I came here for a quick bite and didn’t think much of the palace until I entered. I had an awesome bartender, good beer(Baltic Porter), and excellent good(Country fried chicken… Delish!) I will definitely be coming back.

Disappointing. Tried beer flight, nothing special. Had a salad, it came drowned in their house dressing. What brought it to 1-star was it was a Saturday lunch, very few people in the place yet the server seemed very put out to take our order or check-in with us.

I’ve visited most of the craft breweries in St. Louis, and this definitely rates as one of my 3 favorites. I enjoyed the Honey Wheat… a solid wheat brew with a hint of sweetness. But I liked the Black Bear better… a very drinkable dark beer.(Probably shouldn’t have had three, but they went down easy). The ribeye was fine. The appetizers were good. Not a bad place to eat, but the food is complimentary to the beer.

The food was mediocre; however, the beer and service was phenomenal. Their Oktoberfest was superb. The server was a younger girl who put in my order incorrectly. As soon as she realized what happened, she apologized and did not try to make up an excuse or place blame on anyone but herself. She continued to provide great a service even after her mistake. Well done. I will definitely visit again upon my return to St. Louis.

Great beer selection with awesome variety. Friendly service, pretty good food, I’d say, given the fact they are a brewery first, that’s what you want to go there for. Cool space and though it was pretty dead when I ate there I’m sure the place gets crazy busy. I’d go again.

Food was wonderful as was the beer. Sat outside and enjoyed an early dinner on a Friday. Server was attentive and helpful. Best value on a flight of beers I’ve seen anywhere!

Wish I could do 3.5 stars. In sum, Craft beer lovers– give this a try. They offer a «brewski» which is a paddle of all 6 beers currently on draft. One of the six was skunky, the rest were okay to very good. They have a killer Oktoberfest on right now. I got the brew burger which is a hand formed ground chuck with goat’s cheese and caramelized onions– simply delicious. Oh, and their house side is mashed potato bites. Amazing.

Stopped in and had a quesadilla and a pint during happy hour. The apps were half price and the beer was $ 3/pint, so it was definitely a bargain. The quesadilla was pretty standard, but the salsa was quite tasty. The beer I had was the Virgin Territories IPA. It was also pretty good, but nothing I’d rave about.

I went to Morgan Street brewery for lunch on a weekday. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They had a wide variety of options for seating. Patrons could sit outside, inside at short tables, or inside at tall tables. There was also a lot of room at the bar. The waitstaff was fast and friendly. I had the grilled portobello salad which was excellent. It had a lot of portobello which was grilled to perfection. It also came with fresh bread and garlic butter. I had the wheat beer and loved it. If it hadn’t been lunchtime, would have tried a flight with several of their beers. My companions both had burgers and they were stacked tall and juicy. The Morgan Street brewery is located at Laclede’s Landing which is in the oldest part of St. Louis. It’s in a quaint area with lots of cobblestones and it’s right on the river. The view is wonderful from outside, and if you choose to sit inside it’s also in an historic building that is been remodeled. Morgan Street brewery is a great place to take people from out of town.

Stopped in St Louis on our cross country road trip to see the famous arch and just happened to park next to this restaurant so we went in, without bothering to look at the reviews first. Bad idea :( The host was awesome, had great energy and was very friendly. I liked the fact that you could color on the tables(I’m a grown child, I know), and other than those two pros nothing else was good. Con: our waitress seemed to have no interests in serving us, it was awkward. I asked for a rum & coke, she brings back a tall glass; same as the water glasses, and it was 99% coke and 1% rum, unimpressed. Then the food came out, boyfriend got the chicken sandwich he liked the sandwich but the fries were strange — not normal fries, he also asked for ketchup and water and never got it & my Cesar salad was way over dressed, no me gusta.

We should have gotten burgers… This was basically the conclusion we came to after eating. I had a turkey club and it was pretty good but nothing amazing. The pizza on the other hand was some of the worst I have ever tasted in my life. It reminded me of school cafeteria pizza. Wait. WTF? What kind of cheese is on this?! Is this American«cheese» on this? It’s hard and crumbly, it’s not stretchy like mozzarella. It just kind of clumps when poked with a fork and tastes bland and just sits in your stomach like a ball of concentrated sadness. Ugh. I felt sick for hours afterwards. The place itself was run by polite staff and the location is huge with two floors. Beer was pretty good but nothing to write home about. This place gets 3-stars because of the location, the good staff, and the large interior. If it was dumpy, it’d be a 1-star place easily. I can’t emphasize enough how disgusting and disappointing the pizza was. I don’t know why we got a box for it when it went in the garbage soon after, which is where it belongs. The burgers did look good and I’m sure if I had one of those it would have been a more positive review but jebus, frozen pizza from the microwave is way better than this trash they tried to pass off as edible. To reiterate: AVOIDTHEPIZZA!

I hate to be the guy to say it, but the food menu needs revamping. The location is prime and has beautiful views of the city. The Food needs sprucing up. The menu needs some new age Americano features. It needs truffle fries and roasted bourbon chicken. It needs craft cocktails and blue bread dipped in olive oil.

Service could’ve been better/quicker, but when we got our food… OMG, so worth it! Burgers were huge and delicious! Don’t forget to ask for the desserts too! We had three flavors of Crème brûlée…Yum!

Place is huge. When I say huge, it takes up an entire block. So it’s a little confusing until you get down the Landing area. Food was alright, had the garlic bread with smoked bacon and the meat melt. Maybe it was the hangover, but the entire area looks like it’s going down hill. Heard it used to be a great area, just looks run down.

Meh, Morgan Street Brewery is not really that impressive at all with respect to their beer offering and the taste. Tried the honey wheat and the maibock and both beers tasted pretty skunky and had a bit of a sour after taste. Almost seemed as if they don’t clean their lines frequent enough. The servers at the bar seemed rather disinterested in serving us and our beer order took quite sometime to be placed, literally had to wait at a not so packed bar to get service, not cool. Came in with the intention of having a couple of beers and some grub and left with having ordered a couple of beers but only drinking 1 and 1⁄10 and decided to eat elsewhere. This place needs to work on their customer service and make sure their beer offering is colder and more consumable. Only thing going for them is their location, wouldn’t recommend. Pros– Location Text to get a free beer(didn’t try) Cons– Service Beer taste Cleanliness Food didn’t look to appealing Friendliness

As I was pulling into my hotel I noticed the Morgan Street Brewery. As we were walking down the street an hour or so later, and someone from the Brewery says come on in because at 10 it’s 2.00 pitchers. We had just eaten, so my friends and I didnt partake in any food. I ordered a draft and paid 5.00 of the golden Pilsner which was good. At 10:00 we ordered our first 2.00 pitcher. Pitchers were a little under 48 ounces but a craft beer for 2.00? Wow! We stayed for a few hours. Will the bartender was very friendly and kept us entertained. In would definitely go back. Good beer, great prices. Only small drawbacks are the place was relatively empty and you had to climb upstairs to get to the restroom. Keep up the good work!

The food was just okay for me, although I will say the drink specials/deals are pretty amazing. $ 2 pitchers, etc. on their own brews. If you go into the bathroom, you can sign-up for to receive texting notifications from them – you can get up to $ 5.95 of a drink free! Per customer :) I loved the Honey Wheat beer, it has a low IBU of 16 so it was a good choice for those of you who hate hops.
