Really nice event space. Very large and spacious with multiple levels. Good location close to downtown.

I want to start by saying that this room(4th Floor) is so amazing we could have gone without any decorations. Our guests and wedding party found the panoramic view of the St. Louis skyline through the gigantic windows to be breathtaking – and our minds were blown when the sun went down in the western sky. The service was impeccable and Cathy is a very thoughtful, generous and encouraging host. She was truly dedicated to making our wedding reception special. Compare this room to other venues like Windows on Washington or Lumen and NEO wins in every category – particularly in value. You can’t find a better space for the price. We’re already trying to think of excuses to throw another party there soon.

I want to preface this by saying that NEO allows you to bring in any caterer you’d like, they do not have their own caterer, nor do they have a list of caterers they force you to use! I only say this because I noticed a previous reviewer mentioned food, and if others ever review this and use food as part of their review score you should disregard that. My Husband and I just got married here and we could not have been happier with this venue! We used the 4th floor Neo room for our reception, which has a stunning, full panoramic view of downtown. Our guests were gasping when they stepped off of the elevator and into this amazing space. The whole atmosphere of the room is PERFECT for a rustic yet modern feel to your event, with glossy stained concrete floors, exposed brick, and those gorgeous warehouse window, this space will provide a perfect backdrop for your wedding. They have really beautiful lighting, uplifting on the spaces between the windows, string lights around the pillars. They also have really nice wood folding chairs instead of the hideous hotel lobby printed chairs that many venues have. Cathy was a pleasure to deal with while we arranged our accommodations at this space. The bar was loaded with a very nice variety, including many local craft beers, a wonderful house signature cocktail(The Neo Blue Moon), and Cathy is extremely flexible, willing to bring in a requested drink or personal signature cocktail. Most important though, as anyone planning an event on this scale knows, is the price, and we felt that NEO was extremely reasonable for their bar pricing(around $ 24 a head for premium full bar), we appreciated not having to pay per head per hour like many other venues charge. We were also able to fit our budget by the flexibility to pick whatever caterer we wanted. Cathy’s main set up guy, Eric, was also great! He made sure the space was set up exactly the way I wanted and was on top of broken, dropped glasses. He’s and awesome dude and clearly works very hard there. Overall I cannot imagine my wedding reception ending up anywhere but NEO!

Neo on Locust is a hidden gem of an event space. My new wife and I recently held our wedding and reception there and couldn’t be happier with how everything went. The space itself is a beautiful wide open room with some great views of the city. It’s got a bit of an industrial feel without sacrificing any the elegance you’d want for your event. So many of our guests were just blown away by the space. Staffing from top to bottom was great. The owner was accommodating in letting us pick our own caterer, DJ, and even bringing in particular beers we requested for the bar. Everything was set up exactly how we asked and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for an event space that will work with you and will add to the ambiance of the big event, give Neo a try. You won’t regret it.

Went to an event at Neo a few Fridays ago. There was poor signage from front of building, only some temporary signs in the parking lot and above the side entrance. The space inside is big; tall ceilings and vast rooms. The room on the main floor is nice with large windows that look out onto the vacant building across the street but the bar in this room is huge. The space upstairs is huge and much nicer. My favorite parts were the views of the city, especially downtown, along with the women’s bathroom. There were more large windows for city views but the sink fixtures were modern and lovely. But the French lavender Williams-Sonoma soap was enough to make me swoon.

I was here recently for a wedding and I was impressed with the venue. It’s located in midtown in an old auto parts warehouse. The interior has that very urban looking exposed brick vibe that’s common in St Louis. The wedding ceremony was held here, as well as the reception. The wedding was held on the ground floor while the reception was upstairs. The reception room is on the fourth floor and has huge windows in every direction. The views of the City made for a stunning backdrop. The in-house staff manned the bars and mixed fairly strong drinks. Dinner was buffet style and surprisingly delicious. I’m usually not impressed by wedding food, but this was definitely better than most. The dancefloor was nicely sized and(although this is kind of weird to mention), the bathrooms were pretty cool, too. Finally, the Neo has valet parking in a fenced lot, so you don’t have to worry about your car getting broken into while you’re inside. I’m a proud City dweller, but even I would be a little leery to leave my car parked near here unattended. This stretch of Locust is still gentrifying and better safe than sorry. I was very happy to see that the Neo has this covered. Overall if you’re looking for a unique, funky reception space in the city, you should check out this place!
