I have a queen sized mattress to expose of. I called 1−800-Got-Junk and they quoted me $ 117 dollars. I told them«No Thanks» I will go elsewhere. I will probably just do it myself. Thats what friends with trucks are for. This company is a true rip off! Unless you have money to blow.

I’ve used 1−800-Got-Junk just a few times over the last several years for disposing of things either too large or too much volume for me to take care of. Very easy to deal with: set up the appointment on-line and get a confirmation email(on my last appointment I also got a phone call but don’t remember if I did for the others). They also call when they are on their way from the previous appointment. The guys are always pleasant and are in-and-out quickly. Just point out the items to be taken and they confirm the price and the stuff is gone. One other thing I appreciate is they to recycle as much of the collect items as possible.

I was absolutely impressed with the service, on all levels: ease of booking, prompt response, punctuality, professionalism throughout. The workers were very polite, efficient, respectful, and proactive. They did the enormous job of clearing my garage in the most efficient manner, and they even swept up some of the debris, which they didn’t have to do. They made sure that nothing that I wanted to keep was removed. The speed of the service and the quality of the work were absolutely fantastic. In addition, before starting the job, they gave me a very precise estimate, and this is exactly what I paid. I found the price for the service they provided to be very reasonable. I recommend them enthusiastically.

This was my second time using them for an estate cleanout(the other was in a different area). They made it as easy as possible for me, and kept me informed every step of the way. James and Matt did a first-class job. And worked hard.

The whole process was so easy. I booked online. They confirmed by email and phone. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way! The nicest NICEST young men showed up eager to work. They had to haul and old broken heavy treadmill from the depths of my basement and they did so without a complaint. They even made friends with my dog. They gave me an estimate before they started and it was totally worth the cost! I would highly recommend them to anyone who has junk laying around because they are too tired or embarrassed to get rid of it themselves! The service was so nice and professional it made me wish I would have hired them ages ago!!!

I had a 50″ rear projection tv in my basement that weighed 250~lbs and it was NOT a walk out basement. I had new hard wood floors and steps put in last year. I must say they did an excellent job in removing this beast of a TV. Plus they gave me the tv special for $ 29. Great deal and great job. Will highly recommend them.

While in the process of moving in with my fiancé, we get the fun task of deciding whose stuff stays(mine) and whose stuff goes(his) while we consolidate our 2 households. While stuff like clothing, kitchenware, etc. might be donate-able, the rest of this stuff is JUNK. No offense, but what person keeps a couch(covered in dog hair) in an unfinished(and scary) basement for 6+ years and thinks anyone wants to sit in it? Gross. And who wants a mattress that’s been sitting in a dark, wet garage for that same time period? Eew. Let’s also add in some old-ass computer monitor that looks like it’s from the early 90s and prob weighs more than my car. Ugh. Being that I personally am too girly(and weak) to be of any help to move this stuff out to a rented dumpster, I schedule(online) an appt with 1−800-GOT-JUNK. They had plenty of time slots to choose from(including Saturdays!) and if you book same day or next day, you save $ 10 off your total. You get email confirmation as well as a phone call to confirm your appt time, as well as to let you know that you’ll receive another call when the guys are on their way. Terry and Kevin called about 45 min prior to my appt slot to let me know they were on their way. After a run-through of all the items I wanted them to take, they provided an estimate(based on truck volume) before they started. As they were working, I found other items for them to take(including branches that were waiting for yard waste disposal), and they took care of it all. Both guys had a great attitude and were very professional. They were done their work in about an hr(a full truck load — 2 couches, futon mattress, mattress, and other random boxes of crap + the branches), so they were very efficient and totally worth the cost.
