Pizza Guys as a chain is a very good comparison point for other pizzas out there, not because it is exceptional, but because it familiar enough to everybody by now. The pizza is certainly good enough to satisfy that greasy hole in your stomach that only a pizza can fill, but not so good that it would change your life.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences from this location and have been ordering from them every now and again for years now.

Pizza guys gets a solid «meh». Not good, not bad, but certainly food. We ordered a pizza cooked well done and some bbq wings. The pizza was barely cooked through, requiring us to cook it at home for an additional 10 minutes or so. The wings were, I don’t know, kind of weird. They were swimming in bbq sauce, but only half of them actually had sauce on them. In spite of this, they were actually quite soggy and rubbery. The flavor was ok, so take that as you will. They delivered before the quoted time which rarely happens, so you know, yay. If you’re in the mood for mediocre food and you want it relatively soon, look no further!

Let’s start off with saying it’s nearly impossible to get delivery in Richmond area where I was at the time but I was super happy to hear these guys delivered. I had called like 4 places who advertised they delivered but did not. I was at my boyfriends house with his little brother. we were starving so we we placed an order despite all these other reviews on here. This was Monday 02/​29/​2016 we ordered a bbq chicken pizza and it was DELICIOUS!!! My boyfriends dad even came over and helped us finish it. We all really enjoyed it! The delivery driver was super nice as well. He brought us free cheese sticks & the delivery time was ONLY 30 minutes. Nothing but good to say about this place. Give them a shot if you are ever in need of some good pizza. He even brought us ranch at no extra charge. happy customer. Thanks guys! Wish I would of got the delivery guys name and the person I spoke to over the phone after I placed my order through eat24 to confirm it but I will be back when in the area. Not recommended! YOUR SERVICE IS SO BAD

Wow. I’d give zero if I could. Here’s the timeline:
6:30 — Order pizza. Confirmation says 7:38 delivery.
8:00 — Call, ask about my pizza. They say 5 – 7 minutes. No apology, not even apologetic.
8:20 — Call again, they say he’s «on his way». Still, not even *slightly* apologetic. I tell them it’s now 40 minutes late and I want a refund. Phone person says «Fine. It’ll be on your card in 24 – 72 hours.» Hangs up.
8:25 — Pizza guy calls me, says he’s outside.
8:26 — Pizza guy calls back, says he’s been instructed not to deliver the pizza.
Absolutely ridiculous. Zero stars, would not recommend to anyone. I live ~5 minutes away from their location, so the delivery being 40 MINUTES late is insane. Add to that the complete f-​you attitude expressed by their staff, there’s nothing that could make me try to eat here again.

Was told I could pick up my order at 8:09pm. It’s now 8:38pm. Still no sign of my medium pizza.

I got to give a recognition to this place for being the only pizza shop open on Christmas day. This place has decent pizza for reasonable prices. We ordered two XLG pizza one combination and one with sausage and pepperoni. I got to admit that the combination pizza had more sausage than the meat pizza. The meat pizza looked like it was a pepperoni with a few dots of sousage. The taste of the pizza was alright but I was not a fan of the dough since it was tasteless. There are other better pizza spots in the area. They have good online deals and if you pick up your order you get free ice cream or a soda.

Great service, excellent rapport with customers. Compared to round tables careless customer service.
PIzza guys uses fresh ingredients aswell.
I highly recommend pizza guys over Roundtable any day.

Pizza was decent but the delivery driver was rude, unprofessional, unpleasant, did not follow directions, and should not be working with the general public. When I got outside to pay he insulted me by making rude, inappropriate comments about my outfit and about how he was pissed that he had to open the gate and wait for me. Well, the thing about that was he was supposed to call when outside so I could open the gate and meet him but he did not do that.
I always put CALL WHEN OUTSIDE as the special instructions because I have a 70 pound Great Dane/​pit bull mix who hangs in the yard that WILL jump on a stranger who walks into the yard by themselves. I don’t want anyone to get injured while delivering my food, but after he made a bunch of rude comments about my shirt I kind of wish I had left my dog outside and let him knock him over. Also, what if he let my dog out of the yard? Would he have been prepared for the huge ass whopping that would have followed?
This is the only time I have never tipped my delivery driver, dude was a complete a-​hole and I will never order Pizza Guys again because of him.

I’m from San Jose but I am working for a friend of mine before I go on my trip. I wanted to eat something good last night and watch a movie. I looked around for a few pizza places but this one was my choice. I picked it because of the guy that stated he gave these guys a 1star for leaving flyers in his door. Persistent, I like that, I own a business too. As far as the pizza and customer service it was really good. Rick was the guy who helped me and he had a great personality. This post is for this day lets hope they keep up the great customer service and persistence for the people of San Pablo CA. Nice job Rick!

I will NEVER do business with ANY of the Pizza Guy’s franchises EVER AGAIN! I’m boycotting ALL PIZZA GUYS. I want everyone to know what type of shady business people they are, this franchise in particular and even corporate sucks!
This review is long overdue as it as been a few months but I decided to finally put it up because I recently had mountain mike’s (which also delivers) and will rather continue my business with them instead of the pizza guys. I’ve ordered from the pizza guys before and deemed their pies were decent for the price and they deliver. I placed an online order for delivery. Got the order confirmation everything was fine but then immediately after I placed the order, one the associates called me and told me my card declined and wanted me to give her my card numbers over the phone (mmmmm sounds fishy). So i told her I was going to cancel that order and I replaced the order using a different card (my mistake) and the order went through. Got my order everything was fine. WRONG! The next day both my credit cards were charged 54 bucks on each card. I called them and one of the same associate (Letty i believe?) told me that the credit will go back in 2 – 3 business days. I waited until the next week nothing happened. Still had a negative 54 bucks that went to this shady business. I called over and over and over to the point where the associate knew my name and gave me the managers cell phone number (Umesh) but would never pick up my calls or tried to return my calls. I googled searched corporate’s phone number and spoke with three different people who were supposed to refund my money back but still didn’t happen. For 54 bucks I rather drive to Round tables and pick up for better quality pizza.

I’m not sure what the problem has been with Pizza Guys lately. The last 2 pizzas I’ve ordered have arrived over an hour after I placed the order and barely warm. I’d reheat it in the oven, but A) I shouldn’t have to, and B) I don’t want to wait for my oven to heat up.
Perhaps they don’t have enough drivers so the ones they do have are doing too much? I don’t know. I called to complain about the last order, so they comped the delivery fee on the next order, but that one was late and cold too. I think we will finish this cold pizza and look for a new place for next time. Bummer.

The pizza is made fresh to order with all fresh ingredients. However they have special pricing for their Gluten free Pizza while other places simply charge the same amount as a regular pizza. The owner is a very nice man that actually works there and makes the pizzas himself. If you have to order multiples such as in my case for my child’s school. He has been known to give a coupon for a discount pizza next time. Yes, the coupon books is in and we seem to keep returning

Great pizza, quick delivery & awesome deals. There’s always a good deal parallel to any local games playing, like NBA Finals. OoO, & on some deals it’s FREE ICE CREAM. Pizza & a movie kind of night, Pizza Guys is the go-​to spot. My fav: Combo Pizza.

The customer service is very friendly, fast, and great. Love their Jalapeño bread cheese sticks. Everything tastes fresh.

There are only a few times in a mans life when he gets the privilege to taste something so well crafted! I have to say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this to anyone searching for a good pie.
The staff is super nice and make sure that your pizza is made just the way you want!
I definitely will be coming here again every time I’m in the area!
