Plenty of TVs for any game, show up early for a decent seat. Drinks are moderately priced and made perfectly. Service is on top of their game at the bar.

The problem with sitting on the sidewalk café is they start closing it down like at 9 pm when they are open until 3. People were wanting to spend money and they could not because they locked the chairs to the table. Was very strange because they missed out on a whole lot of business because the Cardinal game has just let out. They seemed more concerned with their closing duties hours before their close than actually making money. As a businessman I look at this and had to scratch my head. Had to wonder if the owner knew this type thing was going on.

Ok flannerys. You made me a bit happier. We went after playing games at starclipper across the street. Server was cheerful and even though 5 of us came in snacky, she didnt bat an eye when we wanted food 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. We got the sampler platter and a quesadilla and fries. The platter is tiny! Like super tiny! But the chicken tenders. I would go back for the tenders. So yummy! Mozz sticks were typical. Quesadilla was typical. I didnt try the t ravs or the pickles, but they disappeared fast! Beers were good. Guiness pour wasnt perfect but pretty good. Still not my favorite place, but with service like that will earn you higher ratings! Good job guys!

Great place to watch your favorite sports team play. They have over 20 big screen tvs. They also have a free shuttle to Cardinals and Blues game. Very friendly and awesome staff. Great happy hour and drinks specials. Their menu is mostly bar food but check out the shepherds pie and the chicken philly. You will not be disappointed.

Poor service — food came out sporadically over a 20 minute timeframe. Good quality was subpar for price. Place was pretty dirty — tables and floors had food on them. Pretty miserable experience overall. Would not recommend.

Great spot to hang to celebrate St. Patty’s day downtown. They served green bud lights and gave out free shots of whiskey.

Greasy and overpriced! Went there for lunch today. The sandwhich was so greasy it left the bun a soggy mess before I even started. I tried to eat as much as I could but the bland grease was too much. How do you make buffalo chicken bland?!? The worst part is it made me sick to my stomach. Won’t be back any time soon. Also who charges .75 for ranch with buffalo chicken? !?

It’s taken me about 6 years just to tell you guys that Flannery’s makes a mean Caesar Salad accessorized with the most delicious buttery bread and anchovy-ish dressing EVER! I’m not a fan but hey, all is fair in love and war right. The service is pretty mediocre. So is most of the food here; don’t expect to be wowed. Then again it’s a bar/grill what more do you want… there are tons of TV’s for your sports entertainment purposes, video games, a full bar, food & chicks. Located in a hot spot on Washington Ave. &14th Street it’s easy to find and jump around if you desire. Enjoy it for what it is and you’ll have a great time. ~Christy

Im sorry, but do you not want my money?! Seriously guys. Been here several times. I know irish pubs and this is a sad excuse for one. Friendly service? Nope! We went when we first moved here 3 years ago. Bad food, bad service, everything! Thought we would give it another shot. We play games at starclipper across the street, so we have gone here after and they act like its a huge pain for us to sit on the patio after 10! One guy started shutting everything down at 10:30 and kept looking at us and sighing. I finally asked if we were bothering him, to which he said, «i have to close guys! I said, «sorry, thought you were open until 1». «Well, we are sometimes if its worth it». Seriously?! Hugest pet peeve. Your hours are posted for a reason. Serious points off! We then went inside to finish our beers(we spent over 100 bucks for the 4 of us). Yet by midnite(again, they close at one?), they shut everything down and made it very clear they were done. Im sorry, but if a group is drinking and continuously spending money, keep to your posted hours instead of making us feel like a**holes for wanting to hang out and drink(and again, spend our money!). No thanks. I will go down the street to other bars, or go to Tigin! A true irish pub experience! I dont appreciate attitude. I was in the service industry 10 plus years, so i get wanting to be done or go home. But treating customers like that is not ok!

This place is pretty good you get what you pay for. I have been here on several occasions and have had a pleasant experience. The wait staff is nice and it is a nice atmosphere. I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwich, which is pretty amazing. It is a big sandwich and you get fries with it. They do a good job with food and service, if you like good pub food this is the place.

Went to Flannery’s last night before the Cardinals game. Happy hour started at 4:30, which meant ½ off apps as well as plenty of drink specials. The food was delicious pub food with good portions. The server was helpful and answered all of our questions. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. We walked from our hotel downtown, but it was an easy trot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easygoing drink and/or bite.

This place has good potential but refuses to live up to it. With all their taps, they could have the best draft beer list on Washington Avenue. But instead of pouring beers from St Louis’s great local microbreweries, the bar appears to be a front for InBev, with only a couple selections not related to Budweiser and its relatives. These completely ordinary beers are also completely overpriced at $ 5 – 6 per pint. To add insult to injury, Flannerys recently reduced the size of its draft pours(to 12 – 14 oz?) while keeping the prices the same. The service is usually friendly but does not display a high level of professionalism. I am not sure what management is thinking — this could be a great pub on Wash Ave, but the way it is run seems to accomplish exactly the opposite.

