees are pretty nice, especially Lauren! She was extremely friendly and made good suggestions :-)

This Starbucks is the worst Starbucks in the Richmond/San Pablo area. I have mobile ordered from this place 2 times and it took over 15 mins not including the drive time. To top it off they are hella rude and young. Stay away.

It’s been over a year so I gave this location another try Deja Vu, they attempted to charge me for a grande when I ordered a tall then poured half of the coffee out of my personal cup. This time I stood up for myself and had them pour my personal cup into their tall cup to prove they were being unfair. I walked out feeling ok then I realized I didn’t receive my personal cup discount. They win I won’t be going back to this location.

Short and simple I think their service and coffee has gotten worst i ordered a venti frap which was More like a tall and the taste was horrible. 7 elevens coffee is much tastier and less pricey than here. Really dissapointed. :(

I tend to frequent this Starbucks and have yet to learn my lesson… I should stop going to a Starbucks that can’t get their shit straight. I always am forgiving about the constant, «we ran out of________» that happens here A LOT! Always out of flavors. ALWAYS out of stoppers. But last night(1÷3÷2016 at around 8:45pm) I was greeted by the most immature«baristas» I have ever encountered at a Starbucks. Joked around at the speaker while I tried to order my drink. He introduced himself over the speaker with a fake name while laughing and saying he was new. When I reached the window he said he wasn’t new and he gave his real name and said it was his«manager» who was messing around on the drive thru speaker. Maybe someone else would think this is funny, but I was not amused. Finally I get my 2 grande cinnamon dolce lattes(out of the other 3 flavors I wanted other than this) and head home. We tried the lattes and they were nothing but hot milk with a dash of cinnamon over it. My suggestions to the employees here is to stop making this very loved brand their playground. Do your job folks! I don’t appreciate paying $ 10 for steamed milk and a dash of cinnamon– I can do that shit at home and have more skills than the two fools from last night! Argh– I’m pist.

I would like start with being Starbucks customer for at least 20 years or more . The El Cerrito store I have become used to poor service here.12/6/2015, 6am I ordered a Americano drink i asked to use 1 of my rewards but was charged for the drink oh well! Then I wondered why it was taking so long to get my drink that I had paid for, So I decided to inquire about about my drink with the barista. come to find out the drink it has not been started yet so I repeated my order again to the barista, I do not get upset after waiting 10 minutes, I come to except how this Starbucks is run. Thank you for being consistent all these years!!.

If you want your order done right, then go to another location. I try to avoid this location but decided to give them another try. In the drive thru they’re in a rush to take your order and get to the next customer. Of course I get to the window and my drink is iced– which I did not ask for. And then the guy at the window had an attitude about fixing the drink. If I’m paying for something it better be right. I will not be coming to this location again and suggest they get training on how to properly treat customers.

I came here to buy two venti fraps & a puppuccino(free cup of whipped cream for my puppy), like I always do at every other Starbucks in the United States of America. SURPRISINGLY, for the first time, I WASCHARGED2.50FOR A SHORTCUP, HALFFILLEDWITHWHIPPEDCREAM. When I questioned this, the barista firmly responded«it’s manager’s rules & Starbuck’s policy.» It’s unfortunate to have such a pet-UNfriendly Starbucks branch,(& unfriendly in general). I am still disappointed thinking about it, and it’s been 3 weeks hahahah. Don’t ever come here if you love pets and if you love genuine customer service. In addition, unlike other branches, this branch will not do «shaken» for your lattes or refreshers. According to their baristas, this is due to «cross contamination hazards w/dairy products.» Yet, shouldn’t Starbucks have multiple shakers and blenders for both non-dairy & dairy drinks? Visit another Starbucks if you love to customize your drinks, and if your dog loves his puppuccinos.

The service sucks and the coffee is a hit and miss. You can try to be nice, but any particular changes to the coffee and all the employees become rude. When I say all, I mean all of them seem to be in the same life status of hating their job. The only good thing is that it’s right next to CCC.

I like the drive thru. The coffee’s were ok. The employee’s seemed a little«greater than thou». I’m not someone who is a coffee coinsure and would never claim to know anything about the taste, roasting, where the beans were from or what that mattered. Honestly, coffee is bitter and I need it sweetened up. And so asking for a sweeter than they make it coffee seems to be funny. Giggles and smug looks don’t go over big with me when I haven’t made a joke. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks. This one in San Pablo may be a nice building and the quality of the product is standard, but it’s not enough to make me want to go back to this particular store.

I went to this Starbuck’s drive-thru around 11:10am today and politely requested that I wanted to place two different orders(separate transactions). The lady working the window promptly replied with«We can’t do that here» I then asked why not and in the most snobby hostile tone I’ve ever heard from a Starbucks employee«Because we just don’t.» Then a few seconds later, she was quick to add a semi-acceptable response«Because we don’t do seperate transactions in the morning because there’s cars behind you». Mind you a car JUST pulled up behind me and I would barely consider 11:10am the morning rush for coffee. She then offered I come inside to place multiple transactions, but I just drove to the new Starbucks in El Sob off San Pablo Dam. I’ll travel the extra minute or two to Starbucks in El Sob or the one next to El Cerrito Del Norte BART by the Home Depot because they know how to do customer service right.
