I’ve been coming here since I was kid and I never go anywhere else. This place never fails to satisfy my craving for Chinese. Great service and great food. I recently transitioned to vegetarianism and they were really understanding and even made suggestions on what to get so don’t be afraid to ask for something that’s not on the menu.

My family has been coming here for about 20 years now It’s my moms favorite Place the owners even know my mom well. When I do go eat here on occasions I usually get Chow Mein Chicken Fried Rice and it comes with a Spring roll. The portions are big so if you come here you will get a good meal for a reasonable price.

I ate here 2x already and I can only remember ordering the combination chowmein and fried rice the 1st time and it was really good! Therefore, I ordered the same thing 2nd time around but with sweet and sour chicken this time. I didn’t like the chicken so I’m going to stick to the fact that the chowmein and fried rice is their best ones yet! The prices are pretty cheap so don’t expect the inside to be all fancy because it’s not. But good thing is there’s plenty of parking esp. on the side of the restaurant. Also the old guy there who takes the orders is pretty funny! =)

Best place for Fresh Chinese food in Richmond, I come here almost every week with my boyfriend. The prices are very affordable as well, we always get their chicken wings which is fried super crispy and flavorful. And we get the beef chow fun with black bean sauce, those two are my absolute favorite dish. But if you go right when they open, sometimes they don’t have the chow fun noodles because the delivery guy comes at different times. And they do get super busy so you would have to wait a bit, the owners which is the two couple are super sweet I give them props for running the place because it can get crazy.

We ordered the spare rib lunch special, beef and broccoli and beef chow fun. Everything was good but the prices were much higher than the menu prices. The chow fun was two dollars more than it was advertised. Otherwise, the service and food was good. The area is sketchy.

My husband is a huge fan of this place. I think because he grew up eating here. The first time I tried it was when his family ordered it for take-out. It’s different from the Chinese food I am used to, but it was pretty good. To me, it is a way better version of panda express. I say that because the kind of food they serve is beef with broccoli, kung pao chicken, and the chow mein is similar to the one at panda express(way better quality of course). those of course are just examples of a few. I grew up on the Hong Kong Style pan fried noodles, salted fish fried rice kind of Chinese food, so I’m sure this is a different style or comes from a different area in China than what I’m used to. Nonetheless, It’s good! It’s just that unfortunately, for me it doesn’t satisfy my craving for Chinese food. I like the dumplings and the chow mein.

Best Chinese food ever! Been coming here for years. Basically anything and everything you order you’ll love. The chow mein and chow fun are my favorites. They actually have flavor unlike other noodles from other Chinese places I’ve had. m!

Place was pretty good. Ordered the broccoli chicken. Good flavor and price. When I went it was very busy and slow. Kinda sucked. Also, the owner had her granddaughter screaming her head off while I was ordering. Very annoying. Three stars for the food.

Their chow mein is terrible, so I’m pretty sure everything else is too. How can you mess up the basics?

Really not much to say but Go Here and eat. Til this day I still drive 40+ miles across the bay when I crave for a good Chinese food. This place is fast and efficient with good food and you get both QUALITY&QUANTITY. I’ve been going here for the last 20 years and I’ve tried just about everything on the menu but as most of you all know, you end up eating your favorites. I’m gonna stop now so you foodies can go and experience it yourself. Say hi the owner for me «the sweet nice little Asian lady“and say I recommended you there.

I give this restaurant three and a half starts. — The portions are good size — The cooking is ok. I feel the ingredients could be of better quality but over all you get what you pay for. — The service is good but I feel that the people who work in China Express could be more friendly. But that is just my opinion. I have to admit that if we compare this restaurant with the average Chinese restaurant it is about the same or just slightly better. But if you are on 23rd street and are craving some chow mein, please do visit this please.
