Went there quite a bit when I worked at SLU. The smoothie’s there are AMAZING! The lunch menu is decently priced also. If you like a corner coffee shop feel and not too pricey, this is the place. Downside is place is only open during the week.

Conversation at 8am when I went in for coffee: Me: «Thanks for the coffee!» Guy working: «Thanks for wearing such cool earrings!» WHAT? Great coffee AND random(very random) compliments? Don’t move, Six North!

Pretty OK I guess. I bought a Living Social deal for 6 North without realizing that they aren’t open evenings or weekends, so it took me forever to actually get to use it. I ordered the seasonal vanilla honey latte, which was nothing to write home about. It tasted like a vanilla latte to me, and not a terrific one at that. hmph. Paired the latte with a pumpkin scone because I try to take advantage of everything pumpkin during this season! Upon ordering, I knew it was a risk… I never get scones in the States, as every one I have ever had is dry and just not right. I got spoiled in the UK with the oh-so-incredible and fluffy scones they have there, which taste like the most delicious muffin & biscuit combo I could ever dream of. Anyways…the pumpkin scone was no different from any other US scone experience I’ve had. The flavor was good, but it was dry and the icing on top made it way too sweet(and that means a lot coming from a gal with a sweet tooth that’s hard to top). Needless to say, I didn’t finish it. I also bought a pumpkin loaf and a blueberry muffin to go for the next couple mornings(since I had to use the deal all at once). they were already wrapped up in saran wrap & they kept well. Both of these were excellent! Really great flavor and just how a baked good should be! The staff was nice & helpful, but I only liked 50% of what I ordered, so I most likely won’t be coming back here.

They offer Kaldi’s coffee without having to trek to the other side of the park. DANGEROUSLY delicious homemade oatbran bar. yummmy Sweet staff. I became a regular when I decided starbucks coffee really does suck and keeping the small guys open just makes sense. They’re closed weekends :(but you can’t always have your cake/oatbar & eat it too!

Good Kaldi coffee, love the Cinnamon Hazelnut! I usually stop by the one in CWE for coffee on my way to work. I go to the one downtown for lunch very often. The North Café Turkey sandwich is the best. Everything I have had here is really good, BLT, Salads, wraps, veggie sandwich. yum…and soups. It is my go to lunch spot. I love their Jasmine Green tea, so good!

I come here quite often to get lunch to take back to the office. I always get the same sandwich: the Six North Turkey Club — wheat bread, turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, bean sprouts, avocado, and mustard-mayo(the last of which I opt out of). Great sandwich! 6N Pros: 1. Very friendly service — I go there often enough that a couple people greet me by name and even know my order.(I don’t know if that’s cool… or just sad…). The rest of the staff has been equally friendly. 2. They serve Boylan’s soda along with coke, coffee, smoothies, etc… 3. The sandwiches come wrapped in plastic wrap so it stays together nicely. 4. They have a loyalty card: buy 6 sandwiches, get the 7th free, which I’ve definitely taken advantage of. The LivingSocial deal was good too: $ 5 for $ 10 worth of food/drink…I bought 5. 6N Cons 1. Price: $ 9.50ish for sandwich, chips and a drink. I can’t afford to go as much as I do. I think my sandwich alone is $ 6.30(not terrible I guess, but not great). 2. Inconsistency: About 1 out of every 3 times I go, my sandwich will be missing something(usually the avocado or the bean sprouts), but they will not tell me that when I order. If something is out, let me know and I might actually order something different for once. 3. Speed: The wait is never terrible, but even 5 minutes for a cold sandwich when no one else is in there can feel like a long wait. Usually there are some nice people to talk to though. Definitely give this place a try!

This is a great place to sit, work and enjoy some good coffee. Like others have said, they serve Kaldi’s coffee, which is never a bad thing. Plenty of room to sit both inside and out. I enjoy this place more than other coffee shops in the CWE because its a little less busy. I’ve had a couple of their wraps and salads and all of them have been quite tasty. Nothing spectacular, but good. Not giving this place 5 starts because the location is nothing too special.

This place wasn’t bad. I love Kaldis. Huge fan. This place was super slow service and not a huge breakfast to choose from. I really wish they also had more cream cheeses to choose from.

This is my go-to coffee place on the way to work in the morning — you can’t go wrong with Kaldi’s coffee and they recently upgraded all their brewing/grinding equipment. I haven’t had much of their food, other than biscotti and oatmeal bars, so the drinks are the basis of my review. The fruit smoothies are also quite good and my boss is addicted to the frozen wild tribe mochas. They get 4 stars due to their tendency to get a bit overwhelmed when they are slammed with customers, but the people who work there are always very friendly and helpful.

We were TRYING to go to the Northwest Coffee Roasting Company and accidentally ended up here. Sometimes, these trips award me with pleasant surprises other times… it’s the kind of surprise that ruins your day. I am absolutely insulted by the Americano I was served here this morning. I got it iced. And it’s more watered down than a regular iced coffee. They handed it over to me and I really wanted to hand it right back and say… that’s not coffee. It’s fucking brown water. Also, the guy gave me the soy milk from behind the counter and there wasn’t much left. So… I got the curds at the bottom of the box in my coffee. Thumbs down!

I only allow myself coffee on the weekends. I’m an insomniac as it is; I don’t need extra help. So, when I do drink coffee, I want really good stuff. One of my go-to places is the 6 N. Coffee Company. I get bags of their whole bean coffee to go(I usually get a veggie wrap to go with it.)

I’ve tried only three things here and two of them weren’t good, but one was very yummy. The homemade brownies with chocolate icing were way too saccharine and nondescript for me, and the jasmine iced tea was way too bitter. I was so excited to find a place in St. Louis that has a lower caffeine version. I’m a big green tea drinker, so if it’s not going to be caffeine free(and it never is, unless you get the passion iced tea at Starbuck’s or Kaldi’s), then I’d love for it to be green tea. But here, no matter how many different times I’ve ordered it, it tastes as if it’s been steeped 18 hours. It’s not light and fragrant, but heavy and acrid. But my friend’s turkey sandwich was very good. The atmosphere is quite nice too. We always sit in the back by the coffee beans(from Kaldi’s) on the black leather lounge chairs they’ve got. It’s a fun, clean environment in a rehabbed part of Sarah and Laclede in the CWE.
