Imagine feeling that going to the Periodontist was a good experience! But that’s how it was for me. Dr. John is so chill and funny that I was able to relax during our appointment when I’m usually nervous at the dentist’s. My general dentist sent me to Dr John for a second opinion, and he took his time to explain everything that was going on so I feel I understand the two situations that triggered my visit. I’m very very impressed.

I have being seeing Stephen for many, many years because of my problems with plaque build up. As a psychologist, I appreciate the warm way he puts me and others at ease, and for the friendly collaborative way he works. He also has a wonderful touch; gentle and sensitive.
All procedures were discussed, and costs reviewed ahead of time.
I used to be uncomfortable at the thought of dental work, but he has proven that the right professional makes such a big difference!

I was referred to dr. Stephen John by my dentist which I go to for over 20 years. I was though cautioned that past customers were charged very large unexpected out of pocket fees, not always necessarily required or supported by their insurance. I had similar experience, and was surprised that the doctor stuck to his office rules rather than his customer (despite the wrongful miscommunication by his staff).
I finally decided to choose a different DDS! I think trusting your doctor is an absolute must!

I am an expert on gum disease and Dr. John is by the far the best at what he does. I have been going to him for over 20 years and I still have my teeth because of him. He is SO funny as well which helps when you are in THAT chair! I have had so many problems with my teeth (bad DNA from my Mom) and fortunately I found him when I was younger so I could keep my teeth. Don’t be scared.

Super mellow office.
Doctor John and the hygienist staff all have a very gentle touch. Once I almost fell asleep in the chair while having my teeth cleaned!
