This location has probably the best customer service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Bill was our waiter and he is such a kind person.

Quality at this location has gone down… this is the second time this year we had problems… Food not prepared properly… slow service… served us raw fish and grits that looked like soup. They took fish back to recook and it never came out so had to take it to go.

My family and I visit CB frequently when we travel; this location is actually close to my home. The weekday service is good; however, the weekend service and food quality is typically awful. On my most recent Saturday experience, the eggs were lukewarm, bacon was both undercooked and burnt, believe it or not. I had to ask the server twice for a coffee refill. I am at the point now, that I will no longer subject myself and family to this. Maybe its time to try Denny’s???

Great fireplace on a cold morning. Great service by Alyssa. Food was normal fast breakfast food. Country fried steak was good. Gravy servings have gotten skimpy.

Lesson learned: Not all Cracker Barrels are created equal. We eat at CB often, probably once a week in our hometown of Memphis and all along the driving trail. This was by far one of the worst. Service was ok, but blueberry pancakes were burnt(I mean DARK!), rubbery and barely warm… and after sending them back, the new ones had black char all over them and tasted like salt and pepper from a dirty grill. First child’s egg sandwich had mayo all over it and was lukewarm… other child’s «scrambled» eggs were a flat folded mass of dry overcooked egg resembling an omelette. My husband usually loves the grilled tenderloin plate, but here he said his green beans were wrinkly and tasted old and the tenderloins very small. Pass this one by and catch another if you can.

Horrible service and horrible food. We love Cracker Barrel and came here expecting awesome food. Sadly we were disappointed, the waitress must have been new and that’s fine but don’t be rude. The woman who took names and seated them was rude and her and our waitress were talking about our table and making faces. It took almost an hour to get our food. Really? Not okay. She only had our table and one other and the people from the other table were already gone. After she gave us our checks she never came back, even though we were sitting there visiting for a while. My sister is a waitress and she was even upset with the service. Never again will we go back there.

How do you serve bad french toast? …cook it on a dirty grill! That is what I was served today. Server dropped it off with no syrup and never asked(or was available) to see if I liked my food.

Went here about a month ago with family/friends for breakfast on a Saturday. It was packed as expected, and the wait wasn’t atrociously long, but it still took awhile to get a table. When we ordered we all got the same thing, Mama’s Breakfast, 5 persons to our group. The only thing different between our orders was how we had our eggs. Our orders came and they were wrong. They took it back and then started to bring out the orders in pieces every 5 – 10 mins. By the time I had my entire meal I noticed when they sent my eggs back that were over easy instead of scrambled they just mushed them up on the same plate, and it had a hair in it. I sent it back and they brought me a new plate. Our waitress was very nice, but after she took our order we only saw her for coffee refills when we were finishing our meals. I’ve been to other local places for breakfast with equally big weekend rushes that handle it A LOT better. Food 7⁄10. Service 3⁄10.

Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant, of all the locations I’ve been to, this has to be the best in the area. They were pretty busy, throughout my dinner. But managed to seat with no wait, & deliver food in a timely manner. So I ordered the chicken tenderloin dinner, you have the option of fried or grilled. I like half & half. For my sides I ordered mac n cheese, mash n gravy, and corn. Everything was so delicious, except for my mashed potatoes, they weren’t the best. The best thing of my whole meal was the biscuits, omg, they were so good, n fresh. So I definitely will take the extra drive for this location.

So, I came into this joint with a hankering for beef pot roast, but I left this place thinking that I should have picked a different restaurant. This restaurant was quaint and convenient when the place first opened. The establishment has a very nice country store in the front. They sell anything country, even country western CDs. I even noticed that they sell sugar candy and old fashioned pop in the back. I still had the hunger for beef pot roast, so I decided to bypass the store and try to get a seat. I stood there for what seemed like 5 minutes or so before I caught a manager standing there staring and it seemed like a light blinked above his head, because a hostess arrived a few minutes later. The the experience went downhill from there. The waitress was very nice and courteous but also very inexperienced. I believe I only saw her twice during the time that I was there, and she did not provide drink refills. Also, the beef pot roast, although delicious, lacked in volume. I believe that I could get more pot roast from a Healthy Choice entrée. After $ 10 later and a still very hungry tummy, I decided to skip this joint, and not go back.

The place was full on Sunday morning but I still can’t figure out why. Very compressed dining area and very loud. After a night on the town, all I wanted was a simple breakfast — boy did I sniff up the wrong tree. Every other breakfast place in America has the standard Eggs/bacon/hash browns or biscuit on their menu — but not this place. I considered going ala carte — but I didn’t see regular hash browns on the menu — only hash brown casserole. I was not enthused at the prospect of their casserole concoction so I searched the menu for a simple egg omelet of some kind but none was to be found. Okay. So I wasn’t going to get what I wanted — finally decided on the first thing on the menu, it was the closest to what I wanted sans the casseroling of the hash. But hey, maybe this hash brown casserole would be a new favorite. Let’s give it a try. While we were waiting for our meal, the waitresses offered to fill coffee cups numerous times. We’re talking every minute on the minute. While some people might be thrilled with this kind of attention from the staff, there is a fine line between good service and being a nuisance. Pretty sure we crossed over into nuisance. What the restaurant needs is to take one of the staff off«coffee detail» and maybe have them QC the orders going out. Because my hash brown casserole they were so determined to make me eat, was ice cold. So was my wife’s. So was our friends. Oh sure the waitress asked –we told — and here came the manager, but no. You see, I had seen the manager take a couple of plates to a table close to us when we first arrived with his apologies. I have a pretty good idea what he was apologizing for, and that he had just made a trip to the microwave with those guests meals. We were not going to let him nuke our breakfast. I don’t drop $ 10 on a cold breakfast. And I am not paying $ 10 to let you microwave my breakfast. I’m sure the manager would have been willing to appease us in any way– but we would hear of it. But I was pretty offended that someone put that food in front of me, and expected me to eat it and pay for it. That is just insulting. I worked several years in food service. Never served a meal like that. But then, I(and my employer) had a conscious. The fact that the parking lot was full, as we walked back to eat our(at least edible) free breakfast over at the hotel we stayed at, makes me wonder what kind of a spell this place has that keeps people coming back. It is really remarkable. I am not a food snob at all. I mean, I will eat vienna sausage from a can. And let me tell you. I would prefer that to ice cold hash brown casserole. By a mile.

