My spouse was in San Marcos & picked me up a few truffles and chocolates. I enjoyed most are the truffles which were velvety, smooth and rich. The salted caramel was a good contrast of flavor. I have more to try but I know they will be Delish!
My spouse told me the owner is German background (yes they know Chocolate) and she was really sweet. Sad to read she is selling the business due to medical reasons? We hope the best for her and her family. Thank you!

I talked with the owner while I was in this great shop. She was delightful, friendly, and made my day. The fudge is great, you have to try the Divinity! I will be going back there time and time again.

Another Unilocal find that I definitely enjoyed. As the other reviewers said, they are generous with allowing you to taste test their chocolates. The fudge is amazing though. I had only anticipated buying 1lb of candy from here and I left with 3, go figure haha. They have a decent variety, including sugar free, and it’s chocolate… yes… CHOCOLATE!!! :D They were very courteous and prompt to serving us when we came in and offered samples on a lot of the items since we’d never had anything. It was also nice to talk to them and hear how they make the chocolates. Definitely recommend coming here and it’s the perfect gift for a girlfriend who loves chocolate more than you haha.

Everything in this shop is handcrafted. And an infinite variety of Fudge flavors to select from. Every time I stop in, a new flavor to sample. Handmake includes fun chocolate mold designs… pumpkin shapes, exotics, balloons,… you name it. Call ahead and they’ll customize chocolates for your event. Boxed chocolates too, but not mass produced… handmade. — Jess R.

LOVE this place! Good thing it’s not within walking distance, or else my hips would have been growing (wouldn’t be a good thing) :-) Ane yes, the owner is great about giving out samples. I’d recommend the Tang chocolate, and the spicy chocolate!

My husband bought me chocolate covered strawberries from this place. They berries were ripe and juice the chocolate rich!

I love this place! The owner makes most of the chocolates in the store. They taste amazing and are very cheap. She also sells old novelty candies and the whole place has a «granny’s house» feel to it. The truffles and the fudge are the best.

The lady is C.C. and she is a treasure! Great chocolates, homemade fudge, large selection of sugar-​free chocolates that taste great, as well as a huge selection of retro-​candy. She makes special fudges for certain holidays — for Valentines’ this year, it was marischino cherry fudge, yum. C.C. is so friendly and warm. You will never leave disappointed. (the Google map as shown today is incorrect; the location is on Rancho Santa Fe, just South of 78, next to an auto parts store near Grand Avenue in San Marcos).

This place is great! The owner is awesome, fudge tastes awesome, store décor is awesome! I’d rather go here than See’s any day. She’s fun to talk to and has even let us come in on Sunday! They offer some pretty cool flavors of fudge depending on season and is great about giving samples. Check it out for yourself. You’ll fall in love

I recently visited this little shop in San Marcos, Ca. I cant even do it justice in words. The chocolates and retro candy is awesome! It brings me back to my childhood, serious they have stuff I havnt seen in years! I even met the owner «CC» who makes the chocolates right on the spot! If you are looking for a friendly «mom and pop» candy store you have got to visit this place! I will be visiting again, partly because the chocolates I bought for my wife never made it home. Once I tried it I ate all of them, and also the fact that the service was amazing as-​well. Check them out, if you like chocolate this is the place for you!
