Left them a dinning room set on consignment, they told me it has sold, but refuse to send me my payment. They now will not return my calls. A complaint has been filed with the BBB. Avoid them at all costs.

I contacted this business to discuss selling what had been estimated by two other local consignment places as about $ 2000 worth of merchandise. Obviously I understood that there are vicissitudes to how this works, and didn’t expect to receive nearly that much but the owner said he was extremely familiar with the types of things I wanted to sell so I consigned with him. Well I received — get ready — $ 79! He then proceeded to tack on previously undisclosed charges to that, so in the end, on merchandise where I should(again — per his competition) have receive at least $ 500 – 600 on a bad day, I received about 10% of that. This business is either extremely fraudulent or extremely incompetent.

Urban dealight featured a coupon for this place, and I love thrift/resale etc, so I bought it. I went to their website and was looking forward to seeing the place. First off, it is very difficult to spot. Drove up Lemay Ferry a few times before I figured out where it was. Going inside, the first thing I noticed was the employee on her cell phone, having some sort of dramatic conversation with a friend about her ‘baby daddy’. No greeting to me, just talking away on her cell. I was very disappointed to see only two small racks of women’s clothes. I was expecting much more based on their website information. There were a lot of knick knacks, many of which looked like they should have been in the trash. I walked around the whole store, and did not see anything worth buying, except a few baby clothes, but even those were not great, and most had no prices. I have no idea how I am going to find $ 30 worth of merchandise there to fulfill my coupon. All in all, a HUGELETDOWN.
