An hour and a half of bliss! I called and got an appointment right away for a pedi. The chairs are comfy, the attention to detail was almost surprising. The gentleman who did my pedicure spent a full hour and a half taking care of my sore, tired feet. I’ve never had such a terrific pedi experience. They carry the standard OPI colors, but have plenty of other brands and lots of colors to choose from. Since we are readying for a trip, I opted for the deluxe VIP pedi. It included scent, scrub, file, shape, polish, hot towels and massage. He went from foot to knee then followed with hot rocks. Excellent service, friendly conversation, and I’m thoroughly satisfied with the results!

I love this place for a pedicure, yes they are a little bit more expensive but its worth it. The foot massage is to die for! He pays such great attention to your feet. However the woman who does the nails I find very rude. She gets an attitude if you ask her something about the shape or anything really. I’ve been there twice and did not like my acrylic experience. And the price is ridiculous for fills as well as designs.

The staff here is the best part — so sweet and friendly and ready to spoil you! I found the full-body massage chairs weird — my hands and arms felt crushed and I couldn’t even get them out when the chair squeezed, just had to wait for it to let go, which was mildly disturbing and panic-inducing for a claustrophobic person — and the massage that I paid an extra $ 15 for was not the greatest. Every other salon I’ve been to has given great massages, taking care to make my feet feel boneless and my calves positively melty. As a runner, calf massages are the main reason I even get pedicures. The massage here, though, was basically 30 minutes of the lady rubbing her hands up and down my shins. That’s it. She didn’t massage my calves at all, and barely did my feet. Definitely not worth $ 15 extra. The cleanliness was spot on. The staff was friendly and did a good job painting my nails. Nice variety of colors to choose from. I just wish the massages were more like actual massages, especially for $ 15 per 30 minutes extra, and that the pedicure had been more thorough(and before you ask, I did not get just the basic one, so I expected a very thorough job with lots of dead skin removal and massage — neither of which I got much of at all.) I might go back here for the staff but I’ll be trying out some other local salons first. Oh, lastly — this place is INSIDE Walmart. So make sure to bring headphones if you want to truly relax, otherwise the constant beeping of the checkout lanes and screeching children are kind of a mood-killer.

I was a little bit skeptical about going to a nail salon located inside a Wal-Mart store, but I decided give it a shot today and took my mom for Mother’s Day pedicures. Once you’re seated in the massage chair — which was honestly the best massage chair I’ve ever been in — you kind of forget that you’re in Wal-Mart. The lighting is nice, the music is nice, and there are semi-sheer curtains that can be pulled closed for a little privacy or «buffer zone» between you and the person next to you(and the store). Let me reiterate: this was the best massage chair I’ve ever been in. Back, thighs, neck, shoulders — this thing did it all. Fully reclined. My mom and I both asked for the«deluxe pedicure,» which was priced at $ 35. This included a brief soak/wash, filing/buffing/dead skin removal, lotion/rub, a paraffin wax treatment that stays on for 10-ish minutes, attention to the nails and cuticles, and then the polishing. The whole thing lasted between 30 and 45 minutes. And you’re fully reclined in that incredible massage chair the whole time. It’s a nice salon. There are iPads that can be positioned in front of your chair with a little flexi-arm thing. I didn’t use mine and was able to easily move it aside. They have a decent selection of OPI nail colors. They use Pandora radio for music — and it isn’t too loud, so you can still comfortably talk and listen. The only downside is that the salon itself is a little bit small. Plus, you do have to enter and exit through the Wal-Mart store itself. Other than that, I was really pleased with the experience.
