You GO HERE with your guy friends for cheap pool, good drink specials, $ 2 Water Moccasin shots before hitting the square and if you enjoy 80’s décor and writing with sharpies on the bathroom wall.
You DO NOT GO HERE if you are a female and appreciate clean restrooms, if you like places to sit other than wooden park benches or if you do not like really awkward rooms with quiet music where you feel like you have to whisper.
The bartenders are usually nice but the place needs an immediate face lift. Maybe more people would go to it if it wasn’t so dreadful on the inside. However, if you are going just to play pool and get cheap drinks it’s an OK spot but in my opinion worth it to drive to Austin for better a atmosphere…

bartenders are nice if you catch them on a good day other wise beware!

We would go to Cats whenever we were bored and wanted to play pool and get a cheap pitcher of beer. And sometimes we would close the place down. We had a group of 5 and we were told that we had ordered too many pitchers and we were not going to be able to drink anything else (4 pitchers, 5 people) 3 of 5 were not drunk, just having a good time. we were treated like we were the drunks of the place making too much noise and disturbing others. if anything the old men sitting at the bar were clearly intoxicated and made many girls feel uncomfortable. if you wanted us to take our business and good time else where, you know how to do it.
