Casey Rae

Casey has been working her magic with hair on both my husband and myself for more than 4 years! My hair is the healthiest it’s been in years and the color is always perfect. As for my husband, I’m so grateful for the fantastic job she does keeping his look professional and fun.
I love that Casey keeps current with her profession and even provides instruction to others.
She has a wonderful personality and has truly become a friend over the years. I love when it’s time to see her for my next color or trim and we get to catch up while she works her magic!
Her salon is hers and is truly personal, professional and so charming. There aren’t others milling about. Casey is solely focused on you, her client.

Casey has been doing my hair for about 10 years. She keeps herself updated with new styles and methods of styling your hair. I’ve never had an issue with the way my hair looks after my appointments. Casey if very accommodating and she makes sure her clients’ needs are taken care of. You’re the best Casey!!!

Casey is fantastic! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and sweet hair stylist. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new stylist. I found her through Unilocal a few months ago and now wouldn’t go anywhere else. I came to her at 32 weeks pregnant with my hair in need of some major love (I had not color treated it in 8 months and it was looking very dull). After she cut and colored it, my hair had new life! I have only been to her twice but both times I felt very comfortable and walked away extremely happy. I also love the Kevin Murphy products she uses and purchased a few items from the line to use at home. Great service all around!

Casey has been doing my hair for over a year now and she is great! To be honest, I have never really had a hairdresser that I consistently go to before her. I always feel like hairdressers have a difficult time with my hair. It is coarse, frizzy, wavy/​curly… I can usually sense the stylist’s discomfort when they try to blow dry it smooth haha. Casey, however, is wonderful with my hair and really does a great job styling it. I see her regularly for trims and color touchups. I get complimented on my hair color ALL the time now.
Beyond all that, I genuinely enjoy sitting in her chair. There’s nothing more uncomfortable than sitting in a hairdresser’s chair while they do their work… and having nothing to talk about with them. And awkward small talk is the worst! Casey is so easy to get along with and chat with that it just makes the appointment so much more enjoyable. I feel like she really takes the time to get to know her clients. I genuinely look forward to my appointments and would recommend her to anyone!
Plus, her salon is super cute! ;-)

I have been going to Casey now for quite a few years… and she is definitely a true artist when it comes to my red hair! Every month I have more and more gray hair to hide and she does it so it looks natural and healthy! I love her new salon… sooo comfortable and professional. she makes every visit a joy! I’ve been getting my hair done by Casey for almost two years now & every time it is absolutely spectacular. I consistently get a trim, color, treatment, and style — so basically the works — and it has never disappointed me. I have long, dark, thick, and naturally wavy hair and Casey knows exactly what to do with it to keep it shiny, healthy, and glamorous.
Sometimes I go into the solan with a specific idea of what I want — which she executes perfectly — and sometimes I ask for her suggestions and go with it. Either way, my hair is always on point when I leave and I get lots of compliments on the color and style. Makes a gal feel great!
I’ve also gone to see Casey to get my hair styled for an event. She did an excellent job creating a beautiful hairstyle that I hadn’t even worn before. It felt like I was an ethereal fairy woodland princess going to meet my Aragorn. (Thank you again, Casey.)
Not to mention, she’s just a fabulous person. Witty, funny, and genuinely nice. Obviously, referencing my above Lord of the Rings reference, she puts up with my nerdy banter and doesn’t send me marching. Lol.
Now, my hair is so long that I don’t need extensions, but I know that Casey is spectacular with them just by seeing some of her other clients’ beautiful heads of hair.
The Kevin Murphy products she uses are amazing! There are so many and they feel & smell great. My boyfriend always comments on how great my hair looks & smells after I see Casey (which is a testament to how great she is — how often do boyfriends notice when their girl changes up their hair?! Lol)
Also, my boyfriend gets his hair cut by Casey as well. He’s a pretty great template to work with already, (I’m slightly biased, but it’s the truth!) but he always looks even more dapper & handsome after he gets his hair cut by Casey. We adore her!
You’re not paying for a Great Clips haircut (sorry to throw you under the bus, Great Clips) so don’t expect it. But pricing isn’t anything even remotely crazy. I go in about every 8 – 9 weeks to get the whole package. It’s totally affordable. And it’s 100% worth it.

I moved here in late 2014 and Casey was the first stylist I found. She is kind, professional and takes much care to listen to Me and my special hair needs. She uses quality hair cRe products and I have been using them for over a year now.
I enjoy her very much and I get compliments on my hair frequently .

Casey has been doing my hair for over 10 years. She’s the only person I would ever trust with my hair! I moved to Dallas a few years ago and whenever I come back home I make sure I get an appointment in with her to do my hair. I’ve had every cut and color in the book and she always does a fantastic job!
I made the mistake of getting a spur of the moment trim from a friend that just graduated and she cut it so crooked I thought it was unfixable. Went to San Diego a month later and she fixed it and it didn’t even seem that much shorter!

Casey loves to make your hair look good. It’s an obsession really. There is a look in her eye and confidence in her hand when she takes on the task of transforming your frizzy fro into the best looking hair in two counties.
Trust me she knows her stuff. She is constantly reinvesting herself in learning about all that hair voodoo magic and teaching classes for Kevin Murphy (Cause she is the expert). She helps clients every day care for, nurture, love and tame that hair beast.

Casey is amazing. From first initial contact, with thorough communication to meeting her and immediately feeling like she understood what I was asking for. She is passionate and driven with her hair practice, uses quality products and makes sure to do a great job. Ive always used clip-​in extensions, but after seeing her work, I had her put extensions in. I also use Casey for colors and cuts and have gotten something different each time. Rest assured in her chair, shes got you & she’s very talented.

So far I am very satisfied and definitely recommend her for all of the services mentioned above! Since she has been doing my hair, I get compliments all the time — especially on the color. Casey is really great with highlights — they always come out just perfect.
She is also fabulous with extensions. She uses the tape kind that do not damage hair and are unnoticeable. No one believes that I have extensions in because they look so natural! The color is matched perfectly and she blends them really well. Even my friends that do hair couldn’t tell and just thought my hair had grown this much since the last time I saw them :)
I am so excited that she is now doing Brazilian Blowouts because now I can have all my hair needs taken care of by one person. Her prices are very reasonable and appointments can easily be made via texting which is awesome for me. She is located inside Salon Sultry on Grand Ave.
