Weeeelllll… there was two food booths(African and some other good smelling food) three produce, one honey and about three arts and crafts and live music. Walked the whole thing in 20 minutes. I love my hood, but looks like Esco or Carlsbad/Oceanside is better for these things. Prices are better at sprouts or farm stands in Vista or Esco.

Finally got to visit the San Marcos farmers market! Caught it on the«first Sunday» when it combined a car show and art walk. Had fun, listened to a great little band, had lunch, got some wonderful produce as well as some package foods. I will definitely be back!

Small and cozy farmers market with a lot of great vendors! The Booth with pita and Gresham hummus is fantastic and the African good is amazing! Worth dropping by to check it out!

Small cozy farmers market. 4 stars for the niceness of people and ease of parking, etc. Don’t expect a lot of vendors. Easy parking. At this time in the same parking lot as Restaurant Row. Maybe 15 to 20 vendors this Sunday afternoon. Multiple fruit and vegetable vendors, more handmade jewelry vendors than food stands and a band. I would come again if I was in the area but I definitely wouldn’t make a special trip from a long distance. With so many farmers markets in San Diego this one won’t be in my top 10 but the coziness of it makes it charming.

I love the farmers markets however this is more of some storage trucks(think U haul box trucks) parking on an asphalt parking lot sliding up their doors and bringing their left overs that they didn’t sell at the previous weekends busy farmers market to this location. Few vendors bad location. Cal state location was more ideal cooler and on a better day. Wednesdays instead of the typical Sunday. I hope they revamp or close this spot.

I was looking forward to this farmers market as I had recently been to the Vista, Encinitas, and Poway farmers markets and they were fantastic. This one was super small, maybe 20 vendors, it took only 5 minutes to walk through. I hope it grows and then I will visit again.

There is a lot of diversity at this market. A large selection of organic fruits and vegetables are expected but this market has something more. Fresh yard eggs, homemade soaps, breads, pastries, candy on a stick, boiled and fried peanuts, crepes, handmade jewelry, and much, much more. Every Sunday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Kid & pet friendly, too. They changed the times to 11:00 — 3:00 and nobody’s there by 2:00! Very poor management which has resulted in a lot fewer vendors and no food vendors! It will probably close soon if the management isn’t changed.

It is great to see markets like this still around. However, I have noticed that the turn out has been dwindling here, hoping it will pick up when spring and summer come around. This market has a great mix of local farmers(of course) as well as some unique gift/clothing vendors and food vendors. Everything from vintage clothing, to local honey, crepes and bbq. Stop on by and by yourself something nice!
