Denny’s

We came here for an early dinner before a concert. The food was just as you would expect from any other dennys. We were probably the only people in the place, the food came out hot and within a reasonable time-​frame. The server was nice but a little strange. We had somewhat of a weird request for our nachos and once he understood what we meant it came out just as we ordered it.

Bad service, ok food, and ok prices.
I went on a Sunday morning and it was really busy. I came in with a party of 4. Everything was fine for a while, our server was nice, although she took a while to come over and take our order. After that, she disappeared for long periods of time.
I ordered the Banana Caramel french toast and the bf ordered one of the skillets.
Our food took a while to come; I’d say around 30 minutes. Our server brought over 1 person’s food and we had to wait 5 more minutes to receive 2 other people’s food, and the other was brought later after that. Completely disappeared at end of visit.
And when the bf got his skillet — ouch! It was literally half full. It wasn’t even enough to fill me up, and I eat like a bird. There were like 4 tiny pieces of sausage, and the serving size was ridiculous. So, of course, brought it up with the server. Her reply, «It’s prepackaged, that’s how much everyone gets». Like I said, we have been to a million Denny’s (who hasn’t), and the reason he ordered this was because he knew it was a good serving size for him, and he’s usually full after it. So, we knew for a fact, that that excuse was a lie, which of course, we challenged her on that. No response.
Well, my banana Caramel french toast was great, but since, being the good girlfriend, I gave half of it to him to make up for skillet, I didn’t enjoy as much as I wanted.
As a disclaimer, I used to love coming there, great service, free hot chocolate refills, delicious food. I don’t know what happened!

Employees are nice but a little kooky, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Food is standard Denny’s, specializing in breakfast. Somewhat small location located near airport.
