First let me point out that my experience is based only on my spray tan I got. They only have a very old mystic tan machine. By old I mean it is chipped and looks like it has never been cared for or properly maintained. The spray inside the bed was heavy on the left side and extremely sparse on the right side almost like the sprayer was clogged so in turn my whole right side including my arms and legs and face look like a cheetah… wtf. I want to first clarify a couple things. This was not my first time getting a spray tan… In fact I would consider myself a pro at spray tans because it takes a certain skill and technique of applying the barrier cream to have a perfect natural spray tan. No I did not take a shower when it was still drying, no I didn’t splash water on my arms, no I didn’t soak in a bath tub, yes I did exfoliate before my spray tan, no I did not wear tight fighting clothes afterwards. I did everything to standard operating procedure and my spray tan is embarrassing. I won’t be back and I will be sure to tell my clients to not use their mystic machine.

I will not be returning to this place ever. Im so very upset because i loved tanning here. The problem i encountered here is that the customer is NEVER right. I used to work at a salon where i sold many many many packages, memberships & services. As do the girls that work here. I came in on March 3rd and signed up for their level 3EFT — the monthly membership. Before i even stepped foot in here, i called the salon and asked pricing and pro rates and all that good stuff. The girl who was working gave me my pricing over the phone so i decided i would just come in. I came in, and she explained to me — i would pay a prorate to cover my tanning until APRIL15th. I said GREAT! So cheap! Yaaayyy! I was getting one month and a few days for about $ 30.00.(It was actually 28.00 after taxes). Well, she mis informed me and my FIRST draft was supposed to be MARCH15th! It never drafted because i didn’t account for that money and so it wasn’t in the account. Well, i went in today and Kevin — the owner said i owe the first month. After a little aggravation i was heading to get cash to pay for my first month until i remembered, the girl who signed me up told me my FIRST draft would be due on APRIL15th. So i called up there and spike with the owner, kevin. He argued with me for TWENTY minutes this morning over the phone until we agreed he should call his employee to hear her side. He called me back and told me she said«no i told her this month». Weird, because on my receipts and my phones calendar — i wrote APRIL15th! SOAFTERALLOFTHISBULLSHIT(Excuse my language) KEVINDIDNOTDOANYTHINGBUTCANCELMYACCOUNT. All he said was«Ally, i have bills to pay, i would never give a level 3 bed at that price, and how he was „sorry“ i felt scammed». If you go here, get your information in black & white, otherwise you’re screwed. RULE #1. THECUSTOMERISALWAYSRIGHT&RULE #2. DONTARGUEWITHYOURCUSTOMERS. Kevin, if you ever read this — please please please hire a store manager so there are no more angry customers and unresolved issues lingering in the air — giving you a bad reputation.

So far, so great. I have not been to a tanning salon in 7 years, but wanted to get a little extra color for an upcoming special event. Xtreme Tan has many options and are fair in price. No hard sells. I feel like the staff puts the customer first and wants them to have a great experience. Tanning beds are clean, the rooms are small(this the 4 star rating), but I’ve been able to get a little more color just after 2 visits! I’m very happy with the customer service and results I’ve seen.

I just bought a package. I had went elsewhere for years and I was tired of always being pressured to buy additional lotions, etc. The owner and the lady working at the desk were amazing! They were so awesome and they have packages to accommodate every budget. They are the kind of company you want to do business with. I actually told them what I needed, package, goggles, and lotion and what my budget was and they made it happen! I will be hoing to them and referring as many people as I can!

I love this place. Everyone I have dealt with has been courteous and informative. They don’t pressure you to buy products or services you don’t need. I love the fact that you can tan by the minute and don’t have to buy into a membership.

The owner of this tanning salon is really nice and helped me work with some budget constraints to get the job done. The super deluxe bed is the most amazing experience of all time; it misted me with water every thirty seconds or so. Delightful. The lay out of this building is really awkward, but for Christsakes, I’m not here to admire architecture so who gives a darn?

Pretty run of the mill tanning salon. Typical DuBourg high school soccer girls behind the counter, gives you the basics without the frills. Don’t try to force you into a membership(coughcoughTANCOcough). Pay by the minute. That’s cool. Why the star deduction? I don’t get to choose my music. Maybe that’s silly to some, but are you the type of person that changes the radio station when commercials come on? Then listen up. Some tanning salons have beds with their own speakers and you can control the radio and volume yourself. Here, there’s a speaker blaring overhead, and you’re subjected to bad music 10% of the time and advertisements 90% of the time. Maybe it was just this last experience, but it just so happened that I walked in right as a song was ending and left right as one was starting. And I was in the room that had the speaker directly above me. So instead of a relaxing fake-bake session, I was subjected to very obnoxious, loud radio advertisements for 10 straight minutes. I couldn’t *wait* to bust out of there. Maybe I’ll bring earplugs next time. Or maybe tolerate the harassment at other tanning salons if it means I get my own radio(sacrifices, people). I haven’t decided yet.

I don’t have many requirements for tanning salons, but these are the things that concern me: — Clean beds. Nothing grosses me out more than walking into a bed that I know some other nekkid bod has been laying on and seeing the remnants. –Bulbs that accomplish something. I’m paying to get a tan, I’d like to have one in a reasonable amount of time. –Friendly staff. I only see you for 30 seconds, and I’m really not asking anything of you… be nice to me. I went based on Elle’s review and I am more than satisfied with the product. Their base level beds are top notch, the girl who set me up with my initial package was extremely friendly and knowedgeable AND didn’t pressure me to buy anything. I’m pretty passive aggressive, but I know what I want and if you go all sales(wo)man on me… I probably won’t buy a thing. I digress, this girl didn’t. So I bought. Since then, I’ve gone in while 2 others were working, and they were both equally helpful. The rates were right on the money, the beds are spotless, and I started noticing a huge difference after my second visit. Also, if you’re of the paler variety or you only tan occasionally, individual tans are charged by the minute. While I’m more of a regular tanner(when I bother to do it), this could be quite beneficial to some. I recommend highly!

Need a tan? Skip the chain salons and head over here. Yes, we all know the warnings, but if you must you will get top notch tans here. And they won’t break your piggybank. I took one star off because sometimes, and only sometimes, the service is a little slow cause the girls who work there are too busy flirting with the guy who works there or vice versa… But you can’t beat the prices and the beds.
