The first time I came here it was purely out of convenience. It was relatively close to my house and had good reviews so why not try it out right? I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness off the staff who recommended great breakfast sandwiches. The barista was warm and welcoming and I had a great conversation with him about my dogs… yes my dogs haha. I got the Leavitt(highly recommend for fellow veggies) and was not let down. You could really tell the ingredients were fresh and the barista told me while I was waiting that everything is made to order. Perfect, a place that doesn’t let things sit out forever until someone orders it! I also got the gigantic Heath cookie that I could barely wait to try until I got back home. It was so tasty!!! It had the perfect amount of crunch and chewiness that you want in a heath cookie! Definitely recommend that as well. I will definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I had breakfast here after a bike ride through tower grove park. I had the Roemer breakfast burrito and he had the Kuiper. Mine was amazing, the feta, olives, egg, onions, tomato and spinach somehow melded into a perfect flavor profile. The burritos were very nicely sized for the price. I would’ve liked some hashbrowns or other morning potato side as an option. That was the only downside. They also have a comic boor store attached! Go browse while you are waiting for your food. I can’t wait to go back and try the bakery goods.

So I have only had two things off of the menu at Annie Moon’s, but I am still a huge fan,. Even more impressive? I had a two month build up prior to finally eating from here and it wasn’t anti climatic. First, this place is local to me. It’s located in the Tower Grove South neighborhood in a nondescript building. They have free wifi and ample plugins for electronics… Which would have been handy had I ate in as my Macbook’s battery is exhausted these days. If you can’t bring yourself over there or feel comfy in your PJs, no fear! There is delivery available through the bike waiter for $ 2.99(or through Eat24 — who uses the bike waiter, but offers a weekend coupon) They offer breakfast and lunch, but all I have had is breakfast. What have I had? French Toast sticks… I feel like I was told there would only be three pieces, but I got four… Not those wimpy French today sticks from the freezer aisle, but actually French toast cut into strips. They come with the best syrup ever. Triple Quasar burrito. I uploaded a pic of this and it really was huge. Huge doesn’t always translate into tasty with burritos, but this one was great. I am not sure if I like this as much as the one from tortilla grille, but they’re totally different so it’s hard to compare… This one was less separate components, more blended together — which is good for consistent taste, but makes it harder to pick out individual flavors. Definitely will be back.

Tower Grove South is one of my favorite neighborhoods and Annie Moons Bakery adds to its charm: tasty muffins, good coffee and a relaxing environment. Just go there and see what I mean. Cheers.
