This was my first ever visit to a food truck and I don’t know many ways that it could have been a worse experience. I got in line at 6:50 and I didn’t have the two sandwiches I ordered until 8:10. I visited their truck at The Art Museum’s summer film series and I understand that days are to be expected with such a large amount of people, but this was ridiculous. The only reason my girlfriend and I chose this truck was because of the short line and that wait wasn’t so bad, only 15 – 20 minutes but then to wait almost an hour for a simple sandwich is unacceptable. Also, their generator is horrendous. It was easily twice as loud as any other vehicle there which didn’t make it any easier to hear the whispering girl calling out orders. When you consider how overpriced their sandwiches are($ 8 and $ 10) there wasn’t a single positive thing about this experience. I would not recommend this«restaurant» to anyone.

Loved it! Doesn’t matter what you like, try the«Deli on a roll» sandwich! I hate slaw, still loved the sandwich. :-)

Fast and friendly service, the healthy ruben(turkey, sauerkraut, Russian dressing & Swiss cheese on Tzitzle Rye) was hot and tasty.

This truck has been to our work a few times and I always make sure to catch them. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. Plus the food is good. I have had both the Philly and the Egg Sandwich — both of which I would do again.

This food truck just arrived to my area, and I had some decent expectations. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered a «Little Bit of Israel» and I probably stood in line and waited after I ordered for about 30 minutes. I finally received my order late, right after a few people that I knew ordered after me, which is pretty unacceptable for service. When I received my sandwich, there were no apologies about the wait or anything. The sandwhich was decent and had a lot of great tasting salami, which I am particular about my lunch meats. Honestly, I don’t see myself ordering again, simply because a 30 minute wait is unacceptable service for a food truck.

5 people in the office ordered. The only happy person ordered the Rueben. I ordered the Philly which was very good but it was too small. When i opened the box i had to ask where the rest of my sandwich was. 3 other people got turkey sandwiches… it is a step above Budig meat on wonder bread. I would think they’d roast some turkey breasts and give you something good. Other trucks in the area charge the same prices, but you get really good food and can hardly eat it all. We will never patronize this truck again.

Have visited this truck three times now. First time had the pastrami reuben, second time the«Deli on a roll» sandwich(monster full of meats, topped w/slaw) and today I got the reuben again. Hopefully will try the cb/cc or their Philly, but it’s just too hard for me to pass up the awesome reuben, one of the best I have had. They are friendly and the food is out quick, hard to beat these guys if you are leaving the office to grab lunch.

I can’t believe Deli on a Roll hasn’t been reviewed yet. They come to Wash U Med School a lot. This was my first time trying them. The great thing is, they have both lunch and breakfast items. Who couldn’t use pancakes for lunch at work? So, I was torn between pancakes and french toast. I decided on the french toast. For six bucks, I got like six mini slices of french toast. OMG, so fluffy! I could taste the vanilla, it was so great and the perfect way to get my mid day sugar fix.
