March Office Hours @ Van Goghz

I really dig on this cute little bar/​restaurant at the corner of Shenadoah. A classmate of mine used to work here and she talked about it from time to time but I never felt the urge to investigate. I drive by here almost regularly because a close friend of mine lives in the area plus it’s on the way to the Shaved Duck which Sean and I are obsessed with so yeah… but anyway. I decided to go to the Unilocal March Office Hours and so glad I did! Got to meet both of the owners who are super nice btw and got to spend time with awesome Unilocalers and sample some of what Van Goghz has to offer. The pizzas were really great – I liked the pepperoni the best! Super glad they have my favorite beer here – Half Wit Wheat Ale, and a great martini selection too. I would definitely like to come back sometime soon, because it’s such a great spot and plus they have dinner specials almost every night of the week. Mmm, tempting. Ample parking as well which is always a + in my book!

I know I’m a hypocrite by saying this, but if you haven’t been to an office hours, you should make it a point to go. There’s nothing office-​like about it. Aimee bought pizza and drinks and had money ready to go for playing pool… although there were so many people in the room that starting a game of pool would’ve been like playing twister. You can come and go as you please, and often the events are at places you’ve been wanting to try anyway.

Booze, pizza, friends and Unilocal «stuff», it can not get any better. Office Hours are always a great way to see old friends and meet new ones and this time there was a lot of new.
George of Van Goghz was a delightful host, serving up fantastic martini’s and amazing pizza. He can also, pop the cap off a good cold beer.
Aimee, you’ve given us another great event. Thanks for making Saint Louis Unilocal,a fun place to be.

This was one of the most fun office hours I’ve been to. There was a pool table, lots of food, and lots of people.
van Goghz has really fun art in their room and I like it just for that. I saw a woman with a baby ordering food at the counter. She had her child on her back in one of those carrying things and the wait staff didn’t notice it until later. I was amused by their interaction.
The staff was nice and friendly and the pizza was fairly tasty, not the best I had, but definitely g. Aimee made the place feel all Unilocal-​festive with Unilocal sticks and Unilocal files and stickers! Thank you!

Hooray for Office Hours and Hooray for meeting new Unilocalers! This event was really fun and I’m so glad Aimee brought a little competition into it!
The task was for us to invite and bring 2 Unilocalers (whom we’ve never met) to this event! I know a lot of us sent out messages and some got replies, others weren’t as lucky. I think it was really cool to get some new faces mixed into the crowd! It was so nice to meet Bill, Fran, Amanda, Chris, and Mary… I know there were some others as well, but I had a hard time mingling with everyone. Thanks to Chris and Mary for coming out and being my +2!!! You guys rock!
The venue was great and the room we were in was the perfect size for our group! We each received a drink and Aimee ordered some pizza as well! Great choice! I was starving and I know others were too. The best part though was that Aimme had all the Unilocal goodies up for grabs! Unilocal-​stick, nail files, pens, mints, and stickers! How fun! We all know I love the pens!!! I can’t get enough of them. If you ever find yourself lucky enough to use the Unilocal-​stick you will become addicted; it’s a Unilocal-​diction.
It was nice to hang out with some friends and see some friendly faces as well. Thanks for another great Office Hours event Aimee! You really are an awesome Community Manager and Saint Louis is lucky to have you!