My dad is just totally in love with this place. So, when I visit my parents on my yearly visit, I humor them and eat lunch or dinner here. The food here is OK. I always seem to order the catfish when I’m here. It’s pretty good. I also like their potatoes and broccoli. There really isn’t anything else on the menu I can eat given my food allergies. It isn’t my any means healthy, but maybe that’s why so many people like it. The atmosphere here is kind of cheesy. It’s Ruby Tuesdays meets Little House on the Prairie. It reminds me of when I lived in Albuquerque and they had this restaurant in Old Town which tried to convey the façade of some Little House on the Prairie-Olson Mercantile –old western type store. I suppose some people are really into that type of thing but I’m not. They need to hire some chicks that looks like Nelly Olson to do check out. That would make me laugh.

I walked in to Cracker Barrel and this lady kept almost running into me. Either look around or go to the hotess stand but make up your mind. Glad I got that out. I do like going to Cracker Barrel when I want a semi home cooked meal. I got the Weds special, chicken with broccolli. I got dumplins and hashbrown casserole as my sides and a cup of potato soup. The chicken was good but the ritz butter cracker crust can get to be a little much for me. I always love the dumplings. The hasbrown casserole is another thing I HAVE to get at the Barrel. The casserole really was a bit dry. I think it was a bit old. the soup was good but not what I am used to eating. There was no cheese ot bacon like most potato soup I get while I am out. It did have large chunks of potato. If I get it again I will ask for some cheese. I know I will be back. Especially if I am wanting to eat breakfast at 5pm.

Cracker Barrel. It’s what’s for dinner… or breakfast. My husband and I decided on dinner. This place serves comfort food in an old-fashioned country setting. I’m always curious as to who actually buys some of that odd merchandise they carry. Bedazzled Mizzou earmuffs, cookbooks with all of your favorite recipes from the 1890’s, or a nice christmas cd from your favorite D-list country artist. Hmmm??? Anyway, back to that food… I actually think the breakfast food is better than any of the dinner entrees, but I just wasn’t in a breakfast-for-dinner mood tonight. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner with hash brown casserole, okra, and mashed potatoes. My husband had a chicken tenderloin dish topped with bacon and cheese, and chose green beans, mac and cheese, and applesauce for his sides. It’s what you might expect for the low prices. Certainly not the greatest, but not the worst by any means. I’ll probably go for the french toast or pancakes again next time though.

Every Cracker Barrel is pretty much the same, I don’t know what you should expect. This place is hit or miss. I’ve had great meals here and their breakfast is okay, it depends if you like the crowds of people and tables so close together. I enjoy their dinners. I recommend the Catfish dinner with mashed potatoes. that is delicious. You never know what to expect. cold or hot food. You decide. Always crowded.

What can I say that’s not already been said about this place. Alright food and alright serving. I generally eat just breakfast here so I can’t write about lunch and dinner.

some restaurants leave minimal impressions on you, while others leave their mark in a big way, Cracker Barrel has always been guilty of the latter. I absolutely love coming to Cracker barrel for breakfast, and never get tired of it. The variety of food that offered on the menu is incredible, with so many different breakfast samplers and platters, there’s something to please everyone with. Cracker Barrel is known for several things, including their«hashbrown Cassarole» a mix of hash brown potatoes and cheese, and let me tell you, its tasty and oh so incredible. another favorite add on the meal is their signature baked apples. while your waiting to be seated or after your meal, there is the general store for your shopping pleasure. filled with tons of down home kitsch, and oodles of unique and hopefully one of a kind items. Cracker Barrels are scattered all over the highways of our state, so do yourself a favor and take that extra turn to Cracker barrel for your next breakfast or lunch /dinner, you will be so glad you did.

Well, hush ma mouth, I am an ungrateful wretch. After an unsuccessful loop off the interstate to find a Noodles & Co, we swung into a full parking lot at Cracker Barrell, to a «15 minute» wait.(Their estimate). Cranky, hungry and impatient, we waited. Forty minutes later, we were back on the road, smiling and happy. How do they do that? The entrees came faster than some McD’s orders. And whoever designed their new sides deserves a big hug.

I definitely have a thing for CB pancakes, crispy around the edges, fluffy in the middle. This one is WAY more busy than the Caseyville CB. When I arrived around 11, Sunday, we were told there would be a 35 minute wait, which ended up being around 20, 25 minutes. The only space left in the parking lot was for RVs. I, of course, got the mom’s pancake breakfast, but it wasn’t as awesome as the caseyville one.