I’ve been to this spot each time I’ve visited St. Louis in the past year. My friend who lives in St. Louis really loves it. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is that of a typical Irish pub. It’s not exactly the largest establishment so I’m sure it can get pretty crowded during game time. Luckily we have came at times where it wasn’t too crazy. They have plenty of TVs which is a must in my mind for any sports bar. The food that I have had has always been pretty good. I had the chicken wings which were pretty good. Unfortunately though good, they didn’t really stand out from any other wings I’ve had in the past. I really enjoy wings as well. The service was mediocre at best. Our server was not exactly rude but sure wasn’t personable. She did her job which I guess is the most important thing at he end of the day. I just maybe ask for a smile every now and then. Overall the experience was not terrible by any means. Just not exactly memorable. I would recommend this if your in the area for decent bar fare. But I don’t know if I’d go out of your way.

It was alright. Nothing worth complaining about. Food was average; I got a cheeseburger pretzel sandwich and fries, and I got to enjoy it outside, so hey, it was cool. Service was great, too.

Plenty of TV’s for the games and a very nice staff! Pretty good selection and interesting takes on some food. Bro tip! Daily specials on beer/wings depending on the day! Sorry, I gotta ding you a star for running out of PBR on a weekday afternoon… one PBR in the building??? I’ll be back!

A few friends and I went there Sunday to watch some football. We stayed for 5 hours and almost had to beg for each drink. The service is terrible!!! I believe our waitress was gorked out on narcotics. I live in the neighborhood and wish I could say more about this place. The whole wait staff needs to be fired!

Horrible service if you’re female, awful work outfits, disgusting food that has random prices of brown«something» in it, and a 30 min wait to get your check or to be checked on. Every time I’ve been it’s been a horrible experience. Never coming again.

Good location if you are visiting city museum. Food was very good, we particularly liked the fried ravioli. Several issues one order came out not as ordered, but we still ate it as served 2nd larger issue that all appetizers and soup/salads came out with the meal We would come here again

We stopped here because we were starving and everywhere was busy. We live Downtown and never come here, so we were admittedly excited to cheat on our traditional fare with greasy bar food. It took 25 minutes to get a beer and 45 minutes for chicken tenders and a salad. This was not a good experience from any point of view. Bad experience, bad food.

Close to the house, which is awesome, and they have good food, which is awesome, but good luck trying to get service from the waitresses for food or drink. Even when almost completely empty, it takes an act of congress to get the waitresses to look up from their phone to acknowlege and or help you. I keep trying to give this place a chance due to its proximity to my house, but it always lets me down. It must be very poorly managed, because the service sucks 7 days a week, no matter who the server is. This is systemic. Once, i ordered a beer outside, and just left after not receiving it after 15 minutes. They aren’t very good service wise. I mean, i need to actually speak with a waitress to place an order, so, having some dumb girls that don’t give a fk as waitresses makes that hard to do. It’s a pitty, becuase their food is pretty solid. A little expensive though. I wish they could be better! Needs new management and a new waitstaff.

Dropped by to watch the World Cup(Team USA v. Germany). A fun atmosphere to watch a great sporting match(minus the idiot screaming about how dumb our team is for doing normal soccer things)… Flannery’s is a pretty nice effort on the Irish Pub concept — good Fish n’ Chips(better than average fries) and a nice Reuben Sandwich(though the 1000 Islands is a little heavy). The place is clean and the service is generally attentive. Good for«heavy» lunches or happy hours … or anytime something STL or USA is happening sports-wise.

I’ve been here a handful of times since I live a few blocks away. No complaints. I’m not into rowdy bars, so as long as there isn’t a baseball or football game on that night, your odds are pretty good as far as being able to hold a conversation in this place goes. As someone else said, «this place has an Irish name, but you won’t get the Irish pub experience.» I’m a fan of this place, but still, I totally agree! YMMV, but they have some of the hottest waitresses around, so keep that in mind lol. Good food, decent prices, good selection. They seem to have a thing for 90s music, too. I love it, but I know many would hate it.

This place is not awesome and I’m pretty sure it’s really not awesome to watch a game at, unless you are incredibly wasted. However, to be fair I’m just not that interested in sports bars. In fact, I had to mentally prepare myself for the crowded douche fest that I assumed(and was correct) we were walking into. It was loud, crowded and within the first 20 min some guy was yelling and cussing at some other guy. We went to sit outside. The side walk seating in this area is nice. I like the people watching and you can actually have a conversation. The service was average to slow. The waitress was a bit inattentive and they must have a busboy hovering around every table because dude was always there to take away plates, glasses and beers that were still being sipped on. The food was passable bar food. However, I listened to my fellow Unilocalers and played it on the safe side. I mean you can’t go wrong with a grilled cheese made out of big soft pretzels. However, it was supposed to come with tomato soup and it never appeared at the table. I didn’t bother to mention it. In summary, I wouldn’t go out of my way just to go here but if I had friends that wanted to hang here I would tolerate it for a bit then suggest we mosey on down the street.
