Cardinals Clubhouse

Okay so they’re now my team because I never had a team before and I kind of got conscripted into going for them but that’s okay because I understand that they’re actually pretty good and even though red isn’t my colour I’ll wear it with pride yo because Yadi is a beeeeeast.
I was paralyzed into indecision in front of the cap wall. So. Many. Baseball caps. Gotta catch ‘em all.

Baseball Heaven has a store!
Well, the St. Louis Cardinals actually have several team stores, and I have frequented all of them. However, I now live closest to the Cardinals Clubhouse at South County Center.
The staff at this location is fantastic. I make almost weekly visits and normally don’t buy anything. It’s gotten to the point where they recognize me instantly. However, they know that I’m not always ready to throw down on some gear. When I came by Saturday, one of the workers knew right away what I was looking for, the Spring Training hats. Which are awesome, by the way! Unfortunately, I only came to look, touch, but not buy. Nonetheless, I wasn’t pressure to make a move on it. Sooooooon…
If you’re a frequenter of the Cardinals Clubhouses, you might consider getting the Rallycard, a five dollar membership that gives discounts at all the mall locations. However, the stores at the stadium and Union Station don’t take the Rallycard. Shame on them! The Rallycard takes 20% off hats and 10% off most other merchandise, including clearance items! I’ve already more than made up the difference on my card purchase and saved a ton of money over Christmas time.
However, the only problem is with the corporation itself. Most Cardinals Clubhouses are own by the same people as LIDS, a hat store that’s also located at several malls. Patrons don’t always get first crack at new merchandise. For example, the latest Saturday alternate jerseys were not available for several weeks, but one could purchase them at the stadium or online. Also, they really dropped the ball when Stan Musial passed. They just recently got an order of Musial shirts in at the store, and I’m sure that patrons, besides myself, had been asking about jerseys and t-​shirts for quite some time.
Either way, I’m happy to do business with this Cardinals Clubhouse location. I love the staff, but I just wish the LIDS folks were on the ball.
