Love Dr. Siu and her office! Can’t believe anyone would think Kathy is anything but amazingly sweet. I came back to the to get a new retainer after losing mine quite a few years ago. I haven’t been in probably a little over 10 years and not only did Kathy remember me, but she asked about the rest of my family. I think Dr. Siu does a great job and is very pleasant and easygoing. My parents made the decision of where to get my braces when I was a teenager, and when I realized I needed to get a new retainer, I made the choice to come back.

We selected Dr. Siu after speaking with friends and other parents in our school district. Our initial consultation made us very confident that we made the right choice, Dr. Siu carefully explained the corrections that my daughter needed and the available options. Cost was right on par with other orthodontists. Working with insurance was a bit of a challenge, but Kathy was persistent and eventually all was settled; I appreciated her managing this burden on our behalf. Appointment management is fantastic, my dentist (now former dentist) could learn some lessons from Dr. Siu! My daughter NEVER waited to be seen for scheduled appointments and walk-​in visits were easy to schedule (we had a couple of brackets pop off, which we found to be very common among our daughter’s friends with braces). Dr. Siu was always accessible whenever I had a question and always took time to say hello if she saw me in the waiting room. My daughter was expected to require braces for 2 years, but ended up finishing at 16 months so she was thrilled, but now she says she misses seeing Dr. Siu as often as she used to! You may want to consider simply sitting in her waiting room and listening to all of the highly satisfied patients and parents, and observing how efficiently her practice operates. She has a nice office right next to San Marino High School, a kind and professional staff, and free wifi (a big plus for me). I have absolutely no regrets about sending my daughter to Dr. Siu, I’ll be sending my second daughter in a couple of years.

Dr. Siu is great, however her interruptive and rude receptionist Kathy is forcing us to seek treatment elsewhere. Hope Dr. Siu can iron out the receptionist issues, because Dr. Sui herself is personable and knowlegable.
