Barnes & Noble Cafe

I think something is really off with the taste and quality of the drinks. Like they use too much favored syrups and they don’t steam the milk correctly? Staff always seems short handed so I think the customer service sucks. Go to Farrell Café instead.

I only go to this place when I want coffee and I don’t feel like walking to Bread Co. for it. There aren’t many positives about this place. They have some of the Starbucks coffee drinks, but not all. The service can’t hear half the time. I ask for the sweetened tea lemonade drink and end up with unsweetened tea half the time. They also can’t really customize the drinks for anyone. All they can do is make hot drinks cold. There are a couple of unique drinks that I like there, but that’s about it.
I have very few positives, thus I am done with this review.

Nice spot, they have a wide variety of food and beverages. Service is pretty good, but it sucks that a lot of the drinks you can only purchase a grande. I am not a huge coffee drinker so a grande as way to much for me, and you are stuck paying more than if they offered talls.

I guess since this is a chain, I will skip the details that you would find at most Barnes and Noble Cafes across the country. What I can say though is that the service is phenomenal. There is a barista there who apparently is really good at remembering people’s usual drinks. When I stopped by this morning, she had the usual coffee drink of the two people in front of me ready before he even placed their order. If the service on a normal day is as good as what I received and saw this morning, I am quickly going to become a fan of this place.
The only reason I would not give this place five stars is because it simply cannot look up Barnes and Noble memberships. I always forget to carry my card, and it’s absolutely disappointing not being able to get my member discount at this location just because I forgot to, while at any other location they can simply look it up at the register.
