This is one of the neighborhood’s better kept secrets. It’s a European grocery at heart, with all the oddly named produce to keep your idiot teenager laughing, but the real addiction here is the bread, baked fresh every morning. It’s a lovely whole wheat blend, comes as loaves, Kaiser rolls, soft baguettes, or pre-​sliced, and is definitely worth waking up early for.
