Went to Randall’s on old Hall’s ferry because I knew they would have what I was looking for. Three olives strawberry 1.75 liter on shelf & tag in front of it says $ 19.99, when I get to register it rings $ 23.99. I show employee that the tag says $ 19.99, she reads it & tag says Smirnoff, not my fault that Randall’s employees stocked it in the wrong spot! When I asked if I can get it for the $ 19.99 price the ignorant male employee said«someone must have sat it there, if you go to the grocery store & this happens they are not going to give it to you for that price.» What an ignorant & rude remark to make to a customer. There where 3 bottles on the shelf, I find it hard to believe that a customer carried three 1.75 liters & sat them on the shelf! Horrible service, rude employee, no customer service skills at all!!!

This Randall’s isn’t as large as the other location on Jefferson, but is still a giant warehouse full of liquor. Once again, great selection of everything, has a great selection of minis and a sale section. The entrance is off of Old Halls Ferry, if you go to the Dunn Rd lot, you’ll have to get back on the road and drive over to the Old Halls Ferry lot.

From my point of view, I am a fan, they would be just awesome if they had better customer service. The place is so big, but they very seldom when I went in there to have someone that could help me with questions about the liquor. You know I have to take it to the next level when i drink or eat. So I want to know things about the Lager and the Ale’s. I want to know if the wine is made with grapes from France or Australia, even though it says bottled in France, is it north France or southern France, you know the grapes from the south of France are better than from north or is it? Is it really? I want to know about the champagne, even though I can look up most of these things on the internet, I hate walking through aisle of liquor mostly because I end up buying more or something else from eye appeal… lol… I want to come in and get just what I want. This may be a trap, for individuals like me, who may be compulsive buyers when at the liquor spot! This is the largest liquor store I have seen, it really should be called a liquor warehouse. They must have well over a hundred different beers from domestic to German and even New Zealand probably. Hundreds of Wines… way more than I care to count. Vodka, oh my probably over 30 vodkas, 30 more whiskies and 15 cognacs and 15 brandies this place just has too much. It is like sending a kid to the store for just a loaf of bread. I am coming back with more. I go in there for 1 — 6 pack of beer, come out with a case of beer, four different red wines, a couple of white wines, and some cognac. I only wanted to spend about $ 10.00 or less, I done spent $ 95.00! I am already in a wine club, now I have more… They always give me a box or 2 to put all my liquor in. Nothing like having your bag break on the way to the car and they will help you to your car with your fine drinks too. They not only have all the liquors but the stuff to make excellent cocktails with too, different mixes and even the glasses to put your new drink in. They have thought of everything for you and if you have the will power to come in just for that 6 pack or 1 bottle of wine they got it, but you will be hard not to see or find another drink that would make a fine addition to what you have.

Wow, been to a third Randall’s location… I think I might have a booze problem, lol. Nothing much to say about this one other than they have their own lot but it’s a little trickier to get to than, say, the Manchester location. Although the Jefferson location’s lot had always confused me because it looked like you were getting on the highway instead of going there so I’d sneak around the back quite often. Seems to be the same if not similar selection as other locations but a bit grungier in terms of the actual store itself. Not a deterrent for me though, as it’s probably the closest location to my house, although might be close call between there and Manchester if I’m already halfway between like I was the other day. I got a bottle of Rumchata yesterday for $ 18.99, but then I went to Sam’s Club today and the same size bottle was like $ 16…so yeah… they’re not the cheapest on prices but that being said you probably won’t find a jalapeño flavored vodka at Sam’s. So bottom line is go here for the specialty stuff. I mean, they even have alcoholic whipped cream, homgz! I also bought Three Olives vanilla vodka and mixed them to make a cinnamon toast crunch martini. Yeeeeeahh. So good. Oh and they have classic cars randomly at this location which I highly enjoyed seeing!(As did Sean H.)

Good service, selection and prices. Huge selection of single-malt scotch brands that are fairly priced. It’s well worth the trip across the river because IL prices and taxes are so much higher – fill your car with gas too as it’s 24 – 31 cents cheaper per gallon on the west side of the mighty Mississippi.

In comparison to the Fairview Heights location, this one feels a bit more cavernous and isolated from other businesses. But it has the same attractive selection of wines and excellent craft brews. If you’re passing through north county on I-270, it’s worth a quick stop to shop. If you’re keen on classic cars, there’s a pretty GTO convertible on display inside.
