I had a really nice experience with Jessica. She does seem to book up pretty quickly, so it can be tricky if you don’t have a flexible schedule. I have gotten two gel manicures and one regular pedicure so far, and I will be returning for another mani/pedi before my wedding. I first checked this place out with a Groupon and I was really happy with my chip-free nails! The salon is small and tucked away, so know that you may get a little lost trying to find it the first time. Jessica is very focused on the work she is doing and is not super chatty. I actually quite prefer this to the forced conversations I’ve experienced with stylists in the past. She provides some really nice deals to clients, too, so they are worth checking out! I was very pleased.

My first appointment was canceled because Jessica did not allot enough time for the service I requested. I came back later in the week, and had a so-so experience. The basement location and old cloth recliner are not very appealing. Jessica is a bit sullen, but did open up as the appointment progressed. She did spend a lot of time on my hands and feet, and did a very nice job at massaging, exfoliating, filing, etc. However, she did not completely rub the cocoa butter paraffin dip off my toenails, and so the polish came right off later that night. I had to repaint with a similar color I had at home. My fingers look great! The prices are average for the services, but a bit high for the location and ambiance. I will not be back. A quickie salon does a better job with quality, and if I was going to splurge on a full service experience, I would want a nicer and more relaxing atmosphere.
