Worst chipotle location ever. I’m a huge chipotle fan and love the brand. All the employees seem put off and rude. The worst part of all is they act like there is a food scarcity, resulting in the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. To add insult to injury the manager is very rude, which may be the reason this location is a below average location. You have to beg for more portions, every time.

I love this location because it is fairly artsy and sticks to the chipotle brand! Definitely a favorite in the county!

I came here this morning for a veggie-bowl and I was served what I’m pretty sure was left-overs from the day before. When I asked for guacamole, I noticed that it was darker green than usual. I tried a bite and realized it was exactly what it looked like — old guacamole that was starting to brown. Made me wonder — what else am I eating that isn’t fresh? That guacamole pretty much made the food inedible, on top of the soggy fajita vegetables. I don’t know if it is now common practice for chipotle to use left-over food or if this was just a random incident. Either way, I’m sure there are better ways to reduce food waste than to serve and charge customers for food that isn’t fresh. In light of recent incidents I would expect chipotle to be stepping up their game.

I heart chipotle. Seriously though. The guacamole is amazing, the barbacoa is to die for and the ingredients are fresh and healthy and quick! The San marcos location is nice because it has a nice outdoor patio and is surrounded by other food digs so if you’re not feeling chipotle(total wierdo cause who wouldn’t be not feeling chipotle) there’s other options.

I’m not sure why people are writing 3-Star reviews here. I just had another amazing meal. I travel a lot for work. I rest assured knowing I can always rely on a warm, healthy, delicious meal from Chipotle. I order the chicken bowl with tortillas on the side. I would have given them a 5-Star rating but I don’t like the noise or feeling rushed when I order. I love the Grand Ave store. I try to stop by at least once a week before hopping on the 78 for work. I’m a big fan of chipotle, so I’m giving it a 3 stars, but this location kinda sucks, they give really small portion compared to all the other locations I’ve been to. Also, the workers were busy chatting, I asked for lettuce and cheese, but they rushed through the order and forgot about it. I didn’t notice until I opened my bowl.

Definitely my first choice for a quick meal! Even if there is a line, it moves quickly. The employees are efficient and the food is always the same, so you know what to expect. The food is very fresh, doesn’t have all the preservatives that many chain restaurants do. If you sit outside, do not walk away from your food. The birds who reside there will be more than thrilled to have a bite or two!

Solid three stars. I was in the mood for a salad or a bowl type of dish and we ended up here. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside which is really nice. We opted to sit outside. I was a bit confused when my meal came. I know what I ordered(it was a salad with sofritos– their marinated tofu) and my husband ordered a bowl with chicken or something. Honestly, they looked exactly alike. The only difference was the way the greens were chopped. They’re basically the same thing. The food was good and the employees were friendly.

I was craving Chipotle on afternoon so I went on my lunch break with my partner to Chipotle. I was surprised by how small the portions had gotten. I remember when I would order a bowl and without even asking for extra, my bowl would be nearly over flowing and now, a swallowed bowl. The carne asada was also not as tender or as flavorful as I had expected. Disappointing. Chipotle is just not what I remember it being anymore.

I love Chiptole! I really do, but they skimp out on the portions. That’s the only reason why I give it a 3.

Seems like every time I come to this location something is off about my burrito. Last two times I’ve been there I haven’t enjoyed them at all. The last time something inside my veggie burrito(couldn’t figure out what) tasted super salty to the point where I didn’t even finish it. Today I tried again and sadly they failed. My fajita veggies were badly burnt and I hate the flavor of charred anything in my food :(and the corn salsa was super stale. On top of that, the girls making my burrito were not the friendliest when it came to their customer service skills. I think I’ll avoid this location all around in the future. Sucks when you pay so much for a damn burrito to not be 100% satisfied with it.

If I want fresh Mexican food I prefer to eat at Chipotle. Not only their ingredients are fresh, no growth hormones in their meat. Good guacamole but it’s a bit expensive to add on but I always do anyway cause it’s good for you. That’s another thing, I’m always conscious about eating healthy and I can do that here by getting a salad, just add whatever you want to your salad and check on the calories they have listed for the ingredients. But when I’m on vacation I get a burrito, yum! I’m happy to know that Chipotle does not serve meat or chicken with growth hormones. I hope they find a seller that has pork without all that junk soon, I miss it.

I like this location. I always have fast and friendly service since there is ten of them behind the counter. I think it is a bit ridiculous they charge almost 2 dollars more for guacamole but don’t tell you that when they ask if you want it. So beware… other then that its all good. Food tastes fresh, and I love they claim no GMO’s. My favorite part of this location is the outdoor seating area on a nice day.

Got a chicken bowl to split with my friend. They fill it with rice(your choice of white or brown), beans(pinto or black), chicken, lettuce, and cheese. We got guac and salsa on the side. The portion was pretty generous and was enough for us to share. I’m not big on cilantro and something had cilantro in it(not bad, just my taste preference). The guac has serious onions in it so you have been warned. Don’t plan to kiss anyone afterwards unless you both have had the guac. HA! Decent food. Healthier option than other places.

Fast. Consistently fresh and delicious. They seem to be overstuffed at all times but I don’t really care as long as my food gets done quickly and efficiently– which always happens here. I’m in and out in two minutes tops. Great place to stop by when you’re in a rush

All I can say is eh. Great location, next to a college(kind of), a bunch of businesses around, and in a great shopping mall. There only downfall is that the options of other places you can eat, phils, panera, in n out and chick fil-a. The only thing I hate about this chipotle is that they give you the smallest portions, no sir/ma’am I would like more rice, meat and or beans. Call me a fatty but I want a great portion.

Employees’ attitudes are unbelievablely rude! The amount of food is so freaking little, not worth for money at all. Screw this place! This is fxcking rip off!!!

Not too much variance from this Chipotle location to the next. Same food, same industrial look, same ordering process. Once they realized I was just ordering a bean and cheese burrito, they added more beans without me even asking. So kudos for that!

I am a Chipotle Fiend. I am highly disgusted by my experience here today. The rice was dry, the beans were dry, even our baby who usually loves the beans threw them across the table. This is not like chipotle!!! It’s like an alternate universe!

Much nicer than the Escondido counterpart. — Plenty of parking — Plenty of seating inside and out. — Bar style seating inside. Great Tijuana disco music playing. I always ask the manager to turn it UP!
